"Seth," Melisande said, her voice dangerously sweet again. "I'll give you a head start. One, two--eh, that's long enough!" she cried, charging after him with the force of...well, a raging boar was an apt comparison.
Dacj watched her go with a sigh of relief.

Sorcha Looked a little curious at the break your bones with your bare hands line, but since Dacj seemed so worried she decided not to push it " Eh what is with every one and this food sensitivity thing~" Sorcha caught the ice cube as it fell out and renewed her attack on Dacj's tentacles now that she was distracted.

Oh s**t. Despite his utter doom, Seth couldn't help but laugh as he dashed out of Missy's way and down the stairs. It seemed that he might be joining the party back on the ground again fairly soon. Or possibly up a tree even depending on how long and far she decided to chase him.

Dacj squealed as the ice cube missed staying in her tentacles for long, but the cold drippy water sure wasn't a fun sensation. "Sorcha! I tried to save your life, and this is how you repay me?" she asked, tentacles flailing.
Melisande followed after Seth with a vengeance, and woe betide anyone who got in her way.

Kisuke blinked at the commotion upstairs. On one hand, everyone was there and he was not appropriately attired at all. On the other hand...it would be very easy for them to hit him if he stayed down here. "All right, I'll head upstairs~" he murmured, beginning to climb the stairs.
"...D-does anyone mind if I'm just refilling the water balloons?" He really didn't want to throw any around.

Seth tore down the stairs, nearly crashing into Kisuke in his haste to get away. "Sorry!" he called back to the Tanuki, continuing his flight from the angry pig. He had put a lot of distance between them, but unfortunately he would only be able to keep up his speed for so long... he really needed to start some endurance training.
"You can help me out over here~!" Elf replied to Kisuke, waving him over. She had taken up the task of filling the balloons at the taps while the others threw them about.

Melisande, on the other hand, had endurance to spare, and she was fairly certain she'd catch up soon enough--cheetahs could only run so fast for so long, and it wasn't very long at all. She cracked her knuckles as she went, flexing arms and ready to beat Seth pretty soundly.
Mena went to go help the others refilling the supplies. "I think they're pretty occupied with each other, you ought to be safe enough, Kisuke," she said with a kind smile for the tanuki. "How's life treating you, other than my daughter inviting you to a let's-ambush-the-guests party?"
Dacj made a face. "Okay, I see your point, but still! I kissed you and everything!"

It must have been a rather.... interesting sight to the rest of the guests when a shirtless and wet cheetah Hyte tore out of the Hytech front doors and ran up over to the treeline, quickly scaling the closest large tree that he could find. Seth hadn't run out of steam just yet, but it would be unwise to let himself get to that point when Melisande was trying to pummel him. She certainly was violent for a pig... He made sure to settle himself on a rather high branch, well out of reach.

Sorcha smiled "And I liked that quite a bit, but that's not really going to change my nature, besides this entire party is a prank you pulled surely you can't say me pulling a few of my own is out of line after that~"

The vaguely-looked-like-she'd-been-tossed-in-the-pool Melisande following after Seth wasn't much better. She stopped at the base of the tree (skidded to a stop was more like it) and put her hands on her hips as she looked upward. "Are you going to hide up there all day?" she asked.
Up on the roof, Dacj smiled wistfully. "Well, noooo, but it's less out of line and more a timing thing, I mean, I was pretty okay with the kissing but if you'd rather toss ice cubes at me, I can go hunt up some balloons and we'll go back to doing what everyone else is doing...if you like."

"Not at all," Seth replied breezily, leaning up against the trunk casually. "I have a job to finish after all." As soon as he could locate his target anyway. Ah well, it was probably best that Eli was not out and about right now; otherwise the surprise would be long gone. "Are you still intent on fighting with weapons other than water balloons?" And by 'weapons' he meant 'beating him to a pulp with her bare hands', but that was neither here nor there.

"Is that supposed to be a euphemism or something?" Melisande asked, shaking out her arms and stretching them above her head. "Moi thinks moi's murderous rage has passed~ Aren't you just a lucky duck."
Seth might've been right after all, Dacj mused--maybe her charisma didn't need to get any better. "Isn't that nice," she said brightly, peering around to make sure everyone else was properly occupied. "It was thoughtless of us not to have remembered your gadgets, I'm sorry," she added, drawing once again closer to a more amiable Sorcha.

"I am very glad to hear that," Seth replied with a smile, tail swinging lazily below him. "What of your non-murderous rage? Is that still present?" he spoke lightly, mainly because he was rather safe where he was. Should the situation change otherwise though it may not be quite as amusing. "Perhaps we should resume with the balloons soon, don't you think? Seems a shame to just let the others have all the fun."
