You go on kicks where you wear a bracelet that you pretend is from Murtagh and write a fanfic where you were his childhood friend and you become a Dragon Rider and are determined to save him and everything everywhere has some sort of connection to him.
Yeah, that's me. I'm wearing that bracelet right now... XD

....you know you're addicted to Eragon when you spend three years in a roleplay with two of your best friends and then make it your lifelong dream to write all of that story down and publish a novel from it.
Yeah. Yeah that's totally me. Ask Isidar; we're insane like that.

God, you have no idea how much fun it is. Several on the nicknames we use for Isidar are actually derived from that RPG. Not to mention that the characters we used from there served for so much more; I carry May and Minasia around me like tiny little angels on my shoulders. It's nice to know I have chick with swords telling me what to do. No. Really. It's cool. Isidar and I are thinking of making another RPG around here, feeling more like a tabletop than an actual text RPG. We're still trying to figure out how that would work though.

I'm in a medieval reenactment group, and some ppl--including my best friend--carry swords. Well, I bought the prop replica of the one Murtagh has in the promo pics for the movie (that movie stank, but they had a good Murty), and at our week-long camping trip last summer for the group, my mom's most frequently repeated sentence to me was "Take the sword off."

The movie never existed. We don't invoke it, mention it, think of it; we forget it ever happened. It was a disgusting thing and giving it the name "Eragon the Movie" is a disgrace. Yes, I hate it that much. That aside, your mom sounds like a total buzzkill, just saying. AND FREAKING--THAT'S AWESOME. And I agree; Garrett Hedlund's an amazing actor. He was perfect for the role and I'm really happy he's starting to get more attention, what with his awesome!role in the new Tron movie. I love that man. <3 Swords. I wish I could carry them. Way too many years ago, my elementary school had a medieval festival at the end of the year, and all the teachers and a few volunteering parents dressed up for the occasion. My 3rd grade/favourite teacher was a knight. God it was hot. Literally. You're so lucky. A sword... :c

My 3rd grade/favourite teacher was a knight. God it was hot. Literally. You're so lucky. A sword... :c Actually, I really WAS wearing it too long. she'd usualy tell me to take it off at night (the sheath was black, really hard to see in the dark). It's not sharp, but it IS a long hand-and-a-half, just like in the book. Even has a leather hilt, as described in Brisingr. And my dad, who knows a good deal about swords, examined it and length and said that for all intesive purposes, it's real. I could still run someone through with it if I really wanted too. Hmm, where's that girl I met once who said she wanted Murtagh to die? Kidding! mrgreen Though I seriously met a girl who said that. I was Quorra (the girl program) from Tron this Halloween, can't WAIT for that movie! More Garrett! YAY!

I don't know much about swordsmanship and the proper manners concerning swords in general, but I think it's pretty awesome that you even know a fraction about what you're talking about. I wish I knew half what you do. : )
...I'll admit I secretly which Murtagh would have a boulder dropped on him. You have to admit that what happened... can understandably upset the audience. Especially considering I haven't read the entirety of Brisingr yet. x ) But, I mean, I do hope he straightens himself out. It'd be a shame to lose him. To anything. Or anyone.
Have you seem Garrett in Four Brothers? God, I just love his hair in that movie. Completely fell in love with him.

It's not that bad actually. It's sort of depressing at some bits but it's really worth it when you watch the ending. I've seen in three times so far. : ) I love that movie. Specifically, Garrett's. god but do I ever love it.

I'm still hyped for TRON. I'm going opening weekend. And I'll be wearing a black long-sleeved tee, black skirt, black tights, and the black boots that go with mu Quorra costume. <3 When I went to see AVATER (I saw it 4 times in the theater) I wore blue clothes and Na'vi-esque jewelry and braided my hair. I like theme-ing my movie clothes

Wow, that's some hardcore movie viewing right there. I sort of wish I had the guts to do that, but in a small town like mine my face actually might make it in the town paper the next day. Talk about creepy and unwanted attention.
I usually just go with my friends/dad on Tuesdays because we used to always have that day off in common for some reason and it's become sort of a tradition. Even if I work. Opening weekends suck here. Not to mention that THIS IS CHATEAUGUAY THIS TOWN DOES NOT KNOW ENGLISH.
No. Really. No english books or movies. It sucks.

I know a guy who wound up on the front page in a full-out costume at a movie premier. My outfits are always just subtle enough that you can't tell at a glance.

That's one pretty awesome guy though, you have to admit.
Subtlety is nice, especially in big town movie crowds. I rather like passing under the radar, kthx.
