Sweet, Glad to know that My fortune's Favor may be worth something soon, was about to sell it.
It has been stated numerous times by the zOMG! devs that this ring will be "worth its weight in gold" once the Epic items recipes are released. (The ring increases all loot drops and Epics will require a boatload of loot, orbs, and gold to even attempt to craft.)
Add to this the fact that as of the last zOMG! update the ring now effects gold drops from killing animated (~13% increase), and you've got a winner.
This ring will be a must for any zOMG! treasure hunter, or regular player hoping to "make a living" off zOMG! now that Booty Grab is being nerfed to high heaven. (With the closing of Dolphinmania and the nerfing of high-trigger fish, BG is being "phased out" of its guaranteed gold mine stage by the Gaia overlords.)
As Gaia works to contain inflation, gold will be harder to come by for the average player. People will want any edge they can get and this "limited edition" ring is a definite edge.
Also, the devs have stated that this particular ring is "limited edition" purposefully to insure that it does not become another gross inflation trigger. (If every Gaian could make lots of gold easily by using this ring to play zOMG! we'd have another BG situation.) So I wouldn't expect it to be re-released.
