"Loyalty is what hold a person back?" Jarod repeated, getting angry. "Loyalty is why I'm here in the first place. Loyalty and love. Not that you would know anything about loyalty."

Lana slapped Jarod with the hilt of her dagger. "Your sister is learning loyalty right now." She smirked. She took out her phone. "Bring it down boys!" She said and a rope ladder swung down from a helicopter. She grabbed on and was taken away from the two Bluebacks. "So long b!tches!" She yelled and climed back up on the hellicopter. When she got back to the Ocean base she crossed her arms. "Lieutendant! Report!" She yelled.

"exactly, you wouldnt be here if you werent loyal to your sister. you wouldnt be fighting fo your life. if you dont like it, maybe you should leave. your sister can defend herself like everyone else out here." Kiara told him. "loyalty is what killed the one person i loved, and i wouldnt wish it upon anyone else." she said quietly

Jarod's face smarted where Lana had slapped him. That didn't hurt nearly as much as her words. "Where the hell is Emma!" Jarod screamed. "What have you done to my sister!" Lana was gone. Cursing under his breath, he looked at Kara. "Someone you love died in this war?" he asked.

"not exactly, it was unfair, we were unarmed and a red jumped us, he had a gun. but Trey was protecting me. how do you think Emma would fell if you died taking a gunshot for her so she could live, but you died? she would think it was her fault, and that is worse than living!" Kiaras voice was getting slightly louder

Jarod listened intently for a moment. "I would sooner I died than Emma," he said finally in an angry, hushed voice. He paused again. "They killed your man while he was unarmed?"

"we were walking and the Red pushed us into and alley. he shot Trey and laughed." Kiara shuddered. "it was a phsycotic laugh, like killing people was just a past time. it was really scary..." she wiped her eyes "i have to kill Trey's killer now." determination in her voice "that is my mission" she said.

Jarod looked at Kiara, seeing the girl in a whole new light. "I'm sorry," he murmured. "I really am." He set a shaking hand on her shoulder. "I will help you find Trey's killer," Jarod said, his brown eyes soft. "He won't go unavenged."

"Well its involves some magic, lots of technology and dont forget soap, lots of soap," he then attuned his ears to the sound of yelling "Uggh thats my cue, dont break anything" he then headed out the door and ran up to the Captain "Reporting for Duty mam"

"Magic, technology, and soap," Emma repeated, muttering the list under her breath. She stuck her head out in the hallway. "Don't worry sir, I'll be sure to break everything!" Flopping back out on Eric's bed, Emma figured that the least she could do was relax.
Jarod took his hand off Kiara's shoulder. "I'm sorry," he whispered.
