 “Excellence is not a singular act, but a habit. You are what you repeatedly do.” Kagura blinked in surprise when Jansen took control over the group. She didn't mind having a leader for the group but....she couldn't see how they could have one without any of their input. He certainly seemed to expect them to listen. His plan did sound logical though...she didn't wish to be hunted for the rest of her life. Even if she escaped them forever some other immortal would just be kidnapped and put through this. But what good would she do by going further into the facility? She wasn't in the military and couldn't fight. She wasn't amazingly smart or anything either...she was quite normal really. Slowly she stepped forward to be closer to the group an somehow managed to stay a safe distance away at the same time.
"What is it you think we can do exactly? After all they did kidnap us in the first place. Who says we can even achieve anything?" Kagura wanted to know that he had a plan and that they weren't just going to run in hot headed.“Don't pray for lighter burdens, but for stronger backs.” ll ooc ll

Yonder~
Scooting back as he had asked, Kay wound up back next to Kagura as she started talking. While she thought of all the things that had been said, she started chewing her lip. This makes for interesting times. So we can escape just now and risk being captured again, OR, we can go further in and try and take the place down before escaping. Only problems with going in further is the slight chance of death....What do we have to lose....F**k it. Further in I go. There was still the question that Kagura had asked though. What could they do? "Riiiight...I say we go further in. I mean, what do we have to lose? By going to the outside, there's every chance that we get attacked by guards on the way. Same for going inwards, so we might as well kill two birds with one stone and take out the brains of the place."It wasn't much to go with, but it was a start.

"Hell, I'm all for going in." Jayna stood, working out a crick in her neck that had been created by the collar. Now that the infernal thing was off, she could feel the natural heightened warmth her powers gave her returning. She made a ball of flame grow in her palm and let it swirl around her arm. "I wanna see how the fools who captured us react ta seein' our powers unleashed," she grinned. Then her smile disappeared, and the eagerness in her eyes turned to malice. "'Sides. They took somethin' of mine, and I want it back. Maybe I'll take a few hides on the way."

Kaileigh closed her eyes for a moment trying to sense how much water she had to play with her courage increasing as she felt the pipes of water running through the building. She opened them slowly it seemed like the major was going in deeper and right now Kaileigh didn't have a clear mind to go out alone. Besides what Jansen said made sense for her if she ran she was almost possiblity that the facility probably would come after and they'd probably have the upper hand since they'd probably find some way of using her power against her of something. She stood up trying to overcome her fear and panic as she did so, "I'll go. I don't know how much help I'll be but I'll lend my hand."

"Tough crowd..."
Kael perked up when he heard the bit of Jansen's mini speech that pertained to him. He couldn't help but chuckle.
"I don't expect any of you to trust me ... I don't even expect you to let me live if you take this supposed hell hole down. But just to make things perfectly clear, I refuse take orders from the likes of you. Got it?" Kael said, looking Jansen in the eye like a wolf would when ready to attack.
"Now, if you want to get to the mastermind I suggest you lovely bunch follow me..." Kael said as he turned and started to walk down a narrow hallway.

I'll leave it to you guys to take him out then. Later." With that Kagura started walking away down the opposite corridor that Kaim had started down with the though that, if that one leads in, then this one must lead out. She would be able to get through the scant guards with only a few problems if any. They had reasoned out the same as the immortals. Head to the center, that's where the fight is. Without looking back, Kagura left the group and ran.“Don't pray for lighter burdens, but for stronger backs.” ll ooc ll This is to get Dziva's character out the way while still leaving the oppertunity to rejoin.

Jayna watched as Kagura left and shrugged. "Well, that's one of us down. One less to worry about. One less to get in the way." After a moment, she realized how callous and cruel that sounded, and she winced at her own remark. "Sorry. Shouldn'ta said that." She looked the other way at the guard walking away. He walked as if he expected them to follow. Jayna shrugged again. "Well, he seems like he knows the way in," she muttered, "might as well follow. Doesn't mean have ta like it."

 Lt. Jansen Cygnar ”Fear monger” Follw you? I think not sir! " Who said anything about orders..." Said Jansen quietly with a distinct hint of annoyance to his tone. He seriously didn't like Kael now, never mind didn't trust, Jansen was starting look forwards to the time that he could give Kael a memory he would never forget. Standing up to his full height Jansen watched Kael walk away down a different corridor, he didn't know where Kael was heading, but he knew the doctor had headed towards the labs, and that was where the information would be kept. Turning to Kay he told her his plans. " I don't know who this mastermind is... And frankly, I don't care. I'm heading to the labs, if I can gather information on what was going on here then maybe I can increase my chances of surviving this." He bent down and raided the two deceased guards for equipment finding two radio's and a sizable knife of around eight inches, setting the radios to the same frequency Jansen tossed one to Kay for obvious reasons, if either needed help then they could contact each other straight away

It's too dangerous to go alone....
Kay watched as Kaim started walking down the hall that he had said would lead to the heart of the facility. "If we want to get to the who now? What's this about a 'Mastermind' that you're going on about? I say you get your a** back here and start talking." Turning back round in time to see Jansen throw a radio at her, she flinched as she caught it in front of her. It made sense that they would want to keep in touch with each other if they were going seperate ways. She could listen to Kaim later, but Jansen on his own didn't seem so smart. "Jansen, Take one of the others with you for back up. Ideally I wouldn't want us to split up at all, but if you're going that way, take some help with you. I'm going to keep an eye on Mr Guardy here." With that, Kay turned to see Jayna already going in the same direction as Kaim. "Then Kaileigh. Could yo go with Jansen to make sure he doesnt kill himself. It would be much safer that way as well."

Right when Kaileigh was about to head after Jayna she heard someone say her name and stopped turning around to hear what it might be about. "Alright," said Kaileigh with a nod she heard there plan to split up her going with Jansen. It wasn't her favorite solution spliting up like this but what did she really know right now? This whole ordeal had totally thrown her off and everything happening after that didn't help it. But if this is where the group need her to be then she'd go with Jansen to help gather information plus she wanted to wanted to know why on earth they'd been brought here. "Shall you lead or should I?"

Lt. Jansen Cygnar ”Fear monger” Angst pit~ " Thank you, I'm sure you will be of help. I don't know what will be waiting for us down this corridor and I don't want to put you in danger so I will lead, well something like that." Jansen said as he started to walk down the corridor with Kaileigh away from the rest. The corridor wasn't as wide as the others and it lacked the rows of doors too, it seemed that this corridor was a one way journey. Jansen looked Kaileigh over as they walked, her long blue hair and rather unique clothes definitely stood out but he still didn't know much about her, in fact he didn't know much about anyone in the group. " So, if you don't mind me asking what are your abilities exactly? I have yet to witness them, and knowing about each other will increase our chances of survival. My powers are disgusting, I hate them... they can turn the strongest of men into wrecks and send the purest of people into lust driven stupors... I indefinitely amplify emotions within a certain radius of my body of which I can increase the size of, which depending in the emotion can incapacitate and enemy or greatly help them, but I get around that with my other power. I also have the power to physically create a persons deepest fears. this tends to swing their emotions to my advantage." Jansen's words were strong, even if they were referring to himself. He spoke whilst all the time facing forwards, not once turning to look at Kaileigh. The corridor was coming to an end which seemed to lead into another complex of room, this time with windows which revealed the interior of the rooms, which seemed to be the labs.

"Alright," said Kaileigh following him as he walked past leaving the others. Kaileigh listened to Jansen's explanation of his powers closely. His two powers played off each other very nicely for him. It kind of explained his hard personality. "I just can control water," said Kaileigh giving a small wave of her hand making the moister in the air come together and follow her hands movement before making it disappear back to were it had come. "More helpful when around a large amount of water."
