He'd been at the school for over a year now, give or take the days he never actually left his dorm or left the school, so he had no excuse that he was "exploring". "Err. . just. . . hanging around. Wandering." Smooth. He grunted and stood up, stretching his arms back. "So, you're new here? What are you, a freshman?" he asked casually, his face as bored and mellow looking as ever.↞☆╮孤独 恐れ

She belonged out here, with the sun and the trees and...A bluebird! she thought as the little thing flitted on by. Slink padded along beside her and his pupils expanded when he too saw the bird. "Don't you dare," she growled at him, swatting at his ears with a branch she'd picked up. She could sense his annoyance as he hurried ahead of her and glanced back. "I know I'm not your mother," she said, answering an unheard protest, "But I'm in charge of you as long as stay with me, and besides, that bird was female. Going back to her nest, Slink." The feline's disappointment was clear, but he made no effort to chase after the bird.

What is it? she thought, peering out into the open. Slink decided to take matters into his own paws, rushing out to where a boy sat. The cat cocked his head to the side curiously, padding towards him and sniffing gently. The boy didn't seem dangerous and gave off no violent vibes. Slowly, he approached this human to see if it would be safe for Mia.

He glanced up at the girl he had been talking to, wondering if she could see it too, or if he'd officially gone insane and this was a hallucination. The boy's attention returned to the animal. He crouched down, balancing on his toes, and put his hand out, his fingers curling loosely towards his light skinned palms.↞☆╮孤独 恐れ

He moved till he was just out of reach, flicking his tail back and forth and turning his head to scan the brush for Mia.
She could see her feline friend now, and he was clearly not alarmed by the presence in front of them. Mia peeked out from the frilly plants and blinked her clear blue eyes, It's just a boy. she realized, standing up and revealing her tall frame. She said nothing to him, unsure whether or not they spoke the same language. Her forest spell was broken, she was not alone here. Instead, his eyes simply traced the cat as it ran out of his sight and to some bushes. He blinked, and watched as some girl emerged from where the cat had run to, and in his mind the blonde connected two and two; the cat belonged to the stranger.
Strength looked at the girl, somewhat dissapointed. What the hell? It's just a kid. The boy let out a soft, dry chuckle to himself. A scared looking one at that.
He summoned all of his wonderful conversational skills into one sentence, " 'Ey. " ↞☆╮孤独 恐れ (( Out Of Coco: I should warn you, he's a bit of an a*****e usually. ))

Slink urged her to introduce herself, but he looked as though he were a human. Didn't humans hate elves? They did where she came from. Slink wouldn't know that.
"Hello..." she whispered, observing this person carefully. What kind of human came and sat out in the middle of the woods for no reason? So many things she didn't know. And his scent...Mia wrinkled her nose. He smelled like the school. She cleared her throat, trying to stay polite, but a little afraid at the same time, "I'm sorry, I didn't know this place was occupied.
