Oh really...? twisted
Well then....looks like the first thing that we'll do if we ever make it to Gensokyo is fight over who gets to try to charm every girl he sees.
The only one I won't try is Akyu, it wouldn't work anyhow due to the whole situation of her not having a particularly long life each go around.
However.....the first thing I'd try to do is find Marisa or Patchy and see if there's a way to siphon magic from other beings.
And if there is, then I'd borrow a bit from Patchy, a bit from Alice, a bit from Marisa, a bit from Byakuren, and so on.
Until I eventually have enough power to go toe-to-toe with folks like Reimu and such.
At that point, I'll see if I can't make a bargain with Eirin for some Hourai Elixir.......Mind you, it will probably involve a lot of Danmaku Combat.

I was referring to a fight between you and Morichika-san, not between you and me. Plus I'm not the type of guy who likes to pimp with every single girl he sees. Heh....that'd be a cakewalk then.
I'd outwit him by showing him something he's not seen before and tell him to figure out what it does.
That'd keep him busy for at least a month.
And it's not technically being a pimp, as it'd be more like what Marisa's already doing.
I'd only borrow enough to gain the ability on my own, it'd be kinda like Rogue from the X-Men, able to copy powers/abilities, just limited to the Magician Type of Youkai.
And naturally, it would facilitate my eventual upgrade to that kind of Youkai.
Think about it, a blend of Patchy's Elemental Magic, Byakuren's Status Buff Magic, Marisa's Big-Frickin'-Laser Magic, and Alice's Puppetry.
Would that not be an awesome kind of Magic to use?

'Eeeeyyy, Mid-Boss has a point too, now that I think about it.
Heh, he may just be a Mid-Boss, but his ideas are Level-Boss caliber.

All PC-98 characters, save four, are MIA. Thus, Kourin is the main player here.

Meiling the Mighty Shingami Hiroshi archieve of magic books tatooed onto my flesh. Oh, when it comes to portable magic archives, Index has everyone beat. 103,000 grimoires memorized by word. Similar clothing even. Good luck topping that. So nanoka~ Maybe I should change up my tactics. The Necronomicon was bound in human flash and inked in blood, and I got plenty of both. Maybe I can make my self a copy for her. Ah, the things we do for love... I don't think they have something like that...I guess your best bet would be becoming an aprentice of Marisa, who is a Human who's powers come from study. Though most of your "training" will probably be collecting mushrooms and the such. If you not that patient I heard Chen was looking for a Shikigami, but being the fourth shikigami in a line, I am not sure how much of Yukari's power you would get...

I'm sure that Patchy knows spells that can do that, she's got a lot of books after all. And knowing Alice, she's probably got a Doll/Puppet that can do that. I suppose, I just figured Marisa actually being human would know the hard ships of what it takes to be a human in a youkai's world. I am not sure if Alice would be into taking an aprentice who is not inanimate and training under Patchouli seems reading heavy...

Hanzo Komeiji being Marisa's Apprentice..........What about becoming Alice or Patchy's Apprentice? Marisa is the most likely of the three to behave nicely to a human, Alice coming second. I don't think Patchouli would give two shits about any lifeform, be it human or youkai. Hanzo Komeiji Reading I can do, books are one of my passions....aside from video games and dreaming of trying to "Be Like Marisa(Read: Chram every chick he meets and then some.)". ZUN's Marisa is not that much of a pimp as you might think... although she still is the most "informal" of the three magician youkai.

Would that not be an awesome kind of Magic to use? Sounds like basic magic to me, not like each kind is a unique brand only specific to one of them. It's different disciplines of magic.
