(Ya know... I was rereading my profiles for Izzy, Pippa, and Clea and I realized Pippa has a couple powers I haven't been using XD )

Izzy nodded and held her hand out to shake his. "Pleasure to meet you, Hyacinthe." He was an interesting fellow. He even stood up for Agito, sort of. She appreciated that. Of course, seeing as how he was dressed, he appeared to know somewhat of the same things Agito had gone through... maybe? "Little shrine in the mountains?" Was that it? "I see... I was just wondering... my shrine might have known yuors is all, but I'll let the two of you talk clothes instead."

The Captain was now gone, and luckly she spoke nothing of the two's earlier... mistake. Now the two men were getting to know eachother as Agito's clothes-making seemed to fascinate the newcomer. She would admit, he did very very nice work... and oddly enough, he was the only one who'd been able to convince her to wear a dress. Not even her own sister could do that. Of course, this didn't mean she'd continue doing so. She'd probably just hang this one up somewhere and take it out for special occasions only.

Dresses weren't practical when it came to her work, after all. In fact, they made it harder to run in areas where your prey could phase though solid objects while you could not.

Noting the amusement in the other man's eyes, Agito almost questioned the comment that followed. The other man's sincere tone, however, caught him off guard and he blushed a faint pink. "Th-thank you." he responded, accepting the compliments as graciously he could. He could see the truth in the man's words, and he might have used the jade fabric had he been aiming for a masculine tone. The color was slightly off when compared to the color of the leaves, but he doubted anyone would notice; he had trained his eyes to tell the difference between similar colors, and he didn't expect anyone to be staring directly at the clothing anyway.

"I might have used the jade had I been aiming for a masculine feel, but I see the truth in your words. The jade does offset the feminine pattern." he was studying the robe, the way it hung perfectly on this man's frame. He would have to persuade this man to let him design more clothes, as he had never had such a tall, and yet feminine, person to design for. Turning his attention back to the other man's face, he notices for the first time that he is being studying as well. "I request that you keep it. I believe you will take care of it." which was all he wanted for his hard work, despite them being only clothes. He had probably spent a few days making the lovely robe-like outfit before him, especially considering the long and swinging sleeves.

Hyacinthe was surprised by the hand she gave him, he took it with a bow and bent to slightly brush his lips on the top of Izzy's hand. "The honor is mine." he said straightening up and letting go of the woman's hand, hoping that he had acted properly.

He felt a little guilty as she seemed a little put off by his vague answer about his shrine. He wanted to leave his past behind, yet he would probably mention it to her later, especially now that he knew that she was also coming from a shrine.

He was about to question her on the subject, but she took her leave, letting the two men..speak about clothes?! Clothes?!

"No.. you..." he started and stopped. Not only was she gone, but the soft man was speaking to him, thanking him...and blushing! Hyacinthe blinked at the sight. The tone was pastel on the man's skin, as tender as a cherry blossom, and soon the former shrine Gardian was sure that he had dreamed it.

Agito's agreement with him was welcomed by a slight nod from Hyacinthe. He did not wish to get on the bad side of someone able to create such a beautiful kimono. Yet as second passed and he felt the hazelnut eyes of Agito scanning him. In truth they were scanning the clothe, but that made Hyacinthe very self conscious.

As he opened his mouth to ask if something was wrong, Agito spoke. His request let Hyacinthe speechless for a moment.
"Me? Keeping such a precious robe?" he blinked puzzled. "I...this is such an honor. I have to refuse." He was trying to find an excuse to refuse the present which he did not deserve.
"Plus doesn't it belong to the Captain?" he added hopeful.

((What is Agito's current hair color?))

{A grey-ish blue, but I believe this is the picture I'll be using for now. What I like about Agito is that switching pictures makes perfect sense for him.}

Noting Izzy back out of the conversation, he instead turns his full attention to Hyacinthe; if Izzy wanted to interject, she would. He could tell that the man before him felt slightly uncomfortable, though whether it was the unfamiliar environment or his analytical approach to the clothing he wore. He hoped he hadn't offended the captain's guest, as that always seemed to end poorly, and he simply wasn't the type to offend people on purpose.

Pursing his lips at the other man's polite attempt at a refusal, the young man shook his head in disagreement. "I simply lent her the clothes in case she saw fit to redress someone." he frowned faintly, an expression not commonly seen on his face. He wanted the man to keep the robe simply because he had called it precious; if he had given it to the Captain, as the other man assumed, she would simply put it in her closet and never touch it again. "The Captain's wardrobe does not vary much in any aspect. She would use it as a towel before wearing it in public." he admits, sighing in defeat; he had been trying for years to sneak a little more color in the Captain's wardrobe. He would readily give the man before him any of the clothes he had made, but it seems it would take a bit more persuading than it had with Izzy's sister.

Hyacinthe looked at Agito, detailing his face. There was a hint of shyness in the man's composure and features, yet he knew that he would stand up for what he thought right.

The frown across his face did not fit him. Instead of looking annoyed, Agito looked cute. Hyacinthe frowned. Since when did he find a man 'cute'?! Since the men and women around him weren't either his family or looking older than fifty year old!

Hyacinthe gave him a short bow, gracefully making the fabric float around him with each of his movements.
"I am very grateful for this honor. I am in your debt." he said softly. "I shall repay it one day as you see fit." He straightened back up, enjoying the silk against his skin.

"I am sad to hear that she will not wear your creations. She would look stunning in one of them." he said, for a second his eyes gazing at the silhouette of the Captain speaking with other Striders.

As he looked back at Agito, his hand brushed the sash and he looked at it for a moment before raising his eyes in those of the blue haired man.
"I should also give back that sash to its righteous kimono and use the matching one that goes with this beautiful furisode." His face had a peaceful smile as he spoke.

Sighing faintly, the boy couldn't help but wonder if this is how the captain felt all the time; the man before him was being far too formal, and making a large deal over something he meant to be small. He smiled, however, at his comment about the captain wearing his clothes. "She is wearing one now." he pointed out, sounding almost regretful. "Most of it, at least. She had me remove the fancier bits." he sighed in defeat, shaking his head regretfully; the captain's wardrobe seemed so gloomy.

"Or could simply take them both." Agito pointed out, a small and mischievous smile forming at his lips. He would force his clothes on this other man if he had to, as it seemed he would graciously accept after a few polite exchanges. "You would be doing me a favor, really. I'm running out of space in my workroom." he shared, attempting to persuade the other man. He avoided blushing at the other man's compliments, silently hoping that they would come to a stop.

His long black hair floated behind him when he turned to look at Neciel. What she was wearing was pretty and well cut, yet he did not have the style of the clothes he had admired in the Captain's wardrobe. Agito's sadness brought a smile to Hyacinthe's lips.

"Sometimes the artist has to bend to the wish of the model." he said softly.

The tailor's sentence surprised Hyacinthe as much as the surprising grin he could now see on the man's thin lips.

"Both?!" he shook his head then raised an eyebrow and leaned forward to Agito, whispering.

"Is that a trick offer?" Why would a total stranger give him previous and gorgeous clothes for free? He probably wanted something, except that Hyacinthe could not figure out what!

"We all bend to the wish of that model." he sighed, looking at the captain with a sort of longing. Had anyone not known their true relationship, they might think Agito to be in love with her; in truth, he was just imagining how lovely all the elegant clothes he made would look on the snowy-haired woman. Breathing in wistfully, he turns his attention back to the man before him.

The surprised look on the other's face caused him to grin, the picture of innocence. "Yes. Both." he responded, his voice smooth and calm. He hadn't expected the other man to be so surprised. Considering his question a moment, he shrugs. "Only if you consider tricking you into taking double is a trick." he responds, speaking slowly. Truly, he wanted nothing at all from the other man; he simply wasn't that type of person.

Hyacinthe followed Agito's gaze. Was there longing in his eyes? Was the pretty man in love with his Captain? So it seemed. The man from the shrine mentally wished luck to Agito.

He sighed at Agito's expression of innocence and his answer.

"I will only accept one...the one of your choice." he answered softly.

Then Hyacinthe strangely felt weak for a second and had to put a hand to the wall to keep his balance. He had been walking for days and his food intake had been reduced. Now in that room filled with people and smelling like delicious food, he suddenly felt dizzy.

"I think...I need to eat something..." he said with a faint and embarrassed voice.
PostPosted: Sat Jul 02, 2011 12:20 pm

Frowning at the man's response, Agito's eyes narrow ever so slightly. He would win out with this man, one way or another. He was about to speak again when the other man seemed to waver. He stood immediately, ready to catch the effeminate man should the wall not be enough to steady him. Concern overtook the gray-haired man's face, replaced immediately by amusement at the observation spoken aloud. He almost laughed, but managed to stop himself; the embarrassment was clear on the other man's face.

"Of course. I'm sure we can find you something." glancing swiftly about them, he sets off in the direction of the food table. Half way there, he paused, waiting for Hyacinthe to catch up and to make sure he hadn't collapsed yet. Hopefully, he would make it to the table without needing any sort of help.

From across the room, a generic Dawn man grinned. Everything about him was dark; his hair, his skin, his eyes... He would look very much like the Captain's beloved bandit, were it not for his very dark, almost black eyes, and his hair being much shorter. He wore loose black pants, and a collared shirt very close to copper in color. His hair was swept back from his handsome face, and his eyes seemed to lock onto the newcomer the moment he stepped out of the hidden door in that strange robe. He had his suspicions when he first appeared, but it was the robe that had sealed the deal; only the Dawn's resident cross dresser had ever worn such a thing in this castle. He raised an eyebrow as the Captain's guest seemed to stumble, and politely excused himself from the conversation he was taking part in to make his way towards the food table as well. He reached it first, and picked up one of the plates provided to glance at the food set out. He was setting a trap, waiting to see if the man from the mountain shrine would recognize him. Even if he did, the Dawn man did not fear an assault; he was surrounded by his own people, and he doubted the other man would spit on the Captain's hospitality by attacking on of her men.

Was this such a good idea? Jon wasn't so sure as he contemplated the bundle in his arms. He hoped somewhere deep inside that Dae would remain calm with he stuffed toy beside her but considering how much the child enjoyed being the center of attention that was highly unlikely. He took a long drink from his wine before walking in his cat like manner towards where the bassinets rested. Jon looked to the midwife with a bit of unease. "She gets a bit moody sometimes without me or her mother around. I'm afraid that If Dae starts crying Kalina won't be too far from joining her. Just a little caveat."He turned his attention to Dae. "Alright now you be a good girl. Me and your mother won't be too far off so don't be scared okay." He rested the child with her small toy in her basinet with a smile. With any luck things would be more than alright. He knew that the in wanted them to have a break from being parents but was that really a possibility

Puck laughed slightly at the blind girls questioning, "Stick around long enough and you will see Kitten." He winked slightly. "Robin will be successful in his pursuits I'm fairly convinced of it. When was the last time that you saw a male be so persistent. I am willing to pet that little morsel of his has already started to be entranced by his special brand of charm." Despite how often it seemed Claire was running from the boy.

Robin chased down claire as quickly as he could catching his breath behind a laugh. "Okay okay I'll behave. You can't blame me for having a little fun." He stood straight and changed his expression slightly holding out his hand, "In complete seriousness Claire." He took a second to figure out how to word this. "Listen in case you couldn't tell I am not one for all of this formal dribble. So I have to find ways to enjoy these things. Trust me if Mori wasn't family then i wouldn't be here. The way i see it the best way to make it through this night is to find some one whose company I enjoy and stick around them for the night." He extended a hand, perhaps a peace offering for a little while, "So betrothed or not, would you care to allow me to keep you company for the night?" Was he being truthful or was this sudden change just another angle he was trying to play? He would never tell.

Polished black boots with silver adornment clopped at the entrance of the room as a large dark man entered at long last. His braids of hair had been groomed and bulled back allowing them to fall along his back. His facial hair had been trimmed to near perfection. His black pants were tucked into his boots and were adorned with a silver thread that matched the ornate feline belt buckle that seemed to match the clasp on Neciel's bracelet. He wore a white shirt beneath a black vest with silver buttons. On his hip was the ceremonial scimitar that rested in its ornate scabbard as was customary for these events. Slowly the dark man's amber eyes scanned the room looking for the young woman who was to accompany him through the night. He knew well that he was late, but he had had a good reason. For now Nemo gazed at all the extravagance. Well this was lavish indeed.

Having taken a seat to catch her breath, the captain was quite thankful that she had worn the satin slippers currently on her feet instead of her heeled boots. As her short reprieve drew to and end, she knew that there were still many more people to greet, and she still wanted to check in on the center of this whole affair once more, to make sure they weren't too stressed out. She noted Jon slipping into the curtained-off area she had set aside for the babies, and smiled; she had persuaded her most skilled midwife into watching after the children, though it hadn't been too difficult.

Standing once more, the captain prepared herself for Round Two of the party before noticing a very familiar figure standing in the doorway not too far off. Arching both eyebrows, she makes her way towards him from the side, stopping with both hands on her hips only a few feet away. "I'm so glad you could make it, and thank you so much for coming." she started, sarcasm dripping from her very words. "There's food on the far wall, and any gifts for the family are to be placed in the back corner. We ask that you steer clear of the curtained-off corner, and keep your voices down when near it." she was being overly formal, even more so than she had been with her own people. She wasn't happy that he was so late, but this was not the place to openly berate him.

The old woman in the curtains smiled at the new father when he entered the area, looking very much like a doting grandmother. Phresine had agreed to look after the babies while their parents were at the party, should they choose to leave them with her. Listening carefully to the father as he shared the details on the daughter in his arms, she nodded agreeably. "You can trust them with me, dear. I will take good care of them." she smiled again, ever the sweet old lady. "I will have someone send for you should it be necessary."

Nemo looked down upon his companion, "My my my so formal now are we?" It really was his own fault for being late. He had had a feeling that she was not going to take well to his tardiness. "Forgive my lateness my dear and trust that it was by far necessary" He reached into a pocket and pulled from it a small wooden box held shut by a gold clasp adorned with numerous carvings that had been burned in order to better show the patterns. "Proper gifts are sometimes difficult to come across. Especially on such special occasions." He slipped the item back in his pocket planning to deliver it personally later, "Besides had I rushed I would not have been able to compliment you so well tonight. Despite what people think men have to go through a great deal in order to make sure that their companions are shown off in the best manor possible." He raised his hand from his side toward her as if to take hers, "Now my dear, lets drop all of these cursed formalities and proceed through this hand in hand, arm and arm, as it should be."

Resisting the strong urge to glare at him, the captain didn't move at first. "One of these days, Mister Blackheart, you will run out of excuses." she warned him, looking almost amused at the thought. Sighing in defeat, she finally raised her arm to take his hand; she knew quite well how much she wanted to play at being social on her lonesome. Plunging back into the crowd, the captain nearly forgot to address one thing, "And you may as well keep your compliments to yourself. You should know quite well by now that flattery will get you nowhere." she informed him, holding out hope that he wouldn't comment on her appearance at all; she didn't like being reminded that she was in a dress, and she had grown tired of the challenging look she used when the subject was brought up. In truth, she wasn't sure if the look would work on her companion at all; he didn't seem to have the proper amount of fear in him for it's full effect.

Nemo took her hand into his And stayed close as they walked, "No fear my dear. No compliments shall issue forth from my mouth. Besides you already know how beautiful you look this evening." There was a mischievous glisten in his eye with these words. He seemed to enjoy defying the woman every now and then just to see her reactions. His eyes lacked focus however. They darted from place to place noting faces both familiar and foreign to him. He focused for a moment and stopped his mind from latching onto the thoughts of others. There were far to many thoughts floating around the room for him to deal with the clamor inside his head. He could care less what most of these people here thought about this event and the children it circled around. Actually he couldn't really care less what most of the people here thought on a regular basis.
