He didn't even hear what she said as he lifted her up into his arms and kissed her on her cheeks which was getting redder. He trailed his lips from ear to ear. He then stopped and looked into her eyes, trying to see her reaction.

Victoria felt fast breaths replace her normal-pased intake of air as she looked back at him stunned in awe. "D-Drakkar...." Her green eyes shone with joyful tears as she kissed his neck tenderly

He pulled her tighter against him, hearing her blood rush faster through her veins, which was a sound he cherished deeply. "Yes, my sweet Victoria?" He murmured, kissing her forehead. He looked into her deep green eyes where he lost himself completely. He wondered how just one simple but beautiful creature could make him feel this way. He has lived for a long time and no one came near to the way she was to him, the way she made him feel. He couldn't think of letting her go. The mere thought of this caused an unknown unbearable pain that seemed to pierce his very soul.

Victoria blushed crimson and after much thought, kissed him back. She felt as if a light bulb had gone off in her mind, a broken wire, now attached. She felt enlightened and free. She felt....
alive.
Her heart raced and she felt tears come to her eyes. She melted into his embrace, unknowing of what to say, and not caring
