 ✪ ✪Lirian Wolfe✪✪ ✪✪✪Lirian looked around the square. A festival? Fun! She was enjoying the sights, and dragging her cousin around with her. He probably wouldn't have come if she hadn't dragged him along with her, but that was Ari for you. She had also entered in the contest, she didn't think she would win, as she was so new, but it seemed fun regardless! ✪✪✪--- --- --- --- ---  ✪✪ ✪Ari Kynn✪✪ ✪✪✪ ✪Ari sighed and let Lirian drag him around. He didn't particularly mind coming, so it wasn't a big deal. His sword was strapped to his back, under his jacket, like Lirian's. Apparently she had heard a rumor about not being allowed to keep their swords, so she wanted him to keep his hidden as well, so he did. He didn't want to loose his sword either. He entered the contest as well, though he had no idea what the prize was, and Lirian probably didn't either. Ah well. ✪✪ ✪ Nominees:

Celeste turned so that she could follow the direction of Freja's finger as she pointed to the shop. However, she couldn;t see much beyond the rather large decorations that seemed to be right in the way. Just like Freja had said. It was no wonder the woman couldn't get to work. Those decorations looked pretty formidable and unless Freja was prepared to hack her way through with a machete she wasn't getting to work anytime soon.
Celeste nodded as she tuned back to Freja. "Ah, I see what you mean about not being able to make it to your store. Oh wait... your shop... as in you own it?" Celeste asked with a heavy dose of awe. "Woah. That's got to be a lot of work..." So it may have been a tad bit insulting, but Celeste was surprised and very impressed that such a shy woman had her own business. And she really meant no insult behind it... Freja just seemed to young and innocent to own a business. "What kind of shop is it? Maybe I can stop by someday... Now that i know where it is I should be able to find it again... I mean... my sense of direction isn't that bad." She said excitedly. She liked the idea of seeing Freja at work. For a moment there the girl had seemed a little more confident...

Not today!" continued Blaire practically dragging Conor into the festival grounds. Really! All the guy did was mope in a corner! Oh and eat... and barely... she had to keep bothering him to do it. Sure she understood, a little, but he couldn't keep like this! It was... pretty sad actually. Now that he was crashing at her house, the two had gotten a little, just a little, bit more used to each other's presence. What that means is that they could look at each other for more than two seconds without becoming blubbering fools. Aside from that it was still the same. It took her a bit, but she finally managed to convince Conor to go out with her.Ah the goddess festival~ Hayden had taken a liking to this day actually. Yes it was a popularity contest to be honest, but... let him love the day. The blond walked to the area, glancing around and idly wondering who'd be participating this year.Back on duty~ Rachel smiled as she patrolled the festival grounds with Sophia by her side. Oh being holed up wasn't really good for her. Maybe she should've tried getting drunk at the club... instead of at home. For next time she figured. Camelia couldn't stop laughing at earlier's display. She had only asked Lucas about going to a festival, and he just hid in his room. He still wasn't completely over the cooking festival. Cam felt for him... in an alternate universe. In this one, she made fun of him and left him alone at home to come to the festival. She wondered what it was about, but figured it'd be better than spending the night inside. Lucas had said something about voting for a king and goddess...  x████████xGEM and MATT and BEAx████████x Matthew was quietly discussing what this festival was about, as Gemma listened intently. Really, she dragged him to all the festivals this year! It's not like she minded, and he really needed to get out more often. "So, in any case, it's practically a set-up for a blind date?" Gemma asked, making a face. That wasn't any good at all! If someone dated, it had to be with someone they would like... not by some chance crap! Last time Gemma went on a blind date, she was not even surprised it was with her co-worker, who was a close friend at the time. Awkwardness ensued.
"I don't make the rules, Gemma." Matthew sighed impatiently, why did she have to de-construct a Festival down to a prom-like blind date event? She could at least be decent enough not to say it out loud! If one of the natives heard, they'd be pissed at her insensitivity.
However, Gemma was rather interested to see how this would play out. It didn't seem fun, but she wondered what was the end goal for this whole event. Otherwise, it would be an total and utter waste of time!

Bela sauntered into the scene, rather pissed. She had offered Alice to come, but the woman refused. But Godess, she didn't have to be such a b***h about it! She saw a few familiar faces, including Gladice, Matt, that weird girl(Gemma), that other girl she didn't know well(Celeste), Xeiro, Mitsuki, the albino(Rayden), that orange haired shrew(Nanami) and Haruka. Wow, she knew quite a bit of people, actually! And she complained about having no social life. She counted, at least, more than a handful!
Instead of going instantly to Xeiro, or Matt. She went toward Gladice, a sweet smile on her lips. "Gladice!" Bela greeted, like if they were the best of friends. As if it weren't the fact that they only really met up and chatted during festivals! "It's been such a long time, how nice to see you. You don't look a day older than the first time I saw you!" Bela said, her voice oozing friendliness.
If only Bela knew that the customer Xeiro and she had scared off was Gladice, and the opposite, as well! Oh, yes. Bela kept up her act of sweet, classy girl around Gladice. And the elderly lady was never the wiser...

✪ ✪Lirian Wolfe✪✪ ✪✪✪Lirian smiled and turned to Ari. "I'm gonna go explore for a while, kay?" She said, before darting off. She didn't know anyone here, and she wanted to meet some people. Lirian had a rather friendly demeanor, but people wouldn't recognize her, she was pretty unique looking with her long, caramel hair.

His red hair was flicked slightly by the wind, but not much. He saw some of the decorations were hand made though, that was pretty cool. A lot of effort must have gone into making this festival... ✪✪ ✪

The old woman was still busy.... well.. truth to be told, she wasn't busy at all. In fact, she was getting bored out of her mind! She was too old for that kind of Festvial. That was for the young people, not for her. She was only here to make sure Gaston didn't pull anything really stupid like she knew he would pull if she wasn't there. Last rumours in the Government Offices were that he wanted to use real people from the island to make a naked statue of them peeing to replace the old fountain. So far as she knew, it could easily be the Harvest Goddess and King..."Oh! Hi! Bela! Long time no see." She had seen her the previous week. She just didn't knew it. [colour=darkred]"Oh, come on. Don't be silly, girl. It's just that at my age, there's so many wrinkles that you don't know which ones weren't there yesterday." Said the old woman, waving her hands in front of her. Young people didn't need to be polite with her. Hiding behind their good manners. Of course, she would slam her cane on the head of anyone not doing it. Rude people! Didn't they learn good manners? Uhmph! "So, tell me, how are you doing? Having fun? I hope so, because, between you and me, this is absolutely boring. Just people acting like teenagers at the end of the year ball. Oh, I shouldn't complain to you. You are still young. You shouldn't waste your time speaking to this old lady."

A festival? My very first! She gazed around the square. Looks fun! I wonder who I should nominate? I don't know much people here. She took a stroll around, looking at everything. I know! She thought as she walked. I'll nominate my brother! Since I don't know anyone else and I surely won't nominate myself. She threw her hand into her coat pocket to look for her hair clip and used it to push back some of her black hair that was dangling in front of her face. That's better. She said.

✪ ✪Lirian Wolfe✪✪ ✪✪✪Felt someone bump into her, and moved back a step. It was a girl, with a yellow dress and brown hair. The girl greeted her, and Lirian smiled. "My name's Lirian, nice to meet you." She said, grinning. "I'm the new Veterinarian." She said happily. Lirian was wearing a white, button up shirt, and a tan jacket that was a bit too big. She was also wearing blue jeans. ✪✪✪

She leaned over to Gladice to whisper to her then, partially covering the side of her face so that no one could read her lips or anything... hey, there were probably people who did! "I'm actually hiding from that young man over there, because he has a dreadful infatuation with me." Bela giggled, pointing at Xeiro. "See? That tall one, very muscular." Bela explained, quickly lowering the hand that she was using to point.
"Well, I've heard good things about his Bakery, but I'm not sure if I should just go on a date with him and get it over with... but, you know how us girls are." Bela winked at the older woman, the old coot probably knew more about it than her! Bela loved twisting up lies and stories, especially if they worked out for her benefit. She only knew so much about Xeiro, maybe Gladice could tell her how he is outside of his time with Bela. "Have you heard anything about that place, the Bakery? I haven't gone myself, I've been very busy."

Amanda Hope O'Conner♥ ♥ ♥ Amanda grinned at the girl when she said she was the new Vet. "Ah so you'll be in the capable hands of Crimson and Celeste over at the clinic. Both are very kind and Crimson's really knowledgeable about all sorts of animals. I have an appointment there in a few days acctually." Thinking about it Amanda's mind drifted slightly and remembered the appointment the following week. "It also seems that I have to follow up with Crimson about taking some pictures of everyone working there." Arching an eyebrow slightly Amanda took notice of the plain white top and large jacket. She would have to somehow suggest something with a bit more color into the girl's outfits. Pictures look better with color!

✪ ✪Lirian Wolfe✪✪ ✪✪✪Lirian agreed. "Yeah, Celeste and Crimson are both really nice." She then listened to the girl say that she would be taking pictures. "Oh, then I'll have to wear something fun. I have a tie with dinosaurs on it..." She said, thinking aloud. She wore plain clothes, but she had colorful ones too, it just depended on the day really. It was warm outside today, so she wore light clothes. Well, that, and she needed the jacket to conceal her sword. It was strapped to her back, as it usually was. ✪✪✪

 The old woman rolled her eyes at the mention of Gaston and left out a little noise to reveal her not-so-hidden annoyance of the mayor. She could only fear the day she would die. The island would become chaos. Mayne Judith would step in.... but would that really be better? She doubted it. "Well, I have to thank you for being so considerate. I do need something to change my mind. Thinking too much of him will make me die faster." She shook her head, having already came to the conclusion that Gaston would be responsible for her death one way or an other. Then again, she survived the masquerade....
Glaidice turned around to look in the direction Bela was pointing. She had to admit, the man was nice on the eyes, but she doubted he would be nice on the soul. Then again, she wasn't Bela. Youngsters theses days were looking for something else than people of her generations had been looking for. She couldn't really blame Bela for liking the barboy type, now could she? No, she could just pity her in silence and pray for her at the church. That was good enough. "Oh dear, you cannot hide anything from me. Just the way you're looking at him makes it clear that you wish he'd find you!" She might have been old, but she wasn't born yesterday! ...Wait, that didn't make sense.. whatever.
"Wait, he owns the bakery?" She asked in shock. She made a small frown as she looked back toward the man. Was he the one from the other day? It was hard to tell. She hadn't stayed long enough to take a good look at him! She was too busy being scandalized and running away. "Well, I've heard that their pastries were really good, but I wouldn't go there any day soon! Just the other day, two employees were fornicating on the tables, right in the middle of the dinning area!" She stated, still in awe of what she had seen. She then cough and went on. "Okay, okay, maybe not. It had happen a bit too fast.... but something improper was happening, or about to happen, that was for sure!"

Amanda Hope O'Conner♥ ♥ ♥ Amanda smiled at Lirian's comment about her tie. "Oh how fun! A tie with dinosaurs is too cute. I'm more of color girl. I absolutly love bright colors. If you paired your dino tie with a pair of skinny's and white button down like you have on today with the sleeves rolled some it would look adorable!" Blushing slightly Amanda stammered, "Oh I didn't mean to make it sound like you can't dress yourself, I minored in fashion design in college so it's second nature to me now to think about cute outfits for any picture that I might take." Blushing she smiled and took out her Nikon D3100 camera and decided it was time to take a few pictures so she could stop embarrassing herself. "Do you want to wonder with me? I really need to add to my portfolio for on Island candid's." [ Goddess Festival ]
