1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?

Not nearly as much as I would like. I've only begun to explore my passion for writing.

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?

Most notably the Original Thoughts and Stories. I enjoy reading fanfiction as a pastime but critiquing them is beyond me.

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?

Conquer the world. Otherwise, I have no comment.

4) Anything else you want us to know about you?

I abhor ageism. While experience does account for a great deal of wisdom, and subsequently maturity, it cannot be used as a basis by which we judge character.

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?
As a writer...well I've been writing for years, reading for longer. Recently I've been trying to actually complete something. So far I'm doing...okay I'd have to say. 'Officially,' I haven't done too much. I don't enjoy writing as a form of work, so I stray away from clubs at my school that wish I would write for them. I have not attended any classes that have anything to do with writing, besides the required English, of course. If I recall correctly, I was twelve when I made a trip to a nearby university for a week and attended a kind of writing class. Short stories with provided prompts and badly written poetry. As a critique...I don't usually critique other people's works. Though I bet I could if I set my mind to it.

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
I'd have to say the 'Original Thoughts and Stories' section interests me the most, as I'm currently working on an online novel of sorts. It's an exercise for myself and a tribute to a friend. The story must be told...so I'm telling it.

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
Finish something I've started. Please, me? Can we do this?...

4) Anything else you want us to know about you?
I'm clinically insane. There's the kind of fake sugar that gives you cancer in my blood, so I'm overly sweet. I get away with things that get other people thrown in either the crazy house or prison...or both. I'm not human. I have random mood swings depending on what is happening in my actual 'life.' I'm married to my reflection. I'm kind of scary. I like to sleep. I have a slight obsession with anime and/or manga, depending on what series it is and how I feel. I like to spell things correctly, even though sometimes I will not. Contractions and I only get along on days where I am fully-fed, happy, and comfortable. I'm too young to be drinking. I can take a hit, even though I will be sad inside later. I am very random...as in make me mad and I'll throw a catfish at you. I like cats very much, even though I'm terribly allergic. I enjoy rambling. I die if I don't feed myself music almost constantly. I have the amazing ability to fall asleep anywhere, any time, and in any position. I like video games and sims [2, not 3]. My stories are my memories, though, for the sake of your sanity, we'll call them fiction. And that is not all I could say, but all I shall. We don't want you to die of boredom from reading my overly-long description of myself, now do we?

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?
Heh, I don't have much. Nothing published, still in high school. I've been writing since I was little though. I'm working on a few novels at the moment, and I have a bad habit of becoming OBSESSED with fanfiction when the urge strikes me. (I'm Maydrei on fanfiction too.)

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
Probably in the original work and fanfiction forums. I'm not to confident with my critiquing, so I don't think I'll get into that. I like contests though.

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
Eh, I dunno? I'd love to actually get some of my stuff on the shelves in bookstores, but right now I'm perfectly content with just writing when I'm bored.

4) Anything else you want us to know about you?
I'm on fanfiction.net as Maydrei also. I have a thing for Naruto romance...which really doesn't help improve my skills, but I can't help it if I love useless fluff. xp

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?
Unfortunately not much. Due to a lack of jobs from my home planet I've had more time to explore the writing side of this cat.

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
I'll probably be in classrooms the most.

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
Write for fun, mostly. Or write a convincing essay that my planet should let me come back home and that I didn't deserve to be exiled.

4) Anything else you want us to know about you?
If you didn't get the idea, I'm an alien exile from a planet of evolved cats. So, I behave like a cat. Just warning you.

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? (unofficial stuff on the side like hobbies counts too. Don't be afraid to say you're just getting interested in writing if that is the case.)
I've been writing for years. I've been roleplaying for a while, and right now I'm almost done with my first novel. I also won Script Frenzy this year. I critique other works fairly often, as well.

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
The classrooms bit interests me a lot. I'd also like to see that publishing FAQ section updated.

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
I could see myself writing a lesson on novel writing, but we'll see. I wouldn't mind giving critiques, either.

4) Anything else you want us to know about you?

I'm a social and political activist. I love a good debate. I also love a good story with relevant themes and all that jazz. I'm a singer, I'm going to college next year, and of course, I love writing.

Thank you, elementalWITHIN, for inviting me.

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?

I don't have to much experience as a writer. I do really love to write though. It's really more like a hobby for me. When I get going on something good I stick to it and try to go with the flow.

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?

I will most likely be spending a lot of time in the Original Poetry page. I'll probably check out some other things, but I've been into writing poetry recently.

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?

Well if we're talking what I want to do inside this guild, then I wouldn't mind helping others at all. If we're talking about in the long run and in real life, I want to write my own novels and poetry books.

4) Anything else you want us to know about you?

I like to spend lots of time in the outdoors. When I'm not writing, I like to photograph. I'm not the greatest, but I am working on my skills. I love to read a good book--when it's good I could probably read it in about three days. I like to sing even though I can't hold a pitch for the life of me. I also play the cello, and I'm told that I play very well.

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? (unofficial stuff on the side like hobbies counts too. Don't be afraid to say you're just getting interested in writing if that is the case.)
I have written since I was at the age of six, my very first story was about a talking horse named Fire who was captured from the wild. I wrote that when six years old and I still have it. I learned to type before I learned to write!

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?

Actually I haven't looked around yet (gomen!) so I'm not sure how to answer that one at the time...

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?

I want to become a better writer and maybe even get my work published finally!

4) Anything else you want us to know about you?

I love love love love writing, and I have a lot of free time, so please, if you would like to message me with anything; I'm here alot! Just hit the "send text too" button if you pm me.

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?
I ran writers club at my school for two years so I both taught and critiqued writing. I've been writing solidly for seven-ish years now, the first two of which was basically just a time of learning about how I wrote and what I liked to write, etc. I finished a book during that time, but I look back now and cringe. Since then I've just been trying to get better.

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
Classes area. I'd love to learn more, I really love to write and I really love writing and noticing something as I write it and making it better. I'll probably end up in a fair few areas, though.

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
Write more. What else?

4) Anything else you want us to know about you?
You'll figure it all out, I'm sure. Anything you wanna know, don't hesitate to ask.

1)What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? I have written in a few contests here on Gaia. I love to write and I've written the beginning of 3 books but I normally don't finish what I set out to do! crying I’m hoping I can get some advice to keep stories going here! Well as for school, I'm a freshman and high school so not all that much yet. but I'm going to be on the newspaper and yearbook staff next year, so I am hoping to gain experience there.

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here? I think I will hang around the classrooms and the original thoughts and stories. I love to get critiques on my works and I know there is always room for evolution and improvement.

3)What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild? Writing for me is more of a hobby, so I want to get better and maybe has some of my stories published someday. I would love to write professionally but my other passion takes priority.

4)Anything else you want us to know about you?
Well I’m pretty nice and I love to meet new people! Writing is my second passion besides my extreme desire to study ocean life. (Marine biology! rofl ) I love music and have a moderate interest in anime. I also seriously love mythology from any culture! Right now my two favorite mythological stories and from Greece and Ireland! If you want to know more about me or just talk, send me a message!

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?
I have some. Not a lot of course, I am only 13.
I'm an editior for our school newsletter and a reporter.
About 3 years ago I had gotten interested in writing. I adored poetry expecially.

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
I like the "All Things Publishing" and the Thoughts and Ideas.
I think I'll be spending most of my time in the original poetry. You hear a lot from me in there.

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
I hope to be able to improve my grammar and diffeent ways to do poetry and stories. And I quote my ELA teacher, "A story is never perfect, it can always be inproved."

4) Anything else you want us to know about you?
Nothing much.
I love to write and read. And sing.
I write songs and sing them myself.
I am currently working on a novel that is about sailing and pirates.
That you must also know.
I LOVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE OCEAN...
And coffee. Even though I'm not aloud to touch the stuff.

Well,I'm school writer and publisher.I am 14.I have been interested in writing for 5 years.Extra thing,my first story ever was a holloween one.

I like making fictional stories.I'm best at them.My reason is because I like to make up my own stuff..new ideas.

From this forum I do kinda want gold.Who doesn't?But mostly I want to show my stories. In forth grade they were a big hit!My classmates loved them!

Not much more I'd really know to tell you.I am working on a candy story..not a big hit, though. And I like people to tell me what to write about.I've always been like that. :3

1. Experience as a writer/ lit. critic:
I'm only a junior in high school, so most of the experience I have is in analyzing the syntax and diction of a piece for what effect is created and to draw conclusions on why the author may have wanted to use that effect. I'm also fairly good at gramatical revision, when I'm not throwing grammar out the window |3 Writing-wise, I've written a couple decent critical analysis papers in English class, as well as a few historical analysis papers; most of the writing I do for fun is either fiction or emotional essay, and they're very unpolished... mostly just me putting my jumbled thoughts onto paper. ^^;
2. Part of the guild that interests me most/where most of my time here'll be spent: The parts that interest me most are the Original Thoughts and Stories and the All Things Publishing subforums, but I'll probably spen most of my time in the Classrooms, the Contests, or Alternative Media sections
3. What I want to do with the skills I acquire here:
I'm hoping that with the skills I acquire here, I'll be able to weave a better story for my comics, because the story is always the most important part. Pretty pictures mean nothing without a substantial story to back 'em, y' know? I'd also like to be able to give my sister a few pointers, because she's into writing as well... There was another reason, but my silly self got sidetracked and can't remember it. *shrug* Oh yeah! I remember, now: I want to work on my dialogues. I get awesome ideas now and then, and great action and backstory, and then I kill it painfully with mediocre conversation and badly worded statements from the characters. |X
4. Things I want people to know about me:
I'm quiet, but I'll talk if someone starts a conversation with me, I love comics, anime, manga, art in general, good books, and good music. I like to draw my own comics but, as of yet, I've not finished one... I'll draw requests, depending on what it is, and I love RPGs, especially sword-and-magic ones like Morrowind and Final Fantasy.

b]1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? (unofficial stuff on the side like hobbies counts too. Don't be afraid to say you're just getting interested in writing if that is the case.)

I write all the time and plan on taking creative writing classes

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here? I'll be here and there, can't really say where I'll be most of the time.

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?

I'm hoping I can become a better writer through this guild. While I know I don't have the best writing skills I know I don't have the worst either. I hope to improve my spelling and grammar most of all and I would love it if I got some help with plot holes and how to avoid them.

4) Anything else you want us to now about you?

I love to read and to write. I want to be a professional writer someday. I write mostly fantasy. I can't think of anything else to say right now. Good bye biggrin

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? (unofficial stuff on the side like hobbies counts too. Don't be afraid to say you're just getting interested in writing if that is the case.)

I've been writing for a long time - mostly poetry and short fantasy/fictions stories so far. I'd love to be doing more though. I'm pretty skilled in grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. (This is why I want to become a book editor).

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?

I haven't gotten to look around a whole lot yet, but I'm sure I'll be spending much of my time reading others' writing, and participating in classes and writing sessions.

3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?

Write!

4) Anything else you want us to know about you?

Uhm.................. I like animals. xd And my neighbor is Teri Hall so check out her newly-published book, The Line!
Oh, and I own a roleplaying guild if anyone wants to join in! (See my signature)!
