TawnyAngel Blast. Skiron couldn't keep this up forever; several powerful attacks on top of paralysis were clearly wearing on the ice type. Scowling slightly Frost weighed up his options, swiftly coming to a conclusion that the battle needed to end before he worried about getting extra pokemon. He did want to impress his superiors, but keeping Skiron safe was more important. Decision made Frost put two fingers in his mouth and gave a piercing whistle before calling; "Alpha; here!"
His muscles were screaming at him, every movement was far more difficult than it ought to be, and so it was something of a relief to Skiron when that signal was given. A sharp whistle: break normal combat. Alpha: the enemy's current pokeball. Here: get it to his master. He could do that. He hoped.
Snarling furiously, Skiron feinted towards the pikachu for a moment before turning and leaping at the young trainer. Clawing at the boy's hand, he attempted to get his jaws around the pikachu's pokeball before beating a retreat to Frost's side with another Quick Attack. If he could get that done, the electric type threat would be gone... but then there were the other pokeballs. He would have to get hold of them too. He couldn't last out in a fair fight against a fresh adversary, unless they were very weak that was. The kid was angry now. That Glaceon had ripped his shorts! This was a high offense. "Sparky Quick Attack!" The Pikachu bristled as Skiron came at him, rushing forward in the attack just before the ice type changed direction and lept at his trainer. "OW!" The boy shrieked, claws raking his fingers and causing him to drop the pokeball, leaving him bleeding. "Agh... hey that's mine! Give it back!" Skidding to a stop, Sparky turned around and dashed over between the boy and the thieving Glaceon, snarling angrily.

Skidding to a stop, Sparky turned around and dashed over between the boy and the thieving Glaceon, snarling angrily. Skion, however, had no more interest in his opponent. Instead he focused his gaze on the pikachu's pokeball and made a dive for it, bracing himself for anything the rat might throw at him. Grasping the pokeball in his jaws, the ice type spun around and tried to retreat back to Frost with a Quick Attack.
Frost was beginning to become aware of time. He had hoped to make a neat snatch and grab, to be one of the first to return... At this rate, he was going to be last. If he was going to be last, he wanted to have more than one pokemon to show for it. Right. If Skiron could get that pokeball to it he could recall the pikachu, and then send Skion after the remaining balls... Skiron was probably not up to another battle. He might well have to threaten to shoot the idiot young trainer. Not as... neat as he might have liked, but sometimes you couldn't win out by wit and skill. Sometimes you just had to threaten to blow holes in your enemies.
Still, there was a chance that the boy would be slow to react, and that Skiron could collect the other pokeballs... Humm, or he could have Skiron attack the trainer while he went after the balls. Yes. That sounded better. Another Quick Attack over to the annoying child, some snarling and biting, he'd gather up the pokeballs and then they could chase the boy away and head off. Sounded reasonable. He hoped it worked out better than the rest of this encounter had so far.

"You'll pay for this!" Sparky was rightly pissed for his ball was in the hands of someone else. He wouldn't stand for that! "CHU!" the electric mouse shouted, just as Skiron made to attack his trainer. Another thunderbolt was sent at the icy eeveelution. The kid put up his arms in an attempt to defend himself from the biting Pokemon. "Agh! Get away from me!" He then turned and started to make a run for it, the Pikachu following close behind.

Rocket Agent Seth The kid gripped his bleeding hand and winced, while glaring at the Rocket and his Glaceon. Running? Well, that would do. Frost raised the pikachu's pokeball and aimed it at the retreating electric type. "Return," he called impassively as the red beam of light sprung forwards. This done, the Rocket hastened forward and swiftly scooped up everything that had fallen out of the young trainer's pockets. Looked like just about time to head back...
Skiron was swaying on his paws; it looked like that last Thunderbolt had almost knocked him out. As the glaceon staggered towards him, Frost knelt down to stroke the ice type's head gently before murmuring; "Return," and calling his partner back inside his luxury ball. This done, he turned and set off in search of the other Rockets; he would investigate his haul when he arrived.

The kid had fled, but it took him a few minutes to realize that his Pikachu was gone. By then it was too late.
By the time Frost got back, Seth had climbed down from his look out spot and was standing at the base of the tree with a sack filled with the pokeballs the others had brought back.

"Sir," Frost saluted his superior officer as he approached the group, "one pikachu for certain, I still need to investigate the others." If there was nothing better than the yellow rat he might keep it in the hopes of trading it, but he wasn't interested in it for its own sake. Still, the sooner the others were looked at the better.
First things first, Frost let Skiron out of his pokeball and gave him a potion and a quick blast of paralyze heal. If any of the boy's pokémon turned out to be aggressive, he didn't want to need rescuing by one of the others.
Now onto the haul. Frost first checked how many pokeballs there actually were (he hadn't really more than glanced at them when he'd grabbed them), and how many of those had occupants, before releasing the first of them.
By his side, Skiron stood poised for action; the ice type knew as well as his master that you could never be too careful.

Seth folded his arms and glared at Frost as he first stopped to heal his Glaceon.
"We don't have all day, Grunt." He said impatiently.
When the first pokeball's button was pushed, nothing happened. It was empty. As would the others be except the Pikachu's.
Seth was not impressed.

Frost gave a slight shrug, you couldn't win every time, and held the pikachu's pokeball out to Seth. "Apparently no more time is required, and I do not require this pokemon. It is of not interest to me, I hope that it may be of some use to the organization as a whole." Perhaps he could have swapped it for something more interesting with one of the others, but given it was the only thing he'd managed to get hold of other than a bunch of empty pokeballs he was content to hand it over...
He was fairly certain that Seth was Not Pleased. Much as he wished he could have made a better first impression, he was at least grateful to have a superior officer who was easy to read; that was extremely useful.
Glad to be free of paralysis and pain Skiron rubbed against his master's legs, and looked steadily up at the human who was speaking to him. Frost was handing them their prize. This one was above them then... For now.

Seth simply took the Pikachu's ball and stuck it in the bag with the rest without a word directly to Frost. However, he did turn to address the group as a whole, taking a few steps forwards as he raised his voice to get their attention.
The man folded his arms and scowled.
"You're all lucky this was just a training exercise. I was watching each of you, and I didn't like what I saw."
Critique time.

Well, he wasn't entirely surprised, he hadn't been overwhelmed by his performance himself. It would be interesting to hear if Seth had anything to say about any of the others though; any mistakes he could learn from second hand were ones he could avoid himself... And he had to confess that there was a small, petty part of him that wanted to hear about the imperfections of his fellows. Maybe not the tiny, pink-eyed trainee though; she had seemed alright when he'd run into her down by the pool.

Aila stood from the seat she had taken on the ground when the last of the entourage made his return and Seth addressed the group. His phrasing indicated an intent to evaluate their performances individually, and the girl was somewhat enticed by the prospect of feedback on her performance. She had spent her down time going over and over her decisions and how they affected her situation and had concluded that she had done fairly well, save for the painful mishap with the Lairon. The former thief found little comfort in self-critique, though, and so she awaited the words of her superior.

When Seth addressed the group at the returning of what she guessed was the last rocket. In turn, she pulled out each of her Pokemon's pokeball's returning her newly revived and cured Pokemon and placing them back onto the holding belt. She left the Charmeleon ball on the ground with her bag and burnt glove by her feet.
She blinked when Seth voiced displeasure for what he witnessed. This was going to be the hardest part, but like everything, it was a learning experience, that would only help them to improve. Almost holding her breath, she folded her hands behind her back and paid attention.

Claire paid little attention to the blond man who returned last, that is until Seth voiced his displeasure with the group as a whole, and it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out he was about to nitpick every little thing he thought each of them did wrong. Whether or not they'd really done everything quite as terribly as he would inevitably say remained to be seen. Be that as it may, the criticism would be good overall, and she'd make sure to work on everything she'd done wrong so she would do it absolutely perfectly next time. It still irked her, however, that she hadn't done it perfectly this time.
The thought process took but a second or two before the grunt quickly slid up to her peers, offering a salute as she did so. The tree she'd been leaning on until a few moments ago had been quite comfortable, despite Zeus constantly tugging on her pant leg, demanding his rewards. In response, she'd called him back into his pokeball, and stuffed it into her bag with the others. Now was not the time for cookies.

Seeing that he had the attention of all of them, Seth folded his arms and turned his gaze on each one as he spoke.
"Don't let it go to your thick heads that all of you got results. I picked one of the easier routes on purpose. Had this been for real, each of you would have failed spectacularly! Not to mention some of you are rather poor at picking your targets."
That last comment was particularly directed at Claire as Seth shot a glare in her direction. "Six Pidgeys are little more than fodder. Team Rocket aims to take rare and unusual Pokemon, not the scum of the forest."
Next his attention was turned to Faleen. "Some of you are far too ambitious and stupid, and nearly got yourself seriously injured. Its mistakes like that that lead to fatalities on raids."
Then Seth's scowling gaze went towards Aila. "Others need new strategies. Simply because it works, doesn't mean it will in all situations. Sleep powder is the oldest trick in the book." After all, Seth would know... Aila had tried it on him before.
Seth then continued to address the group as a whole, his voice taking on a more agitated tone. "However, there was one mistake that all of you managed to make."

Claire's face remained impassive as she listened, despite the fact her thoughts were raging like giant killer bees on steroids. Really? Was that all he had to offer for her situation? She'd been inwardly berating herself for getting only Pidgey, but she still stood by her thoughts earlier - the girl could just as well have had uncommon birds, or at the very least a Pidgeotto or something. Claire did not have time to be picky with her targets, did not have t ime to waltz around and find one with the best pokemon and target that trainer. She did the best she could with what little time she had been given.
It still didn't stop her from still being thoroughly pissed at herself though.
At his mention of something everyone did wrong, however, she couldn't help but perk her ears. What was it that all of them had done so horribly?
