Buck smiled as he was nuzzled into the sun. "I'm good just tired. It's been awhile since I've moved like that. Thanks." He eagerly chomped down the rest of the fish. "Why don't we just stay here for the night. We'll make it to my den soon enough. Perhaps in a little be we can go for an intended swim." HE rolled onto his back closer to Arcane and nuzzled him.

Arcane nuzzled him softly slowly curling up around him in the sun. It was nice and calm here even if the sun was going down. It wouldn't be as cold like it was high up in the mountains. "Thank you." He nibbles his ear softly.

Buck smiled as Arcane wrapped around him and chuckled as his ear was nibbled. "My pleasure Handsome. h,Hey that tickles!" He playfully batted at Arcane twisting around to face him.

Arcane nipped up at him and nuzzled him softly still nibbling along his horns. He sighed and flopped down again and sighed his tail wagging. He let out a great yawn and curled up fully again and closed his eyes.

Buck was about ready to forget all his pain when Arcane moved and fell asleep. Grinning he closed his eyes and awaited for sleep to find him as well. The sun had moved and was rising when at last Buck opened his eyes and stretched. As soon as his muscles moved the pain shot through his body and he squeaked in surprise and pain.

Arcane was jarred awake by the pained squeak and gently looked up, he was still groggily but noticed his mate shuttering. "Buck?" He got up and stepped over nuzzling the poor male. "Are you alright?"

Buck smiled at Arcane's concern. "I'm alright, just stiff and sore muscles. They surprised me." He slowly and methodically stretched his legs out. "Well I'm not out of commission but I will need to take it slow today." He sat up slowly and nuzzled and licked Arcane. "Looks like we're camping out here again today. That water looks inviting, wanna go for a swim?"

Arcane nuzzled him back softly and gently nuzzled his back and sides trying to work out the kinks in his body. "are you sure that's a good idea, I don't want your legs to give out on your or something..."
(XD it would be bad if he almost drowned and Arcane had to save him <3~)

Buck groaned softly as more of the kinks got worked out. "I'll be fine the water should help take some of the pressure off." He gave Arcane a wink. "Not to mention no one knows we're here and there's no one around."

Arcane bit his lip but never the less helped him up and made his way to the water cuddling with him as they walked. "In you go." He was never much for swimming but he'd let Buck go in for a bit.

Buck stiffly walked into the stream and soon the floating finished releasing the tension from his body. Feeling in much better spirits he splashed some water at Arcane. "Come on in Handsome. I don't bite, hard."

Arcane looked off. "I'm find right here...don't worry." He muttered softly watching the other as he when in to the water. He did like water, at all, it was even hard for him to bath. "and I got my bath yesterday...it was freezing thanks."

Buck smiled and tossed another splash Arcane's way before finishing his impromptu bath. Feeling much better he sauntered out of the stream and shook himself right next to Arcane. "Oops!" A sly grin spread wide over his face.

Arcane glared back at him now soaked and got up moved away and shook before he snorted and lay down in the sun ignoring the pup behind him.

"Aw now don't be like that Handsome, I was just being playful." Buck dried off best he could and sat next to Arcane gently tugging on his ears, his tail moving across Arcane's side trying to tickle him.
