Ken nodded, putting a hand gently over hers. "And his hand went through you?" he said, a little disbelieving. That was either a very powerful attack, or Ukiyo was a hell of a lot stronger than he previously thought. Whatever it was, it must have been an impressive attack.

Ken tried to imagine the kind of fight that must have gone on between these two. It was...well, hard to believe. They must not have been holding back at all...it's amazing one of them wasn't dead instead of alive to be brought back.

Ken nodded. He sat there for a moment, then chuckled at an absurd thought. "I found the kid by the way." he said, laughing at how late the report came to her. She'd asked him to find him ages ago.
"But he broke your window. Sorry." he added with a chuckle. "Jumped right through it. Didn't you just get that office repaired?" he teased.

Ken laughed, smiling at her. "Well, don't worry. The rest of your office is intact." he said. He put the tray on the desk in his room, then lay down next to her again.
"When you're ready to move, I can get like a wheelchair or something if you're too sore to walk." he offered. He knew there had to be one somewhere he could borrow.

Ken had stayed with her the entire time, reading to keep himself awake. When she spoke, he looked over. "Yeah, baby?" he said softly. He wondered what she could need from him....no matter what he'd do it.
