It's true - if you check out the screenshots up there you'll see that Coline's had the want to marry Jessie rolled up since halfway through the woohoo attempt scene. I was like WHAT?? They haven't even done it yet, and she goes and springs that on me out of the blue!
Dayum, this is one weird girl. She spends weeks stubbornly refusing to display any affection, then in the space of a couple of days jumps from 0 to 200.
On the whole, I find it incredibly sweet, and also scarily true to her character. The general consensus of everyone I've talked to about it (all two msn buddies!) seems of the opinion that Coline is slow to warm and then quick to boil. So the second she realises that she IS loved, that this IS real, and once she's had a little (long) time to ponder things... no more hanging around!
Interestingly appropriate too, Jessie's sim has never rolled up wants to make out, woohoo or marry. It seems he's content to roll along, happy just to know that he has a partner who loves him without any of the frills. Very cool, very true!
