"Yeah! That's what I meant! I'm sorry if I offended you with my wordage... That's why I asked why you seemed down about it ~ generally it's a happy charge..." Geez - who haven't I offended yet? Why's everyone so pissy all the time?

"Humm. Ok understandable. So do you know where there are more ruins of the fallen continent in this area? And do you know if any other texts, other than the one on Omaca, have been found?'

"Breathe human." he pauses for a moment. "The only other ruins are on the island you intend to go to. Their, I said it. As for the texts, many have been found all over the world, all pertaining to that region. This is ours. The only person who knows more then me and Oceas and Tempesti is likely Geldrei, the necromancer."

"So you just want us to calm down and stop asking you questions that'll all be answered later huh? What should we do instead? Small talk? Something like 'So how's the weather?'... or is that too riske" Trying to make a joke about the weather phenomenon of Tempesti and how we can't talk about it... it was supposed to be funny, but the roll is not so hot... I guess it's good enough for a "routine performance"... but his somber a** probably won't enjoy it...

I'm just trying to be friendly! I swear! I'm just trying to ease the situation with a little humor... *ahem* Tough crowd... I'd probably return my attention to Nalani after this failed exchange...

Nalani just watched the newcomers talk as she sat on the sand, looking out to the sea. She'd be sad to leave this island, but the thought of adventure seemed appealing. She could always come back to her island, she thought. Maybe it'd be good for her to see the world.
She was picking up bits and pieces of conversation, and trying to remember the important names that these people were bringing up. They may be important some day, after all.
But what they were discussing seemed crazy. Continents falling from the sky? Ocean guardians? She'd lived on this island for the majority of her life, and stories like this seemed ridiculous.

He smiles at the joke.As day turns to evening, the moon appears early and can be seen as it drifts in the horizon opposite the sun before the sun even touches the ground. As the sky's color shifts with the setting of the sun and the light of the moon begins to reflect off the water, a great turtle can be seen slowly coming toward the island using the reflection of the moon on the surface of the water as a road. If there is some additional RP that needs to be done, it can be done in the Omaca thread.

As the Turtle draws closer, the firs thing that stands out is the remarkable structure built on the top of his shell. It looks as if it was grown from live coral and seems to house a variety of plant like sea life that normally exist beneath the water. Even closer still, the turtle's coloring comes into view, a very odd mesh of red, pink, and orange but it doesn't take long to realize that this beast's shell reflects the sky as the turtle's coloration deepens and starts to reflect the night sky with flecks of white, a reflection of the stars.

The turtle comes to a halt about 100 ft from the shore. The water seems to stop washing up upon the shore, but instead is still like a lake or pond. "If you'd all step this way." And with that Salastri steps out into the water, but before his foot splashes into the water, sand rises to the surface, cradling his feet. He walks about five feet out and its obvious that a sand bar bridge will form in front of him as he walks. "I assure you, its quite safe." He continues, Captain Spitz and Gwei in tow.
