Goosie smiled faintly at Kami, noticing his expression as she looked over at him and then putting a hand on his arm comfortingly. "H-hey, it's um, a dangerous place anyways, um, I mean...look at what happened with Bristan..."

Goosie felt a pang of sadness for the torn dysadin and stepped around in front of him, letting go of his arm and trying to catch his eyes. She forced a small smile when she finally managed. "Y-you seem like a really sweet person, and, um, not getting in trouble is a good thing, um, so don't feel bad. L-look at it this way, um, Bristan went against his parents', like, wishes, right? And now he's in all kinds of trouble. So...and hey, you'll see him again soon anyway!"

She turned and took a few paces ahead before turning back to him and smiling more easily the second time. "I've got...powers, too. I'm going to help get the curse lifted and then he'll be back here with you and, um, everyone else before you know it!" Goosie demonstrated this point by summoning a small DRK orb for Kami to see in an effort to reassure him. She wasn't sure of the extent to which he knew about DRK or LGHT, and was half-hoping he wouldn't be familiar with the negative connotations her infection had.

"Umm..." Goosie didn't love the comparison but understood where it came from. Still holding the orb hovering above her palm, she finally broke her pause, looking at the DRK sphere and answering "...Kind of. It's like the, um, opposite actually..."

"Yeah...kind of, I guess...this is, um, called DRK instead," Goosie explained. The blonde kept her eyes locked on the orb while she talked, slowly bringing it in toward her chest and then holding it suspended in front of her. She let the other hand hover over the top of the sphere as it swirled slowly with DRKNRGY, looking up at him. She wasn't sure how much she wanted to explain, lest she turn him away, and decided to switch the focus back to her initial point.

Not wanting to misrepresent herself, the girl pressed on, all the while beginning to pass the orb from one hand to the other in a sort of anxious twitch "U-um, I won't lie though, I'm not really strong enough to do much on my own, um...but every little bit helps, right? If a few others help out, then maybe we can convince her to lift the curse...or maybe there's something else she'd want in exchange...well, um, I dunno, but there is a way and it's gonna be found, um, even if I have to figure it out on my own." She gave a small, inadvertent sigh as she thought about it, still watching the sphere she was playing with, only now her brow was furrowed.

Goosie flicked her lower hand's wrist and the orb disappeared, giving him a surprised look. "Um, you want to now? I mean, we could go right now if you want--um, but if you wanna help Bristan get out then it might be a while...so...your parents'd probably notice."

She frowned, wondering what the right thing to do was while she let her hands fall back to her sides.

She nodded, biting her lip a little and glancing around. Finally looking back at him, she said, "W-well, okay, but just um...just be careful."

Goosie gave him one last uncertain look before asking "S-should we go now? There's food in the facility for when we get hungry, so..."

"U-um, here--" Goosie took hold of the DRK pendant around her neck, closing her eyes and focusing on opening a portal to the facility. There were a few moments of silence as she pushed, drawing DRKNRGY from the pendant, before it finally formed completely. Still hanging onto the pendant, she held her other hand out for him to take and said an exhausted "Q-quickly..."

Goosie disappeared into the portal and it snapped shut behind them, leaving only the quiet forest in their wake.
