Kazuki waved and Nina. Kazuki looks over at Leo and saw that he was asleep.
"Hey Nina. And Yes. She burned the roses. And if I bring her a book. She would've burned those too. She would burn anything beautiful. Don't wake him up."

Kazuki looks at Leo.
"Because he watches me and don't disturb me when I'm sleeping. I would want to do the same for him. Also, he came a long way from here and didn't have enough sleep. Smokey can be nice sometimes. She wouldn't burn other people's roses. She would mostly burn mine for some reason. She burns it because she knows I'm doing it on purpose."

Nina understood the cercumstances in which Leo was in. After some thought, she decided to help him in her own way. Reluctantly, the swung the guitar into playing position, and softly started strumming and singing quietly along.

So as not to interrupt her song, Nina projected a thought into both Kaori's and Sensei's head, saying ' It seem as if you have known each other for a long time'

Kaori hummed along to the alien tune.
She got up and picked a rose carefully as not to cut herself.
She sat back down and twirled it in her fingers.
'Exactly how long is long?' she murmured.

'Sorry, sensei, Kaori, but I need to go check up on the kitty. I'll see you in class' Nina thought, unconciously still using mind-talk. She finished her song, finally embarased since she never plays in front of others. Blushing, she left the garden.

Seeing Nina get up, she said softly,
'I'm sorry, sensei. I must leave. I'll see you in class today.'
She walked back to her dorm in long strides.
