"Good! Now all that's left is to test you and see how worthy you actually are!" she sneered, different testing ways already popping into her mind. Sosay looked at Arcus with a slight puzzled expression. "Did he just say bugs?!" she thought, her body already giving a shudder.

acadamy student ------------------ Arcus frowned slightly. He saw her shudder. sigh...nobody likes bugs, especially girls.... He tried to ignore it as he allowed his beetles to chew through his torso and crawl along his arms. He'd done it a few times, so it didn't bleed nearly much. I'm glad I didn't forget to wear this jacket. That would've made this a hell of a lot more disgusting He thought as bugs took off from his fingertips and flew around his body in a sort of lazy cyclone. Even he shivered a little, for it was the first time he'd let them climb on his face, which a couple of them were doing right then. And what sort of test did you have in mind? He said as he finished preparing for whatever the Raikage would have him do.
Kikaichuu no Jutsu (Destruction Bug Technique)Description: a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Aburame clan of Leaf village. After being born, the clan member serves as the host nest for the kikai bugs. In return for feeding on the chakra the hosts' body provides, the insects will do the bidding of the clan member. The host can use the bugs to seek out the chakra of the opponent and attack them, or use the bugs for their own techniques such as the Kikaichuu Bunshin. ((nobody wrote down the chakra cost, but i'm fairly certain there is none for this technique. Also, they haven't been given a specified rate of drain. ----------------------------- (enter from training grounds) Nagisa wandered into the training grounds, looking for where the Raikage was rumored to be. After looking around, she finally spotted her. She had seen her once, when his family moved here, but never actually met her. and talking to her... Damn, he already learned to control his bugs before me. that showoff, I'll have to show him his place one of these days... she strolled up and tapped the Raikage on the shoulder to get her attention. "I heard you were here. I am Nagisa Aburame, it is a pleasure to officially meet you Raikage... I was hoping to take the genin test?" She silently tryed to talk to the other Aburame's bugs, but they ignored her. That was to be expected, but it was worth a try. ((sorry there Arcus, Nagisa seems to enjoy making rivals for herself...)) ----------------------------- Current Quest:

Sosay turned to see a girl looking up at her. A slight smile spread across her face at the mention of her name. "Sure..." she looked from Nagisa to Arcus. "Now. Your genin test is to show me the things that were needed to take this test, in a fight. Aburame against Aburame." she explained, taking a few steps back to allow space between the two bug users.

acadamy student ------------------ Arcus' frown deepened at the sight of the Aburame, and at the Riakage's words, his shoulders sagged. bug users fighting? This isn't gonna end well... He thought as he began forming handsigns. Aburame were one of the deadliest clans. If the bugs weren't weren't called off of a victim soon enough, it was very easy for them to be sucked dry and killed. Well, maybe I won't need my bugs. I'm supposed to be showing other jutsu anyway. He finished his handseals and called out Doton: Bunshin no Jutsu! A perfect replica of him appeared beside him, within his small spiral of bugs. They both drew a single kunai from their arm holsters in perfect synchronization. My first fight... The clone said. Ok, I think I can live with that. Good luck. The clone grinned as he charged her, a few hundred bugs trailing behind him. Dam. it moves slower than i do. but she won't know that, she's never seen me move. Arcus thought. He began to ponder his tactic as he watched his clone go. In all actuality, staying behind might make it a little obvious that the clone wasn't him....unless she figured it was 'too' obvious, and figured he really was charging her. He didn't care which way. he just wanted to show off the jutsu. Doton: Bunshin no Jutsu! Description: This jutsu creates one single clone out of the ground. Its defense is incredible, and it's very powerful, but lacks speed. Two hits will destroy the bunshin. -------- Chakra 13/15

----------------------------- ((wasn't expecting that)) Nagisa was startled not only by the Raikage's choice, but Arcus' willingness to attack. He would probably would use his bugs as well, while she was hesitant to sacrifice them. Plus he uses Doton, which means my Raiton is at a disadvantage... She turned and ran from the two rivals, and ducked behind a tree briefly. she silently though 'raiku bunshin no jutsu' and ran through the seals. Then seh sent the bunshin to continue running and hide behind a large rock, after throwing a shuriken to attract his attention. If it hit, it would probably only cut him, but it would be enough to dispel a bunshin. (she doesnt know the strength of doton bunshin) Meanwhile, she silently climbed the tree, and sat for a moment to think. none of my skills are really offensive. so i need to find a way to get close and force him to surrender...

acadamy student ------------------ Arcus' held a look of confusion on his face as he watched his bunshin deflect a random shuriken with his kunai and go running after the Aburame girl, who had, for some reason, ran off and hidden behind a rock. running? during a test? He started to laugh, but then he remembered that there were many a ninja that could do damage from long distance. He still didn't know her skill set. He let a couple of the bugs crawling on his face invade his dreaded hair. so they could look out from all directions and tell him if anything was amiss. He began to walk over towards where he'd seen his bunshin run. He got there in time to see the the clone stop short of the rock. No bugs, not yet. Arcus thought, trying to stop himself from telling the bugs to eat her chakra, and maybe her flesh. He threw a kunai with an explosive tag. It stuck directly into the rock causing the bunshin to jump back to get out of the radius. The explosion that resulted sent rock fragments flying everywhere. Hope i didn't kill her. I was only trying to flush her out Arcus thought, suddenly, slightly remorseful ------------ 13/15

----------------------------- She had thought through various ways to use his distraction to her advantage but nothing really came to mind. There just wasn't any way to tell between the bunshin and the real thing... if she made a mistake, it could be her end. He probably didn't have a cold heart, so perhaps she could make him emotional? In that case, it would be very likely that the real thing would react before the bunshin. When she saw him throw the exploding kunai, Nagisa smiled. This might just have become an opening. she crawled towards the rock, feeling glad it wasn't too in the open. After she got behind it, the smoke had already begun to clear, her bunshin dispelled by the explosion. she thought quietly, ikamono chishio and wounds spread all over her body, giving an effective illusion that the hit had succeeded. she then "stumbled" to her hands and knees. she let out a cough just loud enough that he should hear it. she then looked around for escape routes in case he didn't get close enough for her to finish it. there was a small ditch to her immediate left, the bush-covered route from which she came, and there was the open area where they had started. She palmed a small smoke grenade for backup, and prepared a kunai in her right sleeve. She then crossed her arms over her stomach, and looked as pitiful as she could. ----------------------------- Current Quest:

acadamy student ------------------ Arcus' eyes widened behind his glasses. She'd almost been blown to bits! He ran over to her, stopping short when he saw that she was still conscious. Dammit, what did I do? He thought as he looked her over, her body covered in wounds. He wanted to snatch her up and rush her to a hospital. He stood up. He didn't want to fight anymore. Her injuries made him want to puke, and the look in her eyes made him want to hit himself. How could I just blow up my own clan? What is wrong with me? He thought, almost frantically. Then his mind recovered and refocused. He remembered what he'd been taught his whole life. He remembered his ninja way. His bugs responded to his call by landing on the ground and crawling quickly towards the injured girl. He stared her dead in the eyes. His nindo was what left his lips as he performed the handseal. If its worth doing....it....He sniffed at how barbaric a shinobi's life must be. He started again. If its worth doing, its worth doing right. Bouzenjishitsu no Jutsu! He shouted as he focused his chakra for the genjutsu. He could feel his body locking up and freezing as he let his glasses slip down only enough for his silver eyes to gaze into hers. He wasn't sure whether ocular genjutsu would work with their glasses on, but she was on the floor and he was standing. The angle revealed to him and amazing shade of green in her eyes. His bugs continued to advance. His bunshin walked over as well and surveyed the injured girl thoughtfully while playing with his kunai. There was no way she could escape, but if somehow she did. He was sure his bunshin would stop her. He wanted to look away as the bugs got closer to her tattered body, but he knew if he did, he'd break the jutsu. He continued to stare. Bouzenjishitsu no Jutsu (Stupification Technique) Description: The user locks eyes with the target and forces a hand seal. For as long as the two can keep looking at each other without being distracted or obstructed, both cannot move. When the user blinks, it's also over. ------------------- Chakra 11/15

----------------------------- ((he's really willing to let a fellow villager and clan member die for a mere duel? It isn't a duel to the death lol. )) Nagisa was annoyed. either he saw through her or her genjutsu was weak, or maybe she misread him. the smoke grenade rolled out of her limp hand, and the kunai slipped from her sleeve. opposite arms of course damnit... If he was that serious, she would have to escape. who knows what he might do if he would be serious enough to capture a fellow clan member, who appears to be on death's doorstep, in a mere contest. She didn't like the idea, but there was one way for escape. Sadly she thought Kikaichuu no jutsu it is then. a small trickle of bugs came from her pant-leg and she directed them to the smoke bomb. She told the bugs to smash the bomb, and asked what was left to return. The eye contact was broken, and she ran, hiding as fast as she could. He's really going to try and kill me?((i'm assuming that kikaichuu no jutsu doesnt require handsigns in this rp-verse (it shouldn't), since like all other aburame details it is fairly un-clarified at this point. plus i didnt want to let it end quite so easy)) ----------------------------- Current Quest:

acadamy student ------------------ ((he wasn't gonna kill you, probably just drain you unconscious or something. Its not his fault, he's very task oriented and pretty much 'refuses' to fail at whatever task he's given. Its in his background.)) Arcus coughed and tried to wave away smoke from his eyes. Even with added protection from his glasses, his eyes still watered. She just blew up a bunch of her own bugs!! He thought as he started preforming signs under the cover of the smoke. Doton: Tsuchi Gunjikoudou no Jutsu He choked out, holding the last seal as he pushed his chakra into the ground and let his feet begin to meld with it. He sunk into the earth fairly rapidly and once completely submerged, shot off after the girl. His bugs followed her as well trailing her in the shape of a small spiral. He came out of the grown directly in her path. He pushed up his glasses and gave a sigh. He removed another kunai from his arm holster. Please.....my only task was to become a genin. I....I don't want to hurt you. Just surrender. Losing doesn't necessarily mean you can't be a genin. He said as his bugs continued to creep up behind her. He was tired, not physically, but mentally. This was his first fight and he almost killed a kinsmen. It made him a little sick. His bunshin ran over to the Raikage. It had a look of pleading on its face. Can um....can we stop now? I think the fight is pretty much over, and besides, I've shown you all of my jutsu. I mean, I can continue if I have to but... The bunshin looked in the direction of the real Arcus I just don't really want to.. Doton: Tsuchi Gunjikoudou no Jutsu (Earth Release: Earth Military Movement Technique) Description: This jutsu allows the user to enter the ground and "swim" in it for a limited time. --------------- Chakra 9/15

----------------------------- ((a smoke bomb wouldn't explode in a way that would realy cause any damage. I think the reason the bugs wouldnt have survived would be the fact that you are basically smashing their bodies around, and i don't know how well they could survive the smoke. You also just found a stealth ninja which should be nearly impossible untill you reach chunnin, or actually used a tracking jutsu (like planting a bug)... I'll give you a break though smile good fight)) "well this sucks, i wasn't taught any actually useful jutsus..." Nagisa grumbled. she raised her hands. "did you see through it, or are you just that heartless?" Not only had he attacked a "wounded" and obviously "helpless" girl, but she knew not all of her bugs had returned. so empty... After a moment of letting the emotions fight each other, she also realied just how careless she had been. She should have easilly been able to lose him if she had not overreacted. She hadn't even tried to be stealthy! She could have jumped in a tree, or even attacked shile she was in the smoke, but she had panicked... She turned and shouted. "I've lost!" and then turned back towards Arcus. "Next time though i'll crush you" ----------------------------- Current Quest:

Sosay watched the battle with interest. This was indeed an odd sight but a good test for them. When they had finished the battle Sosay quickly stepped between them, holding out a headband in each hand. "Congratulations! You two are now genin." she stated, with a smile.

acadamy student ------------------ ((i was about to change my post, but sosay sorta beat me to the submission. I'm really sorry. I didn't see the 'and hid' part. I don't feel good now. It was sort of an unfair win...erm. sorry. we'll have a rematch one day and I'll make sure to pay more attention. gonk )) Arcus released the bunshin that he'd made. He then allowed the bugs that had been creeping up behind the Aburame girl to fly by her, some going through her hair and grazing her legs as they went. The beetles worked together to lift the headband and wrap it around Arcus' chest. The band went from Arcus' shoulder to his waist with the cloud symbol positioned on his jacket, right over his heart. Thank you Raikage. he said slowly. The bugs were going back down his sleeves and entering into his body. They seemed content with the days events, even though he was not. Arcus turned to the Aburame girl. um..I'm sorry about the way I acted. No, I'm not heartless, and attacking you was really the last thing I wanted to do especially in the state I 'thought' he stressed the word to let her know the genjutsu had worked you were in. A shinobi completes his tasks. Thats what he does. So thats what I did. It wasn't personal, and had you been seriously hurt I'd have take you to the hospital or something.....afterwards. Arcus turned back to look at the Raikage. Well the whole thing was based on the task to becoming a genin. I've completed the task. Can I have another one now? I sort of don't know what to do...---------- Chakra 9/25((also, I'm just now changing my chakra to medium on my profile cuz of my bloodline. I made the chakra 25, because I'm a genin, but do i get more for the bloodline or is that it?))

((i said i'd let you get away with it silly. I was going to let Arcus win eventually anyways, since Nagisa hasn't' really decided why she wants to be a ninja she needs a rival to effectively get sronger. yes we get a chakra boost, but im not sure how much... i'll post in a bit.))
