Yuri smiled at Eric. It was the first true and genuinely happy smile that Yuri has ever showed for 3 thousand years. Yuri hugged his brother close with a smile and whispered, "Thank you..."

Yuri side stepped letting the man closer to Eric but kept a close eye on him ready to kill in one fluent motion if he sensed the man would hurt Eric.

Yuri sneered. "Last time I trusted an outsider, my mate and unborn child was killed. I wouldn't assume that you will gain my trust. And it is Lord Yuri to you, only Eric may address me out of title." Yuri turned away with anger in his eyes. Outsiders were all killers They only want to stab you in the back, he thought to himself.
