Just as Yami finished her sentence a knock came at the door. Suddenly Kyrstin's whole expression and body language changed. She seemed more composed and graceful. She quickly walked to the door and opened it bowing as she did. A handsome brown haired boy entered the room about the age of 18. His eyes were a dark green and his face held no emotion. He was dressed in dress pants,a dress shirt, and a long black coat which he offered to kyrstin along with a yellow scarf. She took it obediently and put them away.
"Hello David." She said.
"Hello Kyrstin." He muttered coldly he then looked up and noticed Yami.
Kyrstin meeting the direction his eyes, turned to him and bowed.
"This is a school mate of mine from Slytherin House. Her name is Yami Mikasawa. I hope it's alright that she is over."
David merely nodded and walked toward the living room.
Kyrstin curtseyed and walked directly behind him with her head down.

David sat in his usual chair and kyrstin had his coffee ready for him on a table. He took it and sipped it. His eyes reflecting the fire as it danced about in the fireplace.
"Cream" He muttered softly his eyes not even looking at kyrstin.
As if a jolt had hit her, Kyrstin quickly walked into the kitchen and brought out the cream. She placed it beside him and offered him a spoon.
He took it and added the cream. He motioned for kyrstin to sit beside him and she obeyed without question.
She kneeled beside him on the floor and lay her head on his lap.
He petted her like a dog which she had become accustomed to.
Her face was void of emotion the whole time.

David continued to stoke Kyrstin's head and play with her hair.
He let out a sigh and turned to look at Yami. "How long have you been in slytherin?" His voice was clear and deep making him appear much older then he was.
Kyrstin seemed to be some place else as she stared blankly into space.

"I work with my father. I kill creatures that come close to revealing the wizarding world to muggles. Giants and dragons and such." He muttered sounding monotoned.
He continued to play with kyrstin's hair and slowly her neck as well.
"Does she act well in hogwarts?" He asked coldly turning his gaze back to the fire.

David sat thoughtfully. "All the houses..."He muttered softly as he mulled it over. He cleared his throat and kyrstin turned to him her eyes cast down to the floor.
"Is this true kyrstin?" He asked seeming to be preoccupied.
She nodded weakly.
"I see. I must be going...I will be back in 2 days to check on you again." He said in a hardened voice.
He caressed her neck with his hand one last time before he stood up and walked towards the door.
Kyrstin quickly put on his coat and offered him his scarf.
He put it on and turned to face kyrstin. "Good Day." He muttered.
She opened the door for him, bowed, and watched him walk out the door. She closed it behind him quietly.

Kyrstin slowly melted back to her old self and looked at her confused.

Kyrstin thought for a moment then she gave her an empty smile.
"You shouldn't say such things Yami. His family is taking care of me now and it's very kind of him to check on me like he does."
