shiny pok'emon are glitches in the game except red scaled gyarados i got a shiny mew, mewtwo, jirachi, and deoxys along with giratina burning_eyes

Arcanas Well, aside from the mandatory red Gyarados in HG/SS, I've fished up a gold Magikarp, and found a shiny Zubat...I had to kill it though, cause I didn't have any balls that I could spare (All I had on me at the time was the Master Ball) And if we're going and talking about the other games as well, I've got a black Rayquaza there we go now we're talkin'

The game developers purpously put them it. Otherwise, grass wouldn't glow when you chained a shiny, the sparkly affect probably wouldn't be there, and they wouldn't have appeared in the anime.
