Snarled Zinkenite, as glad as he was to be out of the "Goldjaw" costume...whatever the dickens THAT was from, thank you Demi and your very odd costume choices, he was already brimming with frustration at the mad BRAWL that had already started.
He slipped some of his smoke bombs out of his pocket and not so discretely tossed them towards the on comers to try and slow them down.

-Aitana had been of the impression at first.. that the whole thing was some ******** fantastically elaborate trick that the ball organizers had set up. Her eyes had been wide and curious, amused even as the event unfolded. But it had quickly become obvious that this was not the case.
The sudden explosion of youma, senshi, and negaverse agents appearing from every corner of the ballroom alerted her to the seriousness of the situation. Even as totally unexperienced as she was, Aitana was able to put together the pieces.
It wasn't her princess' request, but she imagined she'd have been urged to help had her princess been around. Escaping in the clutter Sailor Juno powered up for only the third time in life, feeling the surge of energy and power ripple through her body. Skidding back into the ballroom she let out a war cry, befitting of her amazonian fuku, that battled against the sheer ruckus of the night. She'd come fists a blazing and wasn't about to let anyone stop her.-
((If anyone wants to fight just lemme know ;D I'm open with both, but Juno would be particularly physical))

Lumiere was already out on the balcony, where anyone was hardly to be seen-- but that didn't mean she didn't catch the sight going on in the ball room. Ducking behind a wall, Lumiere disappeared and Sailor Aeria appeared in her place, eagerly leaving the poorly brewed tea.
Imbecile civilians couldn't get out of the way fast enough. But Lumiere didn't quite know why she was heading into the rush that every other senshi and negaverse in the room was trying to go for (sheesh, was the whole population powered up?) but she knew that every fiber of her being called out to grab the crystal urgently. If she didn't get it, some other senshi might get it perhaps.. But it wasn't a chance she wanted to take.
A rush, like never before, filled Lumiere, the light of the crystal seeming to make her heartbeat race even further. What.. was this? She didn't like the feeling of urgency and haste but it was ingrained in her, unwillingly there but it couldn't be ignored.

So close. So close.
Zinkenite had been so close that he could feel the Crystal, really feel it: not just its smooth surface, but the indescribable, sweet power that rested within. If only -- and it seemed some deep, dark instinct was telling him this -- if only he'd had just another second with it, he could have had that power for himself. For the Negaverse. For himself.
But in the same instant he'd had it in his fingers, it was gone, a fuku of burnt umber and bright orange to blame. Even in a time of crisis, Sailor Gunn couldn't help but pause and be amaze that she'd actually been able to catch it... and then that instant was just enough for Scheelite to rush in, enraged that someone would touch a hair on his vertically-challenged partner.
Unfortunately for Scheelite, his efforts were a little clumsy. He managed to knock the Crystal up and out of Gunn's hands, where it landed in a lit candleabra at the far end of the room.

Mama.
It looked like mama, but wasn't quite mama, she was certain of that. No, that was a scion of the moon, but it wasn't her mother. The touch of the hand brought tears to Chibiusa's eyes, and had her looking at Serenade curiously. What was it about that girl that got the blessing of the Queen as well? Perhaps it was just that she was a nice girl?
Either way, Coralie was forced to look at Serenade for a long moment before taking her by the hand and running into the crowd before letting her fingers 'slip' in the pull of bodies streaming from the ballroom. She pushed through and all but slid beneath a table, sighing more than a bit at the lack of dignity that was required to hide your civilian identity. Everyone was going to feel what she was about to do anyway there didn't seem a whole lot of point in hiding it.
Moon Crisis Power, Make Up!
"Moon Tiara Magic!" The fabric of the tablecloth parted neatly as she aimed straight for the youma bearing down on the power generated from her transformation. It gave her the time needed to dash for the crystal, yelling out. "In the name of the Moon, that is mine!" Apparently, Black Lady's tendencies were not all entirely unique to her!

Okay, so she was making a beeline for crystal but the smoke bomb in her way definitely was the most annoying thing ever. And she knew exactly where it came from. Perseus saw the flash of bright blue and black in front of her and immediately recognized the colors of Zinkenite. She didn't see the change in uniform in her haste, but it was just enough to make her angry.
If he wanted to interfere, then so would she! Grabbing several smoke pellets from the knot in her senshi bow, she flung them in the captains direction, hoping to give the negaverser a taste of his own medicine while barely stopping forward motion.

"THE HELL IT IS!!" Snapped Zink and charged after that precious crystal. He had been SO CLOSE... So close he could still feel it on his finger tips. DAMN that senshi b***h, once that crystal was secure he'd...
Never mind that now... He had to get it again!!

His efforts however were impeded, smoke bombs...of all the lousy, and he knew just who'd thrown them too, Ooooo he'd find her when this was over too!

"Dammit..!" Seth said having fallen to the ground when an unexpected youma jumped him, with no amount of patience as the youma latched onto his arm. The creature began to gnaw on the tender flesh. As far as he knew, youma were on their side. But as chaos erupted, so had the youma and any sense that they had left.
"I have had just about enough." Seth said in an extremely cold voice, summoning his strength to get up and toss the youma back. They had to deal with their queen, the senshi, the crystal, and the youma as well? His patience was already reaching his limits, with the costume, and now their unexpected order and pandemonium.
He looked around, sliding out of a broken window. He switched seamlessly into his negaverse persona, climbing back in through the same exit now being used as an entrance. He saw the crystal in the far end of the room, his feet covering a vast distance as he similarly tried for the crystal.
(Would love for battles as well, feel free to interrupt him guys! <3 )

s**t, a lower quota for a -month-? He could get a lot done in that time! He wouldn't slack, naaaah, but a lower quota would at least give him some leeway.
Of course, he had to get his hands on that damn crystal first. Which of course meant he had to keep the <******** senshi from touching his partner. Damnit, they had had it! SO DAMN ******** Zink!"
And with that he dashed away, heading towards the lit canleabra and the prize. He wanted that crystal, needed that crystal. Needed it to the point that when his path took him near Uranophane he stopped long enough to sabotage her from beating him to it.
...By ripping the goggles right off her head and tossing them as far away from the place the crystal lie as possible.

Perseus looked up just in time to see the crystal get flung to the corner of the room. "********!" The senshi skidded on her boot heels, making a hasty turn for the candelabra, attempting to grab onto the shining crystal before anyone else could.
She didn't know why she was getting this crystal, only that she should! It was like a very intense game of good vs evil hot potato, where the potato was actually some mysteriously powerful crystal.
Only in Destiny City.

Sailor Nemesis really did not have time to deal with this, she wanted to beat the Negaverser's face in, but as soon as she had thrown her punch the crystal, her objective, had moved again. Two Negaversers had almost claimed it, and ******** if she'd let that happen on her watch. Right, she didn't have time to fight, she only had time to retrieve that god-be-damned crystal. Of course, she couldn't depart without a curt, "******** you," and a flip of her middle finger. With that said, she quickly dodged to the side, trying to get away from the Negaverser and instead to the red crystal.
It was up high, and she had a way to go to get to it, but progress would be made. She had to do this, she had to get that crystal for whatever reason that was propelling her now. Any other thoughts were shoved to the back of her mind. She'd worry about other s**t later.

Luke had just been about to meet Kaatje in costume as well, about to eagerly dash for her when the explosion sounded. He couldn't ask for one night -- not one night -- to skip being a senshi. But on the bright side, it certainly made the party.. quite interesting.
In the midst of the commotion, Luke hoped nobody noticed Alice crawling under a chair. Taking his henshin pen from behind the cloth in front of his chest (he thought he'd try the money in the breasts method for females) and transformed.
He was struggling through the crowd of racing characters when he spotted Gunn in the crowd as well. She was headed to the source of commotion-- that crystal? It looked valuable--- it looked awesome. He was already racing for the crystal as well when he wondered one key question.
Why was he taking so much trouble for a freakin' crystal?
Yet if almost every single powered teenager in the room was racing for it, it must be awesome inside and out.

In the midst of trashing a youma, Bellatrix saw the crystal's flight. Blue eyes widening, and the words from the vision ringing through her head, she attempted a go for it. Adrenaline might as well have been a synonym for the heartfelt dedication that had ignited at the vision of their princess. In the midst of her rush, Chibimoon caught Bellatrix's attention. She had....something, some similar aura of sorts, like that she felt from the vision of the princess...or what she'd thought was the princess. Even if Bell couldn't get the crystal, Chibimoon she determined, she'd keep an eye on. Have her back if need be. For now, she had to try to get that crystal--

Oh, damn, damn, damn!
More words not in Rosalind's vocabulary. But someone had stepped on her gloved hand, and Rosalind began to feel a little bit too hot for her own good. If she could have seen what she looked like, her cheeks were rosy red-- moreso than usual.
As she frantically searched about, the crystal seemed to fly on its own-- like one of those magical Harry Potter sport-balls that she saw in the movies (she didn't read the books)-- from a Negaverser, to a senshi, and back into the air. Her heart was playing along with the crystal-- when it looked as if the senshi were winning, her heart fluttered. When it looked like the Negaverse was winning, well... It sank.
Rosalind became resolute in obtaining crystal. It was in lit fire, but you know what? The senshi were clearly superior. The Soldier of Wealth wouldn't lose-- she'd show all of them (not just the Queen!) how wonderful she was! She pulled one of her solid gold shoes off, kept it in the hand that wasn't injured, and was prepared to scoop the crystal out of the fire with it. Although her shoe might be tarnished afterwards, who cared?? The magical clothes always looked fresh and new with each power-up, anyways.
The brunette flipped her hair back, breathed out an air of confidence, and dashed towards the candelabra as fast as she could.

Gunn cursed, lifting a hand to punch the blonde Negaverser in the face; but she was distracted halfway through by where the Crystal had landed. In the candelabra? It might as well have landed right back in her hands! She was grinning as she redirected herself, because damn, there was fire.
Also, she was not the smartest senshi in the world. "Gunn Wildfire Voracious Propagation," she cried, gesturing; the flames of the candelabra lit up, consuming the wax almost instantly. Hopefully it would be enough to keep others away from that Crystal.
Unfortunately, every other source of fire in the area also increased in size. It was not a pretty sight.
