Enjoying the sun...until I burnForellen didn’t, and incidentally couldn’t, down her tea just as quickly as Narcissa had because unlike the sun goddess Forellen wasn’t quite as insulated. So while Narcissa was finishing her tea off Forellen was sipping hers contentedly. She nodded at Narcissa when she mentioned that Kerrigan had brought sun screen with her. So with that nod she glanced at the red haired Omega with a curious look. ”Would you mind if I used some of your sun block until I can head out to get some tomorrow?” She was sure she’d have to get some...Kerrigan looked to be one of those people who didn’t char broil in the sun like Forellen tended to do. The tea they were enjoying happened to be her personal favorite flavor of tea, it was French and done right, who said the English could only make great tea? Let’s be honest now...Americans tended to commercialize things and tea was just another unfortunate casualty of that commercialization process. ”And beaten...them maybe jailed for even thinking of that.” She sighed looking at her cup. ”Sadly I haven’t found a place that serves good tea around the academy. Such a shame really that people here don’t know what they’re missing.” That more or less exhausted that topic of conversation and Forellen finished her tea and once Kerrigan was finished with her tea collected the glasses and went to clean up. She nodded her head positively at Narcissa when she offered to grab a towel for her. ”Yes please. I’ll put these away and meet you outside.” She said hefting the tray carefully and making her way to the kitchen to put everything away. Once she had the tea cleaned up and her precious supply squirreled away in one of the cabinets Forellen returned to her room and rooted around her bags until she successfully located her swim suit. Forellen changed into that and padded outside sliding her sunglasses onto her nose she was able to quickly locate Narcissa lounging out in the sun and looking like she was finally relaxing a little bit. Good for her. Forellen padded over to her and laid her blanket down near her and slid down onto it with a sigh feeling the sun already warming her she accepted the sun block from Kerrigan and began to apply it. It was a medium strength so she should be just fine. ”Thank you.” She said.

Alphas: Hi my name is Alek...Alek trailed behind the group of Alpha's and Omega's into the bazaar. He really didn't wish to hang out with any of them, he didn't want company, he was just following as he didn't know where to go and they did. He would find his way back once he had a drink.. or two. He would find his way back once he had his fill. It didn't take long before he found what he was looking for over all the rolling oranges all over the ground, thanks to Antonio. But he paid it no mind. He was thirsty, a thirst that no amount of water would quench. Soon he was whipping out his wallet, putting money down on a table and asking for a fruity drink. The lady looked at him with a frown. "Well Im afraid Ill need to see your ID kiddo. You look a little young to be ordering these." Alek didn't falter. He immediately reached for his wallet and out came his ID, it was fake of course. Putting him at 22. He had it planned out. If someone said something to him, he would just blame them for not taking his ID, had they taken his fake card he would not be in this situation, and they would not have to worry. He walked out double fisting two large cups of frozen something anothers. He honestly had no idea what he was drinking, he just new it tasted good, and had a burning sensation on the way down. Being he was an ice manipulator he was able to drink down the two before anyone at the pavilion would notice what he had down. They would see to large fancy plastic cups in his hands. Empty... But their were so many fruity drinks around here no one could call him out on it, yes they could however suspect. And suspect they would he assumed. He decided it was time to go back to the beach where everyone was. He wasn't enjoying his buzz here at all. He grabbed two more on his way out, and snuck back towards his room. Drinking them slowly now that he was alone. He tossed the cups to the side of the road as he walked. By the time he had returned to his swim trunks (which was a feat in his state of mind which had caused him to fall several times,) he walked out side, a towel over his shoulder towards the occupied beach. He was drunk, and he walked like it, but many walking on sand would seem that way. He knew he'd blend in here. All he wanted was to lay down and take a nap. Soak in the warm rays, enjoy this buzz. Enjoying not caring, enjoy the temporary peace. Now this was vacation. He slipped his shades on, and threw out his towel, and layed on it. He was going to get some sun, hopefully he would be able to darken his skin some. He had lost his normal tan long ago and now he wanted it back. He was ignoring the fact that he had a few stares, that he he was the center of conversations and thoughts. He had no worries now. He was comfortable, in his element. In the sun, a drink... well not in hand but in stomach. He was at peace with himself and it felt nice. Nice and comfortable.

Omega - other beach - Roughin It
Carlos pulled at the flexible, but stubborn branch to get it to arc into place. Once he got it he worked quickly with string and mouth to tie it off and keep it all in place. Once he was done and caught his breath he stepped back to appreciate his small twig made hut. With just a knife and a rock as tools it wasn't a high quality, and honestly he felt out of practice. But it would hold, and once he covered it with leaves and such it would it would get him by. big enough to lay down in, and accommodate maybe three more people. He wasn't expecting anybody but a little extra room never hurt. The fire pit he first made for the night was only a little bit ways away. The remains of his now tattered shirt lay close to a tree and went over to pict it up and move it closer.
He was nostalgic for his jungle home. Even the occasional far off explosions and gun shots. at the same time, as he was, he didn't want to be home. Not when he was out of his mind and in what he could best describe as broken hearted. His little camping project occupied his thoughts, but not enough not that he wanted to fight the blue eyed blond who had been boring into him. Emma wasn't really there, just a projection. In and out as she attended to other things, but she still probed and made it known she wasn't happy with his leaving, or his apparent intent. The inner argument was a waste and over before it began.

Omega - Clean up, Aisle Sandy Road
Christian nodded as he munched on the freshly peeled orange. Sofie was apologetic for whatever reason, which kind of perplexed him. If anyone was at fault, it was himself for not paying attention. Sometimes the simplest pleasures in life, like eating fresh fruit, were the most enjoyable. Whilst he ate, he couldn’t shake that niggling feeling in his belly that they were being tailed. He looked back momentarily, eyes scanning roughly a width of five yards and he saw no signs of anyone… save the people mulling around the marketplace.
“Maybe…,” he said, “Maybe tricks are bein’ played here.” He shrugged momentarily before finishing up the last few pieces of fruit. There was still the matter of the peel in his hand. He was careful to not step on any of the strewn about oranges and made his way to a refuse container. When he got back, not quite satisfied with just one orange, he saw Sophia motioning towards him while she spoke with cart vendor whose fruit was knocked around.
He knelt down and grabbed up three more oranges, two cradled in his left arm and one in his right hand. Before he walked over to Sophia, he looked back towards Raine and tossed her an orange. If she wanted it or not, that wasn’t his call. He could at least offer to share. “Heads up, Sparkles,” Christian said with a grin as he tossed an orange her way. As he did that, he clutched the other two in his uninjured mitt and walked over towards the vendor.
“You alright there, sir?,” Christian said as the man looked rather annoyed, but nodded his head. That was all systems go. Most of the quarry was intact, however, there were roughly fifteen oranges that were smashed, squished, or trampled under foot. When he saw that the price for one was a solitary buck, he chuckled to himself and placed the two oranges in his hand back onto the pile as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small wad of cash.
One of the benefits of the way his familial situation was the fact that his parents were on the East Coast, like he was. His father was called away on business years ago to the New England area, a year or so before Christian was discovered to be a mutant. They were quite grateful for the lack of distance, however they rarely saw each other. It didn’t really bother Christian too much, his parents sent him a small stipend to live off of… which he didn’t really need to use at all. For two years, he saved nearly every red cent that was given him by his mom and pop for excursions like this. Without a solitary thought, he handed the vendor a twenty, only telling him to keep the change.
After a few minutes, everything was righted with the orange cart and Christian began to scan over some of the various tents throughout the market. He didn’t immediately see what it was he was looking for, the replacement fishing rod, but he had a feeling that it had to be here somewhere. But, in his mind, the journey was so much more exciting that reaching the destination. Especially when in the company of good friends.
“So, what’s next on the docket Munchkin?,” Christian said to Sophia as he began to move away from the orange vendor and towards the relatively crowded street. While he awaited her answer, he felt his stomach rumbling a bit. Apparently either the orange he ate didn’t sit right with him or it just woke his hunger. “I’m votin’ food. Quite famished after that fight and rasslin’ with that swordfish.”

Alpha: Drunken chills
A shriek from Bella out on the waters made her laugh lightly. It was pretty audible to her, maybe muffed a bit for everybody else. She could hear Bella's words very faintly from her distance so she put it out of her head. Her hearing was not as sharp as Bella's and it would take extreme concentration. Just the small pieces she was able to catch made her understand what was going through her best friend's mind. Their roles were reversed now.
Keeping her attention on different things was almost second nature. The scent of alcohol and a slowly growing chill came upon the beach. She didn't have to look to know that Alek had returned. Had they really been playing that long or did he take that quick to getting completely tanked.
"Alek, now that you're in your happy place, come back to the game," Evie commented playfully not intending any ill will.
She kept her mind to the game but kept focus on everybody around. Soon, she needed to mingle with more people. Genuinely, she had missed everyone.

O+M+E+G+A- SPIKE!! It was exactly what he wanted, a nice high set from Evie, he jumped to finish what he had started. He swung his arm and released a burst with the contact, "SPIKE!" he shouted grinning stupidly at the other team as the ball shot towards them at an angle. It was going fast, but it wouldn't be impossible to stop especially for a mutant. He was so focused on not missing the timing of his spike that he didn't notice much of the other happenings on the beach, such as Alek appearing back so soon and drunk none-the-less or Bella and Gideon out in the water. He fumbled his landing on his way down, slipping from his poorly planted left foot straight to his back in a splash of sand, laughing. Of course this would cause him to miss on how the other team would react to his shot, but he did hear Evie calling Alek back to the game and something about a happy place. "You need to keep your eye on the ball! And the ground! Or you'll end up like this!" he shouted from his position on the ground before he slowly got back to his feet and swiped some of the sand from his back with his left arm.

Alpha: Vacation: Everyone needs a break.... Gideon knew of how Bella felt about the Alek thing. And given being team leader she considered him her responsibility. He got that he really did but to Gideon Alek was just proving himself not worth her time or thought. But Gideon wasn't like Bella nope his heart wasn't even half the size of Bella's. He just wish he knew how to straighten Alek out so she wouldn't have to worry about it. Of course if Gideon was tasked with it he would probably beat the boy to with in an inch of his life. that straightens some out or so he has heard from stories from Beast.. He laughed as she reacted much as he anticipated. Which also showed it brought about the result he wanted. She was generally easy to get out of her little funks. Just distract her with something else the the loving playful happy Bella would come out. "Yeah really" He said back simply Then she used her powers to send a pretty massive wave his way. It was actually pretty impressive. The wave crashed over him perfectly sending him under of course. Moments later he was back at the surface smiling. "There's that beautiful smile of yours." He said happy her mood had shifted. "You two need the vacation more than any of us." He said honestly it was the truth. Maybe Summer's and Frost would actually be more hands on. Take the reigns during the trip to give Bella and Cissa time to simply relax and be well normal. He said treading water using his legs he loved being so close to Bella. It wasn't hard to keep them both afloat even with his heavy frame. Of course the only reason he can do so is his advanced strength even if 300 pounds in the long run isn't that heavy, just for his actual body size it is. "Speaking of Cissa I know you don't like her. But I think some time on this trip I am gonna have to go somewhere alone with her....And before you go all jealous, it's so we can talk...well more her any way. The way I see it she went through an experience similar to what I did back with Hydra. So maybe it would help if she had someone who could actually understands what she went through more then the others to talk to. Well that and someone who won't judge her and can stand up to a few of her blasts." He said it was something he had thought about doing back when they returned. But there was just to much to do that he didn't get the chance. And well here on this trip well he certainly had the time. "And besides I know you would love a chance to bond with our newly returned friend for a bit on this trip."

Omega-Yum Yum Yum, oranges. Luckily the only thing that Antonio injured was his pride. Even with his recent complications, the thing was large enough to be able to take a blow like this and still remain completely intact. Laughing softly he took the helping hand that Shandra offered and got back on his feet. His hands brushed gravel and dirt of his pants as he surveyed the damage, groaning slightly. It had been a while since he had made a blunder like this, but he hated how much money it took to fix these things. Quickly he walked over to the cart owner. He gave the woman an apologetic look, though he doubted it would do little to make her happier, he did 'ruin' her entire stock. Sighing at his own mistake, he pulled out his wallet, taking out a blank check that was in there. The wallet again secured in his pocket, he began to fill in the check. They had haggled over a number, ending up with one large enough to pay for the entire stock, a new cart, and shipping so that the remaining oranges would be shipped to the condo for everyone's enjoyment. The situation now averted, he walked over to Shandra, thinking about the question that she posed to him. "I vote that we keep an eye around them. You know as well as I do that something will go wrong here and they will need help getting out of trouble. I think between the two of us we should be able to keep them safe and in the towns goo graces." He gave her a wink as he looked at the group of familiar faces. He smiled faded somewhat as he saw Alek. There was no doubt in the Hispanic's mind that Alek was going to get himself in trouble, and Antonio will not help him if that is what would end up happening. His signature grin on his face, albeit slightly hollower than before as hideous people like he was now needed to be slightly bitter, he skated over to where they group of student was gathered. "Hola, do you mind if we tag along on your little adventure through this town. Piece of advice, keep your eyes open for fruit stands. They appear out of no where, and the owners get quite offended if you hit them." Laughing at his own joke, he motioned for Shandra to join them.

Alpha - Beach - Babe Watching
Jack managed to cover himself with some minor difficulties, but in the end he resorted to duplicating himself. It was only to reach the center of his back. The clones existence was short lived and was gone before most could take notice. He watched the volleyball game with vague interest, and the thought of joining in had crossed his mind, but in lew of his size and clumsy build decided against it. With a sigh he fell backward onto the spread out towel he had laid down for himself, his left arm coming up to shield his eyes. As warm and comfortable as it was he resisted the urge to take a nap. Too much energy around to not be restless.
Several others had gone elsewhere. Joining Sophie's and Chrstian's group could have been fun, but he wasn't high on shopping, nor did he like public gawking at him. He shifted a little then sat back up and stretched his arms over his head. He twisted, and the noticeable popping of his lower back joints gave him reason to sigh. It was when he turned in the other direction he couldn't help but stare at the gorgeous eye canding lounging just some distance away from him. Perhaps for a full minute maybe more, he broke his gaze feigning to twist back in the other direction. When laid back propping himself on his arms, trying his best to steal glances without being caught.
The bikini clad trio of Kerriga, Narcissa, and Forellen weren't easy to ignore. His eyes shifted to the side, and he found it hard not to turn his head. He saw them give a similar glance in his direction more noticeably the blond taking notice of him which from rumors and avoidance of her kinda creeped him out but also gave him a sense of ego. Narcissa's reputation was talked about when he was still in the lower teams. He's never had the pleasure of even crossing her on his way to classes. If she was looking at him even for a second it told him he was either in trouble for reasons unknown, or he was noticeable beyond her legendary team competitive streak.
Between the Volleyball game which still entertained him and the girls off to the side, one of his stolen glances caught Kerrigan doing much the same which caused him to break a small smile on his lips. She was a tough cookie, and looking just as delicious in what she was wearing. He enjoyed harassing and antagonizing her too. She seemed much less composed around him which he realized and decided to be playful. He's saved her a bunch of times the past mission, not a pleasant experience but reflecting on it, he would have done so himself. He continued his babe watching, whilst thinking of what else he could do while on this vacation. Maybe go out, even work up a nerve to ask one of the lovelies around to accompany him. He was big and intimidating, which was off putting, and moreover made getting a girlfriend hard on him. More so he was kinda stupid when it came to it. Either way he was planning to enjoy himself here. Such a welcome change is paradise after a few days of hell.

Alpha: To Dinner - 'Five to Seven' She glanced at Christian and gave him a wry smile as he called her munchkin, secretly relating the word to the Wizard of Oz. She really hoped she didn’t remind him of munchkin land. At any rate, she was happy to see that things got back in hand with the orange cart, and that no one seemed to think any thing of it. She supposed accidents happened… Not everything led the world back to mutants. They’d be warned that while Catalina was a little more understanding than some places, any major disaster caused by mutant powers wouldn’t go over well. It was more than they could say for the rest of the world, who, after skinned victims in New York seemed to be on the war path. She looked around, bright eyes taking in all the bright colors and interesting little shops. She definitely wanted to buy something for her mother, and for her aunt from here before she left. They would love a little souvenir or two. Sophia glanced up as Antonio came skating over… Inwardly she winced, having really hoped that he and Shandra would have wanted some…Personal time. Considering it seemed like they were either dating, or very close to it half the time. It also annoyed her because usually the only time elder X-Men wanted anything to do with the new kids was to baby sit them, because they didn’t trust them not to get in trouble. Funny, because it was often the older ones getting into the fights and trouble. Antonio was a prime example—She remembered he and Alek got into it at the carnival. When Bella had to stop Narcissa from killing Alek for doing something to Antonio. Reikon throwing slinging mud into Narcissa’s hair— Narcissa sending him flying. Or, one of the Alpha's or Omega's that had been sneaking out at night after the mansion was put on lock down... Usually the Omega leader seemed to be starting things… But the list went on. Nevertheless, she smiled shyly when Antonio arrived, glad to see he didn’t run her over like the orange cart. She did enjoy his company after all... Just not if he felt obligated to be there. “Not at all mon ami… We were just going to get something to eat—Try the local cuisine…”, she spoke up, glancing to Christian and Raine for approval. Varian was still in the store he’d wandered into, so Sophie fished her micro thin cellular out of her small hand bag and sent a text, stating that they were heading to dinner soon. She didn’t want to leave him behind—Afraid he might get lost. Se looked around, noting there was a dozen and one places to get something… But she stopped when she saw what looked like an outdoor grill down the way about. “What about going there, non?”, Sophie squinted as she tried to read the sign, “Five to Seven?”It looked quite modern for the colorful marketplace, but it also looked agreeable with umbrella’s tables, some indoor air conditioned area’s and a view of the water. “Unless you guys want to try somewhere else?”

Omega:Catalina - Beach Body Kerrigan's cheeks flushed a soft shade of pink as the ever observant Cissa seemed to catch where her glance down the beach went, the redhead clearing her throat as she continued to apply sunblock. Her green eyes shifted to the blonde on the towel next to her as she flashed a soft smile, tossing her hair over her shoulders as an ocean breeze washed over her. " I don't know what you're talking about," she said, sticking her tongue out at her friend playfully as Forellen came and took the sunblock from her. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the Alpha giant looking their way as well, Kerrigan taking that opportunity to lay back on her towel, adjusting her sunglasses slightly as she glanced to the side, seeing the glass ball Cissa set on her towel. She picked it up, holding to towards the light to admire the perfection of the smooth surface. Once she set it down once more, she turned her head so she was looking at her blonde companion, biting her lower lip gently. " Alright, don't laugh, but I have noticed…and he drives me crazy. When he opens his mouth, I just want to hit him half the time, but I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that can't look away. Guess i am no more immune to building biceps and washboard abs than any other girl here," she said softly, not sure why she felt the need to keep just thoughts as secret as possible, though her words did come with a slight laugh. The thought of him hearing what she just said made her blush deepen slightly, though it had to be obvious that his presence affected her - he seemed to prey on it sometimes. Whatever it was about him, she found herself wanting to impress him, wanting her to look at him, which was something she never really experienced before.

Alpha - Catalina - Being Social Raine walked with the rest of the group to the shopping area, chatting idly with those around her as they made their way. It felt good to be surrounded by people again, and made her feel a little better about herself, combating the mood she found herself in since coming back from Limbo. Her eyes darted around the market they found themselves in, an excited smile crossing her features as she tucked her hands into the back pockets of her jeans. While she was not rich by any span of the imagination, she did have some cash burning a hole in her clutch wallet, and now seemed as good a time as any to spend it. After all she was supposed to get Katie a souvenir from their trip, since she was not on one of the teams that got to go with them. Varian made his way into a shop full of crystal figurines, the brunette thinking of following him, though she got the distinct feeling that he wanted to be in there alone for a bit. Whatever it was about the figurines, they were something special to him, and she could give him some time. Instead, she headed to a farmer's stand that was selling oranges, smiling as she hung back from Christian and Sophia for the time being. She saw them getting the oranges, Christian tossing her one that she caught with ease, bringing the rind to her nose to smell it. There was something about the smell of citrus that always made her smile. Moving to catch up with them, she smiled as she came to a stop next to them, seeing Christian surveying the area as he mentioned food. The lightning bug was actually pretty hungry as well, tossing her dark curls over her shoulder. Antonio joined them next, seeming to invite himself and Shandra along on their group outing, but she was not really one to care. She knew almost nothing about the two Omegas, so it might be interesting to get to know them a little bit. Sophie glanced at her and Christian as she said that the older X-man could come with them, the brunette chiming in with a smile. " Sure, the more the merrier." Her eyes wandered to the store Varian had entered as Sophie looked around for a place they could go to eat. She seemed to settle on a nice looking grill, Raine finding herself with a craving for a hamburger. " That looks great. I'll go in and see if Varian is ready to go," she said simply, excusing herself from the group to head into the store of figurines and charms to find the telekinetic Omega. His blonde head was not hard to find in the store, the electric mutant careful to avoid the various displays for fear of breaking something. Coming up behind him, she saw him looking at some silver chains and charms, the girl clearing her throat slightly so as not to startle anyone. " Hey, we're going to grab a bite to eat. Did you want to come?"

Omega: Beach boundGetting what she needed, the dark eyed Russian put her sunglasses back over her eyes and headed for the stairs. Her emerald green bikini wrapped around her fair skin and hit her in all the right marks. She knew it and was okay with it. Of course, she also knew better than to let everybody else know what she thought about herself. Being vein never came across well on teams like this. Walking through the kitchen, she ran her finger across the counter top instinctively making note of the metal content of anything she encountered. Touching a fork, she gracefully meld it around her finger and decided it would look better as a bracelet on her wrist. The metal moved down her hand like a liquid mercury snake at her will. Her will also made it bend around her wrist in a cuff shape while she was walking out of the door. As soon as she was satisfied with it's appearance, she made it stop and kept her pursuit. Petra knew who Narcissa was so it wasn't hard to spot her on the beach. She mostly didn't know what to expect from the girl not that it mattered. People were what they were. You either dealt with them or you didn't. Usually the latter of the two was what Petra did when she found somebody not to be entirely useful around her. Now, being that these were X-men, hopefully everybody was useful. Seeing her new team leader talking with some other girls, she figured it wasn't a bad time to make her presence known. Walking across the sand, she could detect small metal fragments here or there that most probably had no clue were under the grainy specs. Part of her wouldn't mind scouring the beach for any lost treasures. She nodded to the girls on the beach in acknowledgment but spoke directly to Narcissa in her half broken English, "Apologies for interruption. I am... new team member. You are Narcissa, yes? Petra Morozov is my name. Old team call me Pete or Alloy. Ms. Frost said you need metal molder and tell me to come to beach."

Town: Politely backing out
Shandra quietly watched Antonio move over the group. She'd...almost meant her statement as a joke, almost, but it seemed that he hadn't want to turn it into that. But that was fine, most of her had actually been serious about it after all. She just...hadn't expected him to go right up to them.
But then again, this was Antonio, he usually did many things she would have never actually thought to do. Or at least, take different methods to get to the end product. And when he waved her over, she watched him skeptically for all of a few seconds. She wasn't...good in groups of people she didn't know...but still...she'd already been spotted. Couldn't be too bad...
Without really stirring the water of the people before her, Shandra made her way over to the group that was slowly getting bigger apparently. However, as Sophia mentioned something about eating, Shandra knew she would have to gracefully back out. She wasn't into telling people about her quirks...and she didn't want to make anyone awkward by not eating.
With an apologetic smile and tone, Shandra looked to Sophia who seemed to be the leader of the other four newbies. "I'm sorry...I'm just not hungry. Umm...so I'm just going to back out so I can go finish what I meant to do?"
If Antonio got her sudden excusing of herself or not wasn't exactly an issue, not one that had any logical basis behind it, but she still hadn't wanted to be rude...She did have things to do and it wasn't like they'd know anything was up. She liked to keep it that way.
Besides...she had stitches to somehow magically get out on her own and a swimsuit to buy. That ocean was too tempting...she'd just have to remember to take it a little easier. So swimsuit buying first...stitches when she found a good terrycloth to bite down on just in case she messed up.

Alpha - Meeting the new team... while making an entrance Eli sat at the edge of the helicopter transit that took people from the coast of California to Catalina Island. In his opinion, it was much more fun that taking the ferry. He scanned the view of the island, he could see one side, the port side, with the city, bustling with life, what they were doing exactly, he couldn't make it out.
The helicopter lurched quickly as it turned and circled the island. Eli held on tightly to the grip, his feet dangling over the edge, a wake board, specifically asked to be made of stainless steel, shimmered as the sun reflected off of it. He looked up and saw the coast of California. He could see the smokestacks of Huntington Beach's power plant, and it's pier. The giant dome in Long Beach, that he still didn't know what it was for. His smirk turned to a frown slightly as he looked to the right, knowing that in that direction was where he was birthed, but what made him frown was, his mother's deathbed was in that hospital. 2nd, floor, ICU room #3. He remembered those moments too clearly.
"There's the mansion kid, how do you propose jumping without a parachute?" The pilot asked, breaking the continual whir of the helicopter blades above and the roar of the engine.
Eli tapped the bulky headphone on his head, "Don't worry about that, but thanks for your concern." He looked down, thy were only maybe, 100 feet up. The water below them was being pushed outward. He could see on the shore line, a rather nice beach front mansion, and a bunch of people scattered about. Definitely had to be them. "Can you take us up a bit more?" He asked, keying the headset.
The helicopter lurched upward as the pilot nodded and gave a thumbs up. As it came to a stop the man mentioned something to Eli that this was as high as he could go or whatever. But Eli was already taking his headset off when the man began talking.
Eli leaned forward, and he could feel his heartbeat quicken. Tucking his knees to his chest he continued to lean forward, spinning several times to get the blood rushing faster, then stopped rotating, his board above him and his body pointing straight to the water. As he continued to look at the water, he noted a couple figures in the water, and several on the shore line. He was unable to make out anyone's appearance. Not realizing he was only about thirty feet above the water, he quickly pulled his legs down and braced his knees for impact.
Using his powers, he pulled up on the board, attempting to slow it down enough so he wouldn't shatter every bone in his legs and feet. With a loud whoosh and splash water shot up and outward where Eli had made contact with the surface.
A few seconds passed as he came up to the surface, his board unlatched from his feet, and his ankles killing him. He swam his way towards Gideon and Isabella. He put the board under his chest and put his arms over it, so he didn't have to put much effort into keeping himself up as he swam towards the two. Recognizing Isabella, he cleared his throat and made his introduction.
"Uhm, excuse me, Isabella, my name's Elliot Schaffer, I go by 'Eli.' Uhm, Mr. Summers told me I'm assigned to team Alpha, and I just recently arrived." He said with a smirk on his face. He looked to Gideon and nodded and said, "Hello sir, pleased to meet you." He finished, and with his abilities, noted a large quantity of metal inside Gideon. One that Eli hadn't come across before. He made sure to not make a face about the feeling as it would have been rude.
