'Trust me, I am. Either that or get caught,' she said, glancing over her shoulder. She turned her attention back to MK, watching him intently.

I can't let that happen. Not around here. *He trudged forward as they came over the mounds, spying random Akumoni along the crevice above, praying that none were below while they came through*~AMK

Asphyxia simply mumbled "mmm" to herself, and straightened up, trying to emulate MK as she followed along. 'I guess no one thinks we look too suspicious, huh?' she whispered.

Perhaps, perhaps not. Thinking back though, it may strike as odd that we are approaching this given area without anything to dispose. Should we be encountered, we will stick with the story of rooting out the rebellion. ~AMK

'I assumed we were gonna do that anyway,' Asphyxia said. 'How far away are we from where we landed before?'

' Seriously?' She looked surprised. 'But last time there was hardly anyone around at all. This time, there actually are.'

Population seems to be nestled mostly between the hills and valleys where the wind is cutoff. Few live out on the ice sheets themselves, save for a few watchers and the occasional guardian who seeks privacy. *He started walking again; they were now entering into the valley, going downhill*~MK

'Yeah. Better known as hypothermia,' she quipped. She felt a little paranoid that, despite the armour, despite being in a different location, someone would still manage to recognise her.

I suppose the stark difference for me is that I'm noticing a fair lack in present technology. Rarely do you see smoke unless it is accompanied by a fire, there are no sounds of machines, of vehicles, of anything. Just the wind and the silence. It's rather barren for how populated it all is. *A small child above them was standing on what seemed a wooden bridge, and dropped some refuse down in their direction*~AMK

Asphyxia was just about to reply, when something landed in front of her. Startled, she stopped and looked up, noticing the child. 'Git,' she grumbled, walking away. 'I see the kids here aren't much more fun to be around than on Earth.'

'I'd have so laughed if that'd hit you,' she snickered. 'I'll be damned if I can remember now. Low flying nappies and tissues kinda derailed my train of thought.'
