Tokala woke up and stretched. He poked his head out the window and grinned. The snow outside was going to make things so much easier for him. Most of the creatures forget that tracks are easy to follow in snow, unless it's snowing hard. It would soon be time to do some practicing and the green male shook out his winter coat before heading down to get a light snack.
On his way out, he took notice of who else was out and about. It looked like Cam and Frey were up and about some. Not wanting to wake the others, he just waved his tail to acknowledge them. The snow brought back memories as a kit. If it hadn't been for that one vixen with the antlers, he would have frozen his little kit rear. That in his mind, he raced around in the snow, and laughed loud as the snow was kicked up and fell back on his coat.

Flynn woke up with his tail curled around his 'mate', not that anyone knew about them yet. He smirked to himself and snuggled closer to Drake. "Mmmm....wake up...." He nuzzled his neck, then licked his cheek, "It's already getting late....The Seer will be wanting breakfast...." He continued to nuzzle.
Farah as laying in her bed looking out the window. Her two little babies had grown up and left the keep. She knew that she should be happy for them, that it was only natural for them to leave their mother eventually, but she was still filled with a sense of overwhelming sadness.
Outside the castle was blooming to life, even despite the fact that it was freezing. She could see Frey and Cam, and then soon after Tokala. "Mm...." Sighing she figured she should make an appearance and walked outside, "Good morning Cam...." She said softly.

Cam smiled that gentle and peaceful smile of hers. "Farah, hello. It's quite chilly this morning." She looked back over at the sweeping view of the forests. "Amazing, how beautiful it is." She looked back at Farah, and her green eyes filled with understanding. "You still miss your babies." It was a statement more than a question.

Farah looked down at the ground and nodded meekly, "I cannot help but worry after them...." She smiled at Cam warmly, "Thank you for understanding....It is a joy to know that i have people that care about my feelings..." She nuzzled her in a friendly gesture. "I appreciate your sympathy."

Kina had been fast asleep tucked in her little blanket. She hadn't even noticed that Frey was gone until she opened her eyes and didn't feel the warm body of her mate. Looking around she could already tell it was past sun rise. Getting up she stretched out her body then trotted out of her room smiling. She had intended to find her mate when she ran into Farah and Cam. She smiled.
"Good morning." She lowered her head in respect. When she looked back up she smiled softly at Farah. "I miss them too..." She knew her daughter was having trouble.
Altair had already been up by the time the sun made its way over the mountain peak. He had made his early morning rounds around the castle to make sure every thing was in order. He was just coming back when he spotted Tokala out playing in the snow. He smiled mischievously before he used his paw and swatted a ball of snow right at him.
Drake moaned in his sleep when he felt Flynn push him. They had been seeing etch other for a wile now and even begun sleeping together. He moaned a non threatening growl at him. He really didn't want to get up right now. After the run in the forest yesterday he was all tuckered out.
((@Jinx~ I will add Keith into the tribe once I figure out how he got there and where he is going to be... at the moment my brain isn't working. XD And yay! People started!))

Cam smiled and returned the affectionate gesture. "It is only natural to worry after your children. Perhaps they will visit one day, it is not unheard of." It would probably do Farah good to see her children again. Cam had to suppress a sigh. One day when she had children of her own she was sure it would be her turn to be comforted. Speaking of children, where was her mate at....? Both were early risers and she'd gotten up first this time, but Keith had to be around here somewhere by now.
Cam's thoughts were interrupted by the arrival of Kina. She smiled at the purple vixen. "Good morning," she said, returning the greeting.

Farah smiled at Came, "I hope that they do come to visit me..." She then turned and saw her mother, "Mama..." She smiled, "I know.....they were a big part of this tribe....It was sad to se them go..." She looked around the courtyard, "Has anyone seen Altair?"
Flynn chuckled, "Come on grumpy gus...." He nudged his mate again, "You can't sleep all morning..." He nipped at his snout, "Wakey, wakey...." He placed a paw on his back and rubbed.

For once he wasn't paying that much attention to his surrounds and he got a snowball in the face. "Ooof." Tokala looked to see who sent the snowball and seen Altair grinning. With a grin of his own, the green fox sent a snowball back to the Elder. "Morning, Altair. Is everyone awake?"

Cam's ears stood up, listening. "I believe I hear others playing, just out of sight. Perhaps one is Altair." The brown vixen chuckled. "He always seems to be up and about the moments anyone else is, that one."

Farah chuckled, "That is certainly true enough....I shall go investigate for myself." She turned, inclining her head at her mother and Cam, "Thank you both again for your sympathy..." She walked off outside the gate and spotted Tokala and Altair. She suppressed a laughed as she pawed up some snow and then launched it at the back of Altair's head.

Kina smiled once again and nodded at Cam.
"It would seem it will be another beautiful snowy day." Her tail wagged with excitement as she heard two males laughing out of sight. "I do believe Cam it right. That should be Altair." She smiled as she watched her daughter walk off. She then looked back at Cam. "I think im going to find Frey... He's always hiding somewhere..." She then chuckled. "But its fun trying to find him. May the maker watch over you." She nodded to Cam before walking off to find her mate. Altair chuckled as the snow hit Tokala in the face.
"Good morning." He tried to doge the snowball but still got nicked. He smiled. "I believe everyone is awake... I-" He was cut off when he was smacked in the back of the head with a snowball. "Hm..." He slowly looked over at Farah and smiled wickedly. Drake smiled as Flynn tried to wake him up. After a couple more minutes he suddenly rolled over on top of him so he was just sprawled on top of Flynn.
"Hm? I couldn't here what you were saying". He smiled evilly. "You should speak up." Keith woke with Cam gone and the light from the sun coming in through the windows. He slid out from under the blanket he was in and took the time to stretch. When he was finished he moved out of the room and stopped to awe the hallway of the castle ruins. He hadn't been with the tribe long but even before he was accepted Altair and the others treated him like he was family. Turning he made his way down the halls and smiled as he spotted Cam at the end talking with Kina who then turned and started to walk off.

Cam smiled at Kina. "And may he watch over you," she replied, and watched the purple female leave to find her mate. Speaking of mates....
Cam's face lit up as she spotted a familiar blue and black coat. "Keith," she called out, her long tail swishing behind her to curl around her back feet. "Come on out and enjoy the snow with me!" While not very athletic, Cam found she was quite good at making balls of snow for her mate to hurl at others. The first day of the new snowfall they'd pegged several tribe members in the free-for-all snow war game, until it felt like it was them against the tribe. Cam couldn't remember the last time she had laughed so much as that day, and even with all the snow around she'd felt warm.

Farah giggled at the look on Altair's face. Even though it broke her heart that her children were gone, she did still have her mate and that was enough to bring a smile to her face. Who knows, maybe one day her and Altair would have kits of their very own.
"I got you..." She smiled triumphantly.
Flynn blinked in surprise as his mate rolled on top of him. Drake wasn't usually this energetic in the morning, though he was a naturally playful mate when he wanted too. Smiling, he leaned up and nipped at his mate's ear, tugging on it. "Get off me you big oaf...." He licked his snout, "I said up.....not roll on top of me....though with your bad hearing it's understandable you heard it wrong." He grinned.

Frey silently yawned and hunkered down from his hiding place.... hearing the sounds of what had to be a snowball fight just because his eyes at the current moment in time where closed didnt mean he was clueless on what was going on around them. "frey hates snow" he stated hunking down to keep out of sight. He was on the highest point in the castle ruins and was enough out of sight that probably only his grape maiden could find him. He just hoped she wasnt in the mood for snow ball fights either. he was fine with the snow but not when he was on it or getting pelted with it. He blamed his abadoning worthless parents for that.

Making her way through the castle she finally found Frey in his little hiding spot.
"There you are." She smiled as she made her way to him. She tilted her head to the side as she looked at him. "You seem... cold... that or your just not happy with the coming snow." She chuckled.
"So you did..." He smiled at Farrah then chuckled a snow ball at her as well. He was having too much fun and soon it would be time for the first game of the Winter Solstice Games.
Smiling Keith walked over to his mate and nuzzled her with his head.
"Good morning beautiful." He closed his eyes as he nuzzled into her warmth. "Mmm... Why enjoy the snow when we can enjoy etch others company?"
