He smiles shyly, and gives a little shrug. "I will find a way... I'll find a teacer who can teach me to fiht one day, then I can protect people and the ones I care about! I'll never let anything hurt them if I can stop it." Passion and determination in his voice, not for violence but in his desire to serve and protect those around him. Giving a determind little nod. "One day, I'll find someone who can show me how to."

Syaoran-Puu She thought about his words, and before she was really conciously aware of thinking it she spoke, "My Mummy and Daddy where both trained by the same fluttercorn, not at the same time. My Daddy took my mummy to him when she said she wanted to learn so she could protect those she loved." She paused to look at him. "He is nice, old and tiny at times." She giggled at the memory of Sofiel turning into a flutter for her and making her smile after she fell down, she thought it was true magic. Something she would gladly fight to protect, yet as she grew she knew fighting was not for her. "He is a ninja." She smiled at Sonnet. "If you can't find anyone I could ask Daddy where Sofiel is? We could go ask him to help you."

Sonnet rested his head on the grass, feeling oddly heavy. "I should try myself first... I feel bad that you and your dad do so much fo me..." Loving his father but this one of the few times he wished that his mother was around, assuming she was like him, but not knowing. Wondering if she would have taught him to fly. Sighing sadly for a moment, feelign a pang of something that he didn't understand.

Syaoran-Puu She nudged him softly with her nose at the sudden sad look on his face, she hated it, and something strange tucked deep within her telling her that she never wanted to see Sonnet sad, not like this. In an effort to cheer him up she spoke again, but her words where honest, she wouldn't lie to him. "You are my friend, that makes you family. Daddy likes helping others. So do I." She gave him a dazzling breathtaking smile before chirping, "plus we all need a little help sometimes. But I am sure you can do it yourself. You are smart. Smarter than even Io!"

Sonnet lifted his head, smiling at her despite the heavyness in him, thinking that her smile would always make him smile back. "You think so? Then I need to get smarter too because I would never want to let you down." Giving her a nuzzle to say thank you, still wishing he knew something of his mother, but he was loved by his father, not knowing he had 2 brothers, he just assumed he was the only son. He had a good home, so no reason to be sad, and it seemd he had others that would treat him like family... This was a good day.

Syaoran-Puu She accpted his gentle caress, it seemed they where getting more and more comfortable around each other and that made Chandra smile even more. Friends had 'skin privalegdes' something she didn't give out easily. But being around Sonnet was easy, fluid like water as it was always changing, evolving into something.... she just couldn't see what. She nodded at him, she really did think he was was smart and by comparing him to Io it was the greatest compliment she knew. "You won't let me down." She muttered under her breath before focusing on the sun and her wings in an effort to change the subject. "Looks like my wings are starting to dry. Yours?" She turned to look at him again, her curls bouncing around her face happily.

Sonnet looked over at his wings automatically at her question, only slightly phased by th sudden change in topic. "Drying but I can still feel them damp lower down the feathers." His pailer wings drying on the surface, but not lower down, the sin reflected more than her dark wings, but shrugging. "Do we have more flying lesson today? Because if not I'm good like this."

Syaoran-Puu Chandra smiled and then tilted her head to the side, "I don't think so. But maybe?" She fluttered her wings a little sending droplets of water in his direction as she adjusted them, the fact that she did it on purpose was not something she was about to announce to him. Hiding a giggle and a smirk. She looked away and then back again, "I don't think Daddy will mind if we skip it and we do, we will just have to work twice as hard in the next one?"

Sonnet looked unsure, already feeling that Maion didn't like him much at all, not wanting to anger the stallion more. "Maybe we should go find out... I don't want him glaring at me more than he does already..." Deciding he didn't like being glared at, having been rather proud that he hadn't just run away, th much bigger stallion was more than a little intimidating.

Syaoran-Puu "He glares at you?" She said, a sad expression filling her face. She hadn't ever really noticed. "I am sure he doesn't mean it badly." She just couldn't see her father feeling that way about anyone... except maybe a skinwalker and Sonnet was definitely NOT a skinwalker. "Maybe its because you are a boy?" She smiled, deciding that he was just being a Daddy and trying to protect his little girl from a boy. "I will tell him off for you when we see him." She got up to her four hooves and waited for him, she had nothing against going to see Maion to find out. After all she was his little girl and knew that he would never begrudge her anything, probably the reason why he had tried to teach her to fly more than once.

Sonnet got up, shaking his head, not wanting her to talk to her father and tell him off. What a notion that was, he would never tell his dad off, then again he somehow thought that his dad and Maion were very different, and not just in look either. "Its ok, least if he's glaring at me he wont be glaring at anyone else." Not wanting that glare to turn on chan, so he gave a bright smile and gave her a nudge. "Race you!" He yelld before he started runnign as fast as his little legs could carry him, back to her herd lands.

Syaoran-Puu Sonnet was already running by the time that Chandra realised they where racing. she took off after him, racing on her four hooves as quickly as she could. Her wings tucked as tightly into her sides as possible in an effort to make herself move fast -it would have been easier for her wings to dry if she had spread them but she didn't want to be beaten. "No fair." She called after him.

His wings folded tightly, he glances back, knowing it slowed him down but not minding if he lost or won, it was just fun to do stuff with Chan. "Its not like Ii'm that far ahead" His wings folded, looking back to where he was going, their little hooves drumming on the grass. Laughing, wondering if properly flying felt as good as running.

Syaoran-Puu "Yeah but I still have to catch you." She called with a smile, her pace already starting to slow but to a pace she could keep up for a while. It wasn't far to her homeland but she didn't want to be too exhausted just in case they did have a flying lesson. Sticking a tongue out at Sonnet she giggled softly and looked ahead. The clearing and the lake where already coming into view. And in the distance she could see the darkened figure of her father, his might white wings and pelt a definate contrast to the green land around him. He looked to be with her mother but it was hard to tell from here, it could be her brother Mal.

[[THANKIES for recording this so far hunni, 8 pages! WOW! *huggles*]]
Sonnet slowing down so he wasn't streaking ahead of Chandra, smiling at her as she drew level beside him. Looking ahead and seeing the dark shape of Maion, slowing right down to a walk as he does, wondering again if that was it for the day or if more was to come.
