 CallieCallie whimpered and clung to Rayne's arm.
"L-Let's stay close..." She whispered softly.
The poor Sneasel was afraid of the dark...

"Relaaaxxxx, you're with me."
Because Rayne was clearly the definition of godmodding badassery.
"Chances are there wont be anything cool down here anyways. Bunch of dust and s**t."
The Pikachu peered past the flames as she stepped down the stairs. She could barely see more than a few feet ahead of her.

CallieCallie shivered as she followed Rayne.
She was still really scared.
Suddenly, her foot slipped on one of the dusty steps.
"NYAAAAH!" She cried as she began to tumble down the stairs.

"CALLIE!" The Pikachu chucked the torch to the side, which in hindsight was really ******** stupid, and rushed down the stairs after the Sneasel as quick as her four little legs could carry her.
Easily catching up to the rolling ice type and leaping over her to spin around and catch her before she hit the bottom.
The result was Rayne being thrown back onto the ground at the foot of the stairs with the Sneasel right on top of her.
"Oof, my spinal column..."

CallieCallie buried her face in Rayne's fur for a few moments.
She then peeked up, looking around.
She couldn't see anything.
"I-It's too dark..." She whimpered.

"Calm down." Rayne let her cheeks spark lightly, just enough to fill the small area surrounding them with light.
She sat up, helping Callie to her feet too and looked around.
"Huh, what is this place? A dungeon from the old guilds or something?"
Sure was creepy enough for it.
Maybe this wasnt the best idea.

CallieThe Sneasel wrapped her arms around Rayne's ad looked around.
This place was reaaaally creepy...
"M-Maybe we should leave..." She whimpered.

"Yeah, good ide-" The Pikachu let out possibly the girliest shriek you'll ever her from her as she stepped forward and found that there was no ground before her.
There was a soft whistling of the Pikachu falling down whatever pit she'd stepped in and then a resounding slam as she hit the bottom.
"Ugh...just...not my day..."

CallieCallie screamed and ran over to the pit, plopping onto her stomach and staring down into the hole.
"RAYNE! Are you okay?!" She shouted.

"Uff, yeah...just fine." The Pikachu stood and dusted herself off and then sat back down as a pain shot up her leg.
"Huh, scratch that...think I broke my ankle."
Well this sucked. No way could little Callie get her out of here.
"Kiddo, hate to tell you this, but you're gonna have to run back to the guild for some help."
Granted the Sneasel could find her way out...in the dark...she was afraid of.
Dammit all.

CallieThe Sneasel then began to pants with worry.
"Oh no!" She cried helplessly.
"B-But I can't find my way in the dark! I can't see anything!"

"Believe in yourself! And other cliche bullshit...look I dont mean to rush you, its not like I'm in unbearable pain or anything...but can you panic after I'm out the hole?"
The Pikachu was taking this rather calmly, tossing in a sarcastic comment or two.
"Arceus, I dont know. Feel your way back to the stairs? I think I'm losing the feeling in my leg. No pressure though."

CallieCallie meeped and started feeling her way back to the stairs.
She whined as she ran into the wall a couple times.
Eventually, she made her way to the stairs.
"Stay there! I'll be right back!"
Like Rayne was going anywhere...

The Pikachu replied with a grimace, tail coiling around her leg.
"Arceus, at leas this cant get any worse..."
Why did she have to say that.
"HELLO LITTLE MOUSE~"
Oh ******** hell! Rayne glaned behind her and grimaced as two yellow eyes peered back.
"Those better be ******** fireflies...
