╚══════════════╝    The slim black cat curled up on Sapphire's shoulder's grinned a bit. "Ah, but you can always count on a black cat for luck." he purred quietly to...seemingly himself. He stood up on the girl's shoulders and affectionately rubbed his face against the side of Sapphire's. "Well, I hate to run, but a long trip in this heat would simply kill me. I'm already wishing I were a white cat rather than black. Sooo...I suppose if you run into any trouble, I'll pop back and lend my assistance if I feel it would be good for the story." he purred. Suddenly he explodedin a puff of black smoke...right in Sapphire's face. Sapphire koffed and tried to fan the smoke out of her face. "Do we still have any idea who that cat is?" Alex asked as she...hesitantly climbed onto the large spider in front of her. This was rather freaky. "No." Sapphire replied, climbing onto her spider as gently as she could. "I'm sure we'll figure it out later. Figure everything out later."She turned to look over at Warp, and found him already on his ride for the day. As hot as it was here, his face was rather pale. He didn't have a problem with spiders did he? Well...guess it really didn't matter with spiders this big anyway. These things could give anyone the creeps. She...didn't really mind them though. Go figure. Suppose that was one plus about having spider-related powers. ╔══════════════╗

╚══════════════╝  Edel's eyes widened as she heard the footsteps coming down the hall towards her. She looked about the hall frantically a moment. No windows for her to transform into a bird...no holes for her to turn into a mouse. It would look odd for any animal to be wandering about down here. She could simply claim that she'd gotten lost.
....of course then she'd just have to watch them walk in and leave her outside. And it was Merlin walking up, wasn't it? And that girl had to be with him.
She turned and stared nervously down at the door for a long moment. She could hide in there....but she remembered what happened the last time she did something like that. Constantine was lands away from here...so he wouldn't be coming to her rescue again. And her mother...pfft. She'd just leave her to her fate sooner than compromise her own masquerade.
Her eyes widened as she felt something glide across the bottom of her dress and looked down to find a black cat rubbing up against her. It looked up at her, and gave her a large and unnatural smile that was eerie enough to make her skin crawl. "Curiosity killed the cat, you know." it purred. "But with what an interesting bit this will be, how can I say no to providing a helping paw." he said, leaping up and landing on her shoulders with one bound.
"What...what are you...?" Edel whispered.
"For now, just your little magic familiar." he replied with his large, pearl white Cheshire smile.
The next moment, the two had simply vanished. /// btw...they are still in the building...in the room actually. Just completely unseen for now. ///

Meanwhile Back in Camelot Despite the pain, Skuld arched an eyebrow and responded sarcastically, "Playing match maker, Master Merlin? In the time that I'm from, arranged marriages are a thing of the past. However, I imagine you would counter with 'my past, your present." The mage thief carefully followed Merlin, paying attention to her surroundings. As was her training, always keep aware.

Death usually only took her five minutes to return from, but...she hadn't been killed so brutally in a very, very long time. Her eyes fluttered open, and she found herself in a surprisingly clean room compared to the one she had just been in. For a moment or two, she thought that the whole thing had just been a dream. But it was only for a moment. Her nerves finally recovered as well, and she could feel every wound that was in the process of healing. It shouldn't take more than a few...well, no, more than a few minutes. There were far too many to heal so quickly. It would take a day at least. With a wince, Gossamer sat herself up and glanced down a herself. Instead of seeing open wounds, she found a rather nice kimono wrapped around her. She blinked, then looked about for her clothes. "Huh. Kept his promice." she mumbled to herself. Then another thought crossed her mind and she grimmaced. She hadn't seen any other women around here, and she certainly wasn't awake to change herself. She hissed something under her breath and forced herself to her feet. Her grimmace relaxed when she felt cloth wrapped tightly around her under her kimono. She moved the shoulder back of the kimono back...there had to be at least three layers to this thing...and glanced down, finding her wounds had been taken care of as well. She blinked, a bit surprised to tell the truth, then moved the shoulder back into place. Honestly, she had expected to simply have been left on the floor where she fell until she woke up. Not to be taken into a surprisingly well taken care of room, cleaned up, and dressed with what should be a very expensive outfit. There was a catch to all this. There had to be. Well, her wounds wouldn't be completely healed for a full day. She had about half her energy, whereas she would have had all of it on any normal death. Which meant she didn't have much energy to preform any great feats of magic like that for a while. ...which meant that she was stuck here for at least a day anyway. Super. With a sigh, she straightened herself out as best she could and slid the door open. She was met with not only a cloud of dust that rolled off the rotting floor outside the door, but guards that she was sure she had demolished before she fell. Of course. She should have blasted them all out of the building and into the sea if they were close enough. She sighed again, winced as she took a shaky step forward, and slowly made her way towards Fargo's throne room.

Meanwhile Back In The Kingdom of Camelot.....Merlin patted Skulds shoulder. "Don't worry we don't arrange here, merely make suggestions."He explained with a friendly laugh. They made way into his study and opened the door. Merlin peered into his study in search of his apprentice. "Boy are you in here?"He asked, shouting out.

Meanwhile in The Old West in a mine........The sound of gunshots and animalistic fury rang loudly. "Well now, if it isn't my dear friend Billy."Alucard announced over the numerous vampires that attacked or were shot down. Billy continued forward against the odds, blasting one after the other bloodsuckers in their heads. "Alucard!!!! Face me you coward, stop hiding behind your crownies!!!!"Billy shouted in frustration, against the odds he'd be downed within a few more minutes.

Back in the Train . . . Arell and Jonah spotted a mountainside at the same time and looked down at the maps they both had. "THAT'S THE MINE! WE GOTTA GET OFF THIS TRAIN!" Arell and Jonah said in unison when Hex looked up and spotted the Cajun. "Fergit it, boy, he's MY bounty!" Hex growled as Arell got up. "Che', we spotted de boy first!" Arell shot back and looked to Selita. "C'mon, ma'am, we gotta get goin' if you wanna gun down what's-his-name!"

Meanwhile in Feudal Era, at Fargo's shrine....."Ah come on, don't be that way brother. Let take just one peek at the goods, I haven't had my fill of human females in days."Delgato whined within Fargo's throne room. Fargo simply rolled his eyes at his brother's complaints. "Touch her and its your flesh you'll have to worry about Delgato. Quit wasting my time, have you heard news of the samurai?"He asked, not in the mood for games at all, especially with the Jesting Oni. His patience as wearing thin by the second, especially considering that Delgato kept poking his undead soldier instead of paying attention. "Well last I heard from Nedoa, she said and I quote."The dashingly handsome warrior took out every last one of my squadrons then told me he was coming for Fargo, I begged the god to take me with him, that I'd bear his children, but he fled from me with disdan." end quote, someone seems to have a crush on your hero."He explained playing around in Fargo's face. With a low growl he grabbed Delgato by the neck. "That'll be all dear brother, tell our sister I hope to see you both very soon. Now if you don't mind, GET OUT!!!!"He shouted, thrusting the demon out of a window, but instead of falling he disappeared into a puff of black smoke.

"Momma always said men were a pile of igits."She told herself, slashing through a blood sucker and gunning down the next, brains splattering across the mine's entrance. She could here voices and gunfire. He's here alright, I'm going to make you pay!

The spider mounts followed swiftly behind, being sure not to lose him. "We are almost there, I'd suggest thinking pure thoughts to work well in your favor."He shouted back, his moves silent within the jungle thanks to the vibranium in his suit.

IN THE WEST, ON THE WAY TO THE MINE . . . Jonah and Arell were running towards the mine with Arell getting a head start by bailing out of an open window. "C'mon, ol' timer! Odds are she already in de mine and got Philly the Squid!" Arell shouted back to Jonah, who was gaining fast. "That's BILLY th' KID ya dumb Cajun!" Jonah shouted back. 'Bout TIME someone got it right 'round here! Arell thought, running towards the mine.

Meanwhile Back in CamelotSkuld stared in awe of the place and easily sensed the magic all around her. Numerous smells assaulted her senses: burnt sage, burnt candles..... and lavender? The sweet smell was completely out of place with Merlin's sanctum sanctorum. Lavender wasn't native to England, and... that style of perfume wouldn't have been created until the 18th century... Even though she was still in pain, Skuld summoned up an invisible telekinetic shield over herself and Merlin and then brought up another one to block the exit, "Master Merlin, unless you've been collecting floral samples around the Mediterranean, I think we are not alone." The mage thief placed her hand on the pommel of her sword, looking around.

╚══════════════╝ Warp looked up at Black Panther, then down at the spider he was riding on. Pure thoughts? He was at least five centuries from his own time, lost in the jungle, wearing a skirt, and riding a giant spider that could easily eat him. What. Exactly. Was he supposed to think about? He sighed, and tried to think. He was a clone that was made to kill. He didn't like doing it, so he ran off with Shadow and tried to make a life for himself. Not exactly pure thoughts. Though...his original was a child, and he did have the same memories of him. Those weren't completely good, given the child's life. But...all of the really early stuff was pretty happy. Just have to consentrate on that. The park...his teddy bear...saturday morning cartoons...icecream sandwiches... Alex was also deep in thought...trying to think of what she COULD think about. Her powers made her extrememly quick to anger. She was orphaned almost as soon as she was born. Her adoptive family was...they did the best they could. Her real mother was a witch, her father was a drug lord who covered most of Mexico and Brazil. Her sister was a vampire that had her own cult...hence all the nice ink she had on her. Suppose that wasn't that bad...it was as close as a family thing she'd ever gotten. Although...the time she spent with her friends felt more like family than she'd ever had before. Putting Sapphire's major fall from grace asside, she was like the older sister she never had. As well as everyone else. Sapphire, was also in thought. It was easier for her to think of pleasant thoughts. She was a country girl long before she ever moved to the city. She loved nature, and this place was like a paradise! She loved her friends and family almost to a fault. Actually, considering how much trouble it got her into, it was a fault. A huge fault. She tried not to think about that point in her life...or any of the other horrid points. What she found herself thinking about the most...was actually someone back in her own time that she was wishing she was with right now. ╔══════════════╗

He listened to Skuld, then blinked. Lavender? This girl wasn't wearing any....OH.
C.C. nearly smacked himself in the face. Sapphire loved lavender...and he'd been all over her before he came here. It wasn't Edel she was smelling, it was HIM.
'Well played..' he thought to himself, knowing that SOMEONE (cough-cough-girl-at-the-keyboard-cough-cough), would pick up on it.
Well, now did he reveal himself, or did he wait for Merlin to make a move? Then again, he was practically the Doctor Strange of this time. OH, now THAT would be a character to bring in here. Actually, Savage would be better. Ooh, for ALL of them. Wait a minute, he was getting himself off track again. He had a problem to get to now.

Meanwhile In The Forest of Ancient Africa....The Black Panther looked back, he didn't hear anything from them. Hmph, to bad, I could've told them the purest thing to think of, but that wouldn't be fair. When his vision turned off them he found himself assualted by a mass of green muscle. He hit the ground, hard. The culprit was Snake, accompanied by, Locust and Tiger. "I would say it was nice to see a fellow jungle cat waltzing around, but I'd be lying."Tiger ushered in after a monstrous roar. Locust buzzed about in the air, aiming for the other three. Snake wrapped himself around Black Panther, who couldn't help, but growl out his displeasure. "It seems the king is associating with white rats these days."Snake hissed out, his eyes focused on the new faces. Tiger held out one of his dagger claws and readied to end the King's reign permanently. "Well whoever you strange pale rats are, this is the regards from Africa, I suggest not running, it'll only make your suffering worse than a quick death. As for you, King, farewell!!!"He shouted trying to bring the blade down.
