Ray added his own smile. "Not really. I was looking for my knuckle-headed brother so we could go unpack, but I'm tired of looking for him." He took a seat. "Oh, how rude! I'm Ray!"[/collor] He said, extending his hand.

 Tabby had never met the brothers before so she was sure she didn't know anyone of them. "I'm Tabby. I'm really sorry. But I don't know you or brother." She answered with a smile.

"It's nice to meet you Tabby- Oh, and your little charge." He said, tickling Yvette under the chin. "I wouldn't expect you to know us anyhow; this is our first day here at Reed's." He explained, continuing to tickle the child. He put his blade down behind him.

Yvette smiled as the man notice and started to have giggles with his figures playing with her chin. "I see she's fond of you. I swear she makes for friends than I do." The girl commented.

"She's adorable! She'll grow up to be just as pretty as you one day. I can see it already!" Ray complimented, rubbing the child on the head. "So, what grade are you in?" He questioned, continuing to play with the young child.

Yvette giggled. She liked when people were nice to her and her mommy. "That you. Your words are too kind. I'm a sophomore in high school." The girl answered.

"Only in high school? Really? You look a few years older... Then again, you'd be her age too... He said, looking away, deep in thought. He then turned back. "This is an odd question, but do you know anyone with a butterfly-shaped birthmark?" He asked quickly.

Tabby frowned. She didn't like to be thought of as older. Maybe it was because she seem mature with a baby in her arms. Thought of a butterfly birthmark. "I'm sorry. I can't think of anyone that has that mark. Then again I don't get out a lot."

Tabby giggled. "It's hard with a child. Thought I'll have to pass that information to my date." She told him. She already had someone she liked and she wanted them to have time to develop as a couple before she saw what else was out there.

A brief look of surprise crossed Ray's face, followed by him bursting into laughter. "You thought I meant the two of us? You're pretty, but a little... young for my tastes. Maybe in a year or two..." He said, briefly drifting off. "No, I meant I'd babysit if you needed it. My father's had MANY children, and I got stuck babysitting quite a few of them." He offered.

Tabby cheeks became red with embarrassment. She had messed up on Ray's words and confused them into think that he was flirting with her. She lowered her head so the man couldn't see. She was still a kid. "Oh." She said low. "I may take you up on that offer one day." She added.

Ray noticed her change in tone. "No need to get embarassed. If you're not seeing anyone in a year or two, who knows, I may ask you out. Like I said, you're cute. Just not my age..." He replied, chuckling weakly.

Tabby swiped away Ray. She was mature enough. This guy treated her like a child. So not cool. "I wouldn't date you anyone. Old man." She said as Yvette let out a timely giggle.

Old? No one had ever called Ray "Old before. This girl was starting to intrest him "Old? I'm only 21! And why wouldn't you date me?" He asked curiously.
