Asher blinked, poking Rune with her foot. "So much for not breaking, buddy." She giggled, pulling a sharpie from her pocket. Kneeling down, she scribbled him a nice mustache and several other doodles across his face. Tony rolled his eyes.
"Was that absolutely necessary?" He asked.
Asher only nodded. Tossing Rune over her shoulder, she placed him across the futon in Rashaad's office. "Interesting trick," Rashaad said, staring at the soul of the boy the other two couldn't see. "I've heard of this before..."

" Must be nice, im so damn lost." Rune grouched back, sighing as he looked down at his marked face. He couldnt help the small grin though, pushing a hand through his phantom hair as he shook his head. " I always wanted a mustache, but i was thinking more along the lines of a stylish one." It was.. unnerveing.. to be seen like this, and he wondered what exactly he looked like from her point of view.

"Tell me, child," Rashaad said, leaning forward. Her black curls brushed over her shoulder to hang heavily around her like a thick, black cloak. "What do you think you are?"
"Asher, my second-in-command, is a Dire wolf, Tony is a Were-Leopard and I am Vampire...with a twist." A smile pursed her lips. If you thought about it, that would place the Strigoii into the same category as she.

Lifting a hand as if to sheild himself, Rune flinched.. his eyes hallowing out as small lines of stress etched themselves into his features. even his body, still as if in a sleeping death, started to tremble as Rune asked in halting words. " What... I am..?" he feared the question.. and, what was more.. feared finding the answer. placeing his hands over his ears he fell to his knees, shakeing his head as he protested quietly. " Do not ask me questions i do not know how to answer."

"Calm yourself," she chided, "if you do not know, it does not matter because I do. What I'm more concerned about, is can you perform? If you can do that, I'd like you to join Cirque de Noir." Rashaad found this boy suddenly...fascinating. He wasn't certain of what he was. Was it a spell? Certainly worth looking into. She'd have to make a couple calls later...

No.. there was something important.. something just out of reach.. How could he forget he was- His thoughts dissolved at the sound of her voice, frustration and resignation clear in his expression as he sighed.. braceing his hands on the floor and allowing his hair to fall over the side of his face. " I can preform.. in the day, and in the night." though.. most screamed 'ghost' at the night showing. seeing as he had no choice to become a soul each night, he had learned how to lift and move physical objects.. learning to do his shows as a ghost for better money. " but.." he added quietly, unwilling to meet Rashaad's gaze. " i do not think i would profit this place any. my skills are petty, compared to those here."

"Nonsense, everyone, no matter how great or menial their role, contributes towards an even greater performance." Tony and Asher both nodded in agreement. "It's true," Asher replied, "if you join us, then maybe we could both work on a routine together." She, of course, couldn't see Rune's ghost, but from what Rashaad had been saying...well, it was pretty obvious what he'd been saying. Tony remained silent beside Rashaad. "Phantom of the Opera," she added as an afterthought, "hope you all can sing..."

Sing..? A resigned smile turned his lips, nodding his head ever so slightly. " I will try." it was all he could promise.

"Wonderful." Clapping her hands together in delight, Rashaad walked back to her desk and began writing down several notes towards their performance. "The masquerade scene will be extravagant, we'll get everyone on stage to waltz. Oh, and the chandelier scene..." Rashaad spun in her chair, "I want the entire audience on the edges of their seats." Asher giggled. "She can be a little eccentric sometimes." Tony rolled his eyes. "Sometimes?"
"When you come back into your body, Asher'll show you around. I've gotta start setting up auditions for the roles..."

As they spoke Rune simply moved to his body, cleaning the marks from his face as he sighed. his soul wanted to wonder, and he could not find a reason to halt himself anymore. reaching out he pet Diz, saying quietly. " Be good.. and dont take anything." with that he was simply gone, his form pulseing before vanishing all together.

While Rashaad jotted down several notes and began mapping out the stage, roles, routines for their newest performance, Asher lingered beside Rune's body, waiting patiently. Asher couldn't help but find Diz absolutely adorable. "You friendly?" she asked, offering her hand. Tony smirked. It'd be great if he bit you...

The monkey bristled, yowling and swatting at her until she moved a few steps away from Rune's body. While he was good tempered when Rune was awake.. he always protected his friend while he slept. Calm once again he sat on Rune's chest, playing with the boy's necklace as he watched the people the room.

As Asher jumped back in alarm and Tony burst out laughing. Asher tumbled backwards, shifting into the tiny Pomeranian she was so fond of taking the form of. She hopped, a good distant away from the monkey mind you, and yipped. How Rashaad could possibly ignore the noise, well, she'd had years of practice ignoring Athena.

aggrivated Diz stood, placeing his small hands over his ears and tilting his head to the side.. screeching in annoyance. makeing a bbbbffftttt noise at Asher he bobed up and down. it would be, to a outsider, a comical scene.. a small monkey makeing rude noises at a yipping dog, while a boy lay sleeping and a woman worked. only Tony seemed immune from the insanity.

Eventually, Rashaad set her pen down and rubbed her temple. "Tony, I've got a headache." she sighed. Tony nodded. As a Were, Tony had two forms. Animal and Were-man. Shifting into his animal form, an enormous Cheetah, he stepped between the two and snarled. Asher couldn't speak cheetah, but she was willing to bet money that it meant shut up. The Pomeranian whined, crawling underneath Rashaad's desk to hide.
