Chris & Ryuken Location: Ortus Isle Harbor: Picnic Area Chris reclined against the table in his usual relaxed manner as Kasumi introduced herself. Chris nodded a greeting as he introduced himself and Ryuken to her. Chris discretely looked Kasumi over for a moment. Ryuken noticing this, closed his eye's to concentrate on Chris's aura. His aura's not changing that much, just ever so slightly. His interest in Robyn seems to have dulled his mating instincts. He's still scanning the crowd for her...I've never seen him this obsessed over a female before. Then Ryuken looks over to Arcanas, his attention drawn by the cigarette smoke. He nearly laughs at how nervous the young man is. He looks around between the humans and Pokemon sitting at the table, Arcanas and Kasumi are both nervous. But Chris and the various Pokemon about the area seem to be preoccupied with their own little tasks. But Ryuken also noticed a Vulpix in the distance, staring at him. Was this the presence he had felt moments before, had she been watching him that long without his knowing? Impossible! Suddenly a nearby girl voices a complaint about the Cigarette smoke coming from the table. Ryuken saw his chance, he slaps Chris on the shoulder lightly as he jumps to his feet. "Hey bud, I'm gonna go for a walk...I hate cigarette smoke." Chris looked at him confusedly as he walked away. Ryuken never complained about cigarettes before. With that, Chris returned his attention to the crowds, paying little mind to the others around him. Ryuken approached the Vulpix, trying not to be intimidating. He smiles his friendliest smile as he stops in front of her. "Hello Stardust, you look like you have something on your mind."

Ortus Island Picnic AreaKerri shook her head at Roland as she tried to contain her coughing, turning bright red with embarrassment. "I'm... fine..." she choked out, before another wave of coughing overcame her, flecks of blood lightly splattering her hands. Marill ran over to Kerri in worry, looking at her condition, before running back to the table and picking up a glass of water. "Ma, mar marill-rill!" she exclaimed at Roland, gesturing with the water. Get her to drink some water, the Pokemon meant. "Aboooooom, sno-ow bomasnow." George added, looking at Kerri sadly. She hasn't had any medicine at least since she caught me. Kerri gestured at her Pokemon and choked something that sounded like "Shut up," as she finally caught her breath, heaving in big gasps of air. After a moment she laughed very gently, wiped the blood away from her mouth, and took the glass of water that her Marill was dancing around with. "Sorry about that," she told Roland softly, her voice much more subdued and raspy than before. "It's, uh, been a while since that's happened." Kerri took a long drink and sighed happily after. "Do you have a napkin or something?" she asked shyly, hiding her hands behind her back a bit. Dragonite -- Mr. Fishy -- Chloe -- Marill -- George

Zero Maelos; Beginning.Zero scratched his head in wonder, Where could Shimo have gone? He'd only been unconscious for... Wait, he didn't even know how long he'd been asleep! How could he find his friend if she could be halfway across the island by now?! Shimo smiled contently at the two, much larger pokemon, 'I'm Shimo, I apologize for my fearful stature, I've just never seen a pokemon with such a stern look in it's eyes before.' Shimo floated closer to Electivire and Gallade, 'Actually, I seem to be a little lost, My trainer was knocked unconscious by a Golem so I decided to float around whilst he healed. Now I'm clueless to where I am or where he was...' Shimo's smile quickly degenerated into a frown, 'What if I never find Zero again?' She thought as a stream of water burst forward and hit the female trainer nearby, Shimo turned to Gallade, 'Is that your trainer with the wet bosom?'

"Yeah, I think there are some over at the food vender. Let me go get some..." Roland said and took off at a jog towards the small booth that sold the food. Ripping some napkins from the dispenser, he was back in ten seconds.
Roland handed over the napkins, then asked "Are you going to be alright? Do you have any meds on you for the asthma or something?"

The storm will rise...
The flood will raise... ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Mirai stood there still, no one bothered to talk to him, probably because most of them were either battling or talking with someone else. So he stood there, mumbling to Kurogane who listened intently. "So Kurogane, can you see any worthy trainers here?" He asked quietly. Haha! They all are worthy but none can stay afloat in a raging sea! Replied Kurogane his deep metallic voice rumbling inside Mirai's head. "I see, well then, why did you want to come then?" He asked, obviously mocking Kurogane for saying that they were the best. Because I wanted to drown them all? Mirai laughed aloud, if you were to look at him at the moment, you'd think he'd be weird for having such a random outburst talking to no one but a bell. "Now now Kurogane, I know I don't seem the type to gloat and boast, well actually, that's right I'm not the type to do that... you are, so just don't complain if we are beaten in battle" Mirai said, his voice still quiet so no one could here their conversation. Mirai and Kurogane continued conversing unless someone else came and started talking to him.

~Masaru Mori~ Location: Southern Beach "What, this? No, of course not. This is food."
As Tasha revealed the colorful rainbow of Poffins, Masaru's face started to go through every shade of crimson in the light spectrum. 'Of course they're just Poffins...' Masaru thought, criticizing himself for his embarrassing question. As he looked at Efreet, he could see his smirk symbolize his massive laughter on the inside.
"Your Pokemon are quite welcome to share them too."
At this, Efreet turned to Masaru, obviously asking permission to take a Poffin. Masaru smiled and nodded, to which Efreet carefully took a red-orange Poffin shaped like a Cyndaquil's head.
As Tasha looked back at Masaru, he couldn't help but be mystified by her sapphire eyes and how her stare seemed to look right through him. They didn't even blink once.
"I couldn't keep my photos with me, anyway. Imagine if they were damaged, Professor Elm would be so-"
Her voice was interrupted suddenly. It took Masaru and Efreet a second, but they suddenly noticed Tasha's clothing getting darker from moisture. After another quick glance, they saw her sitting perfectly still in the same upright position but now half of her soaking wet. It was almost like a "before and after" picture.
"Are you oka-" Masaru started to say, slightly worried about her reaction. He had to say, the reaction she gave was completely unexpected. Laughter.
'Wait, laughter?' Masaru thought, looking to Efreet for a reason behind this odd behavior. Efreet seemed just as puzzled, but just continued to eat his spicy Poffin.
"I- I knew- there was something- strange- about this place!"
Masaru couldn't help but start to chuckle as well. This girl was strange, but Masaru already felt connected to this girl as a friend. "I suppose so," he said, giving her a warm smile.

Kisuke snickered at the Shimo's comment. "Heh, I told you that you were intimidating," he said to Volt, nudging him at his back.
Volt scoffed and replyed, "As if." Kisuke just smiled and turned his attention back at the now frowning ghost.
"Don't fret, I'm sure that he will be around soon. Have you checked a Pokemon Center, or a human medical office?' Kisuke asked, trying to be as helpful as possible.
Splash! In an instant, Kisuke and Volt both shifted their attention to the photographer that their trainer was associating with. Before Kisuke could reply, Volt spoke up.
"No, but who could have done that? I don't see anyone around them that could have such a thing," Volt commented as he analyzed the picnic area. Kisuke became silent as Volt stopped speaking and stood perfectly straight with his arms at his side. He was using Telepathy.
"If there is any abnormal presence out there, respond now!" he shouted. His range wouldn't go far, but any Psychics, Darks, Ghosts or Aura Pokemon around the picnic area were sure to hear Kisuke's telepathic broadcast.
To reach victory as a team, that’s my dream!

"It's alright," Roland said quickly, then allowed the subject change that Kerri was trying to accomplish. "I met him before we were even pokemon trainers. Like I said, I grew up in Solaceon town, and that's a big place for breeders. He decided to become a breeder."
Roland recalled his pokemon as he spoke, leaving Arcane out. "About a year ago, he had a run-in with Team Galactic. One of their grunts had stolen some of his pokemon and took off. He freaked out, since he wasn't really good at battles. So, I told him I'd get his pokemon for him, and did just that."

As Mew was sitting there staring at this special Lucario, the trainer with the Garchomp wandered off for a moment. Mew didn't really pay much attention to it until he brought back a young female with a Weavile, who was happily eating some ice cream on a stick. They sat down a the picnic table together, and the conversation between the three trainers did not seem to pick up any. Mew looked over in the direction of the photographer that it had mischievously doused with water....she was laughing. Mew didn't really seem to care. As Mew sat there in silence behind the trees, a light cloud of smoke floated over in its direction. Mew couldn't help but curl its nose at the lingering smell of a cigarette. It was caused by the Garchomp trainer, who was continuously flicking his lighter. Shortly afterward, Mew was startled by a sharp voice, calling out toward the trainer in the request of putting out the cigarette. This was followed up by a cough attack, and Mew was genuinely worried about her for a moment, until she stopped soon after. Mew focused its gaze on the Weavile next to the girl trainer who was with the smoker. It didn't seem to notice. She was still happily, and uninterruptedly eating on her ice cream, kicking her legs in the process. Mew refocus's its attention back on the Lucario as it walks away toward a lone Vulpix. Where is he going? Mew thought. It continued to watch as the Lucario began to communicate with the Vulpix. Did he just talk!?....Only the most powerful of Pokemon can do that! This one really is something to be admired. Then, out of nowhere, Mew heard a different voice. "If there is any abnormal presence out there, respond now!" It troubled Mew. Does someone know I'm here!? Mew began reading the minds of all around it. No one had a clue where Mew was. Feeling a bit safer Mew tried to figure out how to respond to the obvious telepathic message, and it figured that the best response would be not giving one. I'm just going to move...Mew darted out of the trees as fast as it could, not minding the thought of being seen since it was moving fast enough that it would be nearly impossible to tell what the pink blur was. It headed out toward the stadium which was closed. Mew's curiosity got the better of it yet again, and it wanted to see what it was like inside. Mew teleports inside the large dome, and is met with bright lights, and an awesomely large field for battle. Mew flys up to the top of the dome and sits on the rafters. Humans make so many of these. They scatter them throughout the land just to battle Pokemon. I've witnessed great battles within these kinds of buildings, and they all turn out the same. Pokemon in teams of six rush in, fighting for their trainers, their friends, but in the end, there is always a Pokemon that gets hurt. I will never understand why some Pokemon are willing to throw themselves into such a brutal sport, but the bond they form with their trainers sometimes really does make the difference. And it seems the more they battle, the more that bond grows, and the love they share for each other is something that I will always find amazing..... Lost in deep thought, Mew stays put, frozen on the rafters....

Jake After reaching the picnic area he noticed that pokemon were out and hanging around their trainers, so he figured he should do the same. "Alright Spot, why don't you come out and say hello too." Jake held the pokeball, and withing seconds out came his Typhlosion Spot, who seemed happy to be out. Spot was Jakes first pokemon ever which he received when he began his first journey in Johto. Back then Spot was only a cyndiquil. Spot looked at Jake in confusion, only for Jake to respond with a giggle. "Don't be shy, go introduce yourself to the other pokemon, go make friends." The Typhlosion nodded then slowly walked away from his trainer. "I should probably go say hi myself. I just got here and I'm sure some of them have been here awhile." So Jake headed towards the group of trainers at the picnic area.

Robyn Location: Ortus Island:Just outside the picnic area You think you have the answer...Robyn groaned and opened her eyes. The teen wouldn't allow herself to fall asleep, that would ruin her whole sleeping habit. Her eyes traveled to the direction Stardust traveled. There were tons of trainers and their Pokemon. "I hope she doesn't get in trouble." Starting to get up, Robyn stopped herself. She and Stardust had gotten separated like this once. "Something on my mind," Stardust repeated, outraged, in the language of Pokemon. She took a slow deep breath and released it, along with a small flame. She looked away from Ryuken, continuing to breath slowly. The fox Pokemon was trying to calm herself. She snapped her eyes back to him. "I have to find out about the reason behind your behavior in front of my trainer," the fire Pokemon said calmly. Then she shook her head and added, "No. Frankly, I'm not sure if I care about the reason. Robyn is the type to put up with things like that. I, on the other hand, will not tolerate it." Stardust was trying to be formidable at the end of her speech by ending it with a little growl but her stomach growled too. Her nose had caught the sent of poffins and she licked her lips-her eyes traveling to find the source of the smell. She spotted it. A female trainer part way soaked. Forcing herself to remain seated, she looked back at the Lucario. ...I laugh and watch you fall.

Jake Jake had made his way further into the picnic area, while keeping an eye on Spot from a distance. He sat down on a picnic bench and began to once again check through his things. He thought he had everything for this trip but he wanted to make sure. Meanwhile, Spot was looking around for some pokemon to play with, and the first one he sees is a vulpix, that seems to be keeping it's eye on a Lucario. Out of curiosity, he walks over there.

Ryuken Location: South Ortus Island: Just outside the picnic area Ryuken listened intently to the Vulpix, he was impressed it was brave enough to approach him. When Stardust had finished her short rant, the Lucario smiled. "Chill out, no need to be so aggressive. I am impressed at how much you care for your trainer, that could be the only reason you would approach me. But you see, Chris is my best friend. To put it simply, I don't like the way he behaves around your trainer. Nothing personal. I was kind of hoping if I acted like I don't like her, he would avoid her. Didn't work I guess. He usually listens to me, but this time..." Suddenly the Aura Pokemon is distracted by a voice calling out to him. He stops to look around for a moment; deciding it was nothing worth attending to, he returns his attention to the small fox Pokemon. She was becoming distracted too, so he figured that ending the conversation was a good idea. "Truce then?"

Jake Spot notices that the two pokemon have become distracted, even so, the fire pokemon continues towards them, until he hears a call from his trainer. "Hey Spot you hungry? I got some poffins for you if you are." He calledThough he wasn't that hungry, he notices that the vulpix looks hungry. So he goes, grabs a poffin, and brings it back over there to see if he could make a new friend.
