Xiao is a very interesting Usidia. She tends to be very quiet and respectful, preferring to listen rather than to speak. This was a trait taught her by her mother in her homeland far away and across the ocean. She was taught to be demure and silent like most young mares in her village. At times she will explode with a sudden outburst of her feelings that can startle others into staring at her until she quiets down and becomes the respectful calm version of herself again.

Xiao was betrothed at a young age to an older Usidia. Much older than she who had already had three wives already and all had ended up dead of some cause or another. When she first met her lifemate to be, he hurt her and told her that if she did not listen and obey his every whim then she would end up like her last wife. This scared her so badly that she ran away from everything she knew and sailed across the ocean on a raft that barely floated. Starving and exhausted she landed in the Kawani Lands and made her home here, hoping and praying to all the gods that she would be left in peace and never see the monster she was supposed to marry again. She makes flower arrangements with the help of her two-legger and gifts them to anyone she wishes. Its really just a hobby but it passes the time.
