With the blade near to it, the body exploded into a hail of kunai in every direction. (Bakuretsu Koinu - Exploding Puppy) Traps... everywhere! A shadow ducked out through the remaining door to the hallway beyond, beyond the sight of the room, while a right arm twitched, sizzled, & then poofed into the scent of flowers, its golden aura fading to a normal yellow. Anyone peering down the length of the hallway to the corner at the end would see slight bumps throughout, upon the walls, the ceiling, & even the floor, all nearly indistinguishable with the natural bumps from the rock. It would be a good idea to distance one's self from the chakra draining room--& the toads' passed out heaps--but then again...

The spire hit the floor of the room and the crystal user let out a crazed bellow of anguish. She fell from her hiding spot and dispersed the giant crystal, sealing it away in a panic. She stood panting over the flowers, very few of which had been destroyed. Nevertheless, another thin layer of pollen rose in to the air and started to form a body in the same way as before: it would probe the minds in the base for a form, and then take it.

Howaido was luckily safe inside of Gamatatsu but the toads had not faired so well, he had to send them off. He landed ways away and formed a Hatake clone to patrol the hall in front of him as he stood in the door way just outside of the chakra absorbing room. The clone went down the hallway as Howaido regenerated his chakra as well as he could.

San felt his mind slightly probed, the thoughts of his brother jin, who was in combat outside the fortress, being pulled from his brain. the flowers.....In a made rush, San quickly ran to the forming body, careful to avoid the flowers, and formed a lightning blade with a length of 12 inches of his right two fingers. In a hack and slash motion, San ran the blade through the forming body well away from the flowers. In a single, guteral tone, san spoke one clear concise word while shaking his head.
"No...."
He would not allow this to happen, especially not his brother jin. ******** ******** IBD.....

The forming body fell to pieces, leaving only the frantically panicking crystal user. She was not panicking about San, though; rather, she was frantically using Suiton techniques to summon up water for the flowers. She was watering the flowers in the middle of a battle, almost as if her life depended on it. As a result, the energies of the plants strengthened and their glows intensified.

The Suna-nin's clone was a good choice, comparatively, to other means of traveling. The Kekkai Houjin (Barrier Method Battle Array) activated the latent Fuuinjutsu, Kekkai Houin (Barrier Sealing), sealing the Suna-nins inside the hallway & room with quite the considerable amount of chakra. Neither combatant of the fight would be moving around any time soon, but at least the Suna-nin would be well enough away from the terrible draining Skiski rocks to recover what chakra he could muster for the fights ahead.

With a quick, unrelenting motion, San used his left Hand to grab a 2 Kunai and launched them at the crystal user, one for each eye. the speed and momentum of the kunai would carry them through the eyes into the brain and lodged into the back of the skull. San was running quickly to folow up, incase by some miracle this failed....

Howaido sighed as events folded into place, his clone continuing on, the Hatake Bunshin might be of use to scout while he was trapped and recovering his chakra at ease within the halls, but still on alert.

The two Kunai pierced the crystal user's skull, but did not kill her. It stopped her movements, but her body was slowly reforming. Her arms were limp, but they were still arms, if a bit golden.

San stuck his blade into the neck of the limp body, and dragged it down the line of the spine careful not to go through to the flowers. Then he cut off the limbs, and ran zig zag's through the body, the temperature and chakra nature definately doing damage to the body.

The body froze, and then faded to a golden color, and then to yellow. The limbs fell off and the head rolled across the floor. Every part of the body faded and dissolved until there was nothing left but a yellow-gold pile of a sandy substance on the floor. In addition, the crystals were no more.

San kept his attention vigilant, but it seemed he had eliminated his target. Hopefully, it was one less to deal with when they meet their primary objective. San spoke to Howaido through the bonds golem, as he took a moment to relax and try to recover some chakra.

Howaido had closed his eyes when he heard Sans voice in his head he smiled a little,"Just taking a break, seems after I defeated my opponent he intended to trap me in a room that saps chakra, but I walked the hall with a clone ahead and tripped his fuuinjutsu the wrong way as to my advantage. Ilost my clone and Im sealed in the hall till you can get around to me, but the good news is Im alone and nothing can get in, so I can restore my chakra and physical weakness with some rest for a moment." He checked everything as he stopped a moment then replied,"How is it on your end, I assume you won?"

San replied, Walking down the hallway in the direction of howaido while speaking through the bonds golem.
"The crystal was not as troubling as the fire juggler or the dust user, but was still rather powerful. Beware of the flowers. If you break them they probe your mind. Its not a good thingfor us...."
