Giacomo_fan Vallice I'm sry but i have to tell you that the new green day sucks not to be offencive but the old stuff was WAY better! I don't understand how only American Idiot is the new stuff, and everything before it was old stuff. American Idiot has a different sound from Warning, Warning has a different sound from Nimrod, and so on. If you're refferening to their sound changing...well it changed in every other album they recorded. They just tried new things. (Sorry if my post bothers anyone.) Exactly. I think it has to do with the people who only heard of Dookie and then American Idiot.

^^i agree with you.....i have never thought of it that way....
because if you listen to all of their CDs in order you can hear them changing so you have to expect something new and be open to it.....

the pre-american idiot i think isn't as political or deep as american idiot, but i do tend to listen to pre-AI. records, my fave is international superhits because its like everything pre-AI. ^.^

I think at the moment my favorite album is Warning. The songs my make me happy - "warning", "Church on Sunday", "misery", "Blood sex and Booze", "Minority"

Water I think at the moment my favorite album is Warning. The songs my make me happy - "warning", "Church on Sunday", "misery", "Blood sex and Booze", "Minority" Warning is my favorite album by Green Day too. Warning says more about politics and anything social in society then American Idiot does. American Idiot only seems to have the title track and Holiday as it's political tracks, and the rest of it is just the story of the rock opera. On Warning there is the self title track, Macy's Day Parade, Minority talks about being an individual and is just social, and even Deadbeat Holiday.

I saw them in concert when they came to Minneapolis. Really good performance. They really know how to keep a crowd going. It was major fun!! Their lights were astounding. Minority has to be my favorite, but I like Homecoming as well.

when i went to a green day concert, EVERYONE in the WHOLE stadium was singing minority it was freaking amazing, i cant even begin. They do have a great live preformance. <3[/color]

I started college a year after they played a concert at my college. Had I been a year older I would've gone and seen Green Day have an amazing live show and see MCR as the openers.
