And the way he seemed to be in pain now... It was just too much to have been from him! He considered grabbing the artifact while the boy was down, but at this point... It would feel like kicking a dog rather than a fair conquest. "Oi, you better get him checked out. He must have a huge gash in his gut to have reacted like that." The boy called to the apparent teammate, totally unaware of the Konaga's "Special effects" or even the fact that this was a Konaga he was facing. If he in fact had known about the unfortunate clan, he would have realized it was the fault of his staff, but as it was, he assumed the boy was previously injured. The boy's threats fell on deaf ears, as David took them as the anger of an unjustly defeated opponent, which really, he was. "Next time, don't charge into a fight with old wounds!" The boy snapped back instead, jumping off the rock and towards the door, leaving all of his sand behind. He wouldn't be needing it anyways, thanks to those new jutsu he had learned. "Let's get out of here before I change my mind." He muttered, heading for the nearest place to plan their next move, the local food place. | Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | As the scene had finally quieted down, Shinji's labored breathing began to pass and become normal again. It may have seemed like he was more injured then he was at the time, but having used so much chakra and several augmentations in such a short period of time always took it's toll. His body still rather battered, Shinji had a hard time regaining control back to stand up straight, but managed well enough to stand tall as the other team began leaving the dojo. His arms and legs still aching, after a few confused stretches of his formally paralyzed arm, Shinji reminded himself never to absorb chakra in that way again, at least not intentionally.
Though the waves of pain will still coming, they were rapidly reducing in overall intensity as Shinji calmed down. emotional outbursts always made it worse, so as he regained control, the pain subsided to it's more normal level, at the very least allowing him to breath and stand normally. Clasping the medallion which hung around his neck, Shinji considered it all worthwhile as they were now that much closer to completing the challenge. "Yeah, I guess so... we've done everything we need to do here. I couldn't think of anything more in this area. We might best be served by moving out to our next destination, which is what Yamatano suggested."

| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | "Rather then discuss it, we will simply have Yamatano lead the way. We are going to his country, so it's natural that he be our guide for this leg of the trip. The less we discuss it the better off we are. As we just saw, people are out to get artifacts by any means. You can't blame them, it's not really against the rules... but it makes secrecy all the more required. Yamatano says he knows where one is, we will simply have to follow. " Shinji made no mention at all of how hard the journey would be for him.
The trip would involve moving across the Death Road, through Konoha, and then to the Mist, which would be a very long journey for him to make when he was already so tired. he would not be one to slow the group down though. They had 3 out of their 5 required artifacts and they only needed two more. There would be time to rest later, they needed to make haste now to make sure they weren't beaten to it. As Yamatano heard the plan, he nodded his head in agreement and he and Shinji began running towards the gates. Already, Shinji's body was beginning to rise up in protest, but Shinji clamed his mind and pushed it back, somehow shoving the pain to a part of his brain which would allow him to keep pace and travel.

Kaze entered the Dojo with an up-beat attitude. He quickly threw the basic scroll up into the air, letting it unroll. Kaze then grabbed it and began reading it....
From the basic scroll, Kaze only saw two jutsu he actually wanted to learn. He'd learn the rest at a later date.
So, getting ready to use the jutsu, Kaze held his hand out. His right hand, palm up. He held it there, and focused...Then, with a simple seal, the tiger seal, Kaze gathered a heat to his index finger. He brought his hand closer to his face, and smirked. 'The first jutsu in the Katon series..' He thought. The jutsu was...Katon: Ichi!

[Conditions: Tactical Ninja -4 | Genin Jutsu +5 | Training Ground -2 ]
Executing this next jutsu, Kaze would need a kunai. So, reaching into his back pocket, he pulled one out. He coated the Kunai with chakra, and then threw it at a target in the Dojo. Though, while on its way to hit the target, Kaze performed seals, and shot a breath of fire out of his mouth, to the Kunai, allowing the Kunai to ignite and then hit the target.

Though, the problem was, the fire would spread! So, Kaze quickly rushed over to it, and took off his sandal, and beat the fire until it was non-existent. "Phew..That would've been a hassle..." Kaze said to himself. "Now...Time for the next jutsu!"
Going back to the scroll, Kaze looked it over. He learned all the Basic jutsu he wanted. So, putting it in his pocket. He turned his attention to the Genin scroll. Quickly opening it in haste, Kaze's eyes looked over the scroll. "Alright...!"
Heading outside, Kaze placed the scroll down on a nearby table which seemed to appear out of nowhere, Kaze moved away from it thereafter.
Quickly sweeping through a set of handseals, Kaze executed the final seal of a jutsu. With the target as his target, Kaze thought one jutsu: '
Katon Housenka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Mythical Fire Flower Technique)! ' He thought, firing out a series of fireballs out from his mouth, hitting the target, well, a few missed. But, whatever! Nothing was really catching on fire this time! Hooray!

"I'vє гєαlιzєd sσʍєтнιɴɢ..." »Once reaching the dojo, Kaze went to the outdoor training area. The place seems it got repaired! On top of that, this place held decent memories. Isn't this where... '... I became a Genin here.' Kaze looked at in the indoor part of the dojo while standing on the outside-- It hadn't really changed aside from the repairs.
Kaze, remembering he needed to prepare for battle, reached for his scroll, taking it off of its holster, and lying it on the ground, under a tree so it would not slow Kaze down any more than it already was. Kaze did the same for his sheathe and sword, too. He didn't plan on using it in this battle. And, he didn't need the scroll to summon, since the jutsu requires hand-seals and chakra. Question is... Should he summon now, or when the battle is starting? ... Eh. When the battle is starting.
Kaze, being right next to the tree with his sheathe and scroll under it, decided to lean against the tree as he waited for his opponent. As he did, he closed his eyes and did some form of meditating, except, while standing up.
Opening his eyes, Kaze was in a dark, sort of bleak place, standing in front of a large gate with a seal on one of the bars. 'You awake..?' Kaze asked, seeming to be waking on the ground, getting close, about 10ft, to the gate. '... Guess not.' Kaze then turned around, and headed in the opposite direction, which put into his vision a small door."This Shinji boy... He seems strong. It'll be funny to see you get beaten around, boy. He'll be doing what I've always wanted to do since being sealed in your body.." an ominous and deep, and frightening voice said from behind the cage.'... Thanks for the encouragement.' Kaze said, walking out the room via the small, human sized door. There, Kaze closed his eyes. He reopened them to see the dojo's small training ground. "Sigh... I didn't want you to take up, you know." After that comment, Kaze sighed once more.

"I'vє гєαlιzєd sσʍєтнιɴɢ..." »Yawning loudly, Kaze woke up, his eyes slightly open. He rested at the base of the tree. His sheathe to his right, and his Summoning Scroll to his left. "...." He yawned once more, and stretched his arms out, and standing up thereafter. "... Shinji must've stopped by and saw me sleeping, and left off. Ah well." Kaze said, stretching out once. He looked around, and smirked. 'I really am back.'
After completely walking up by doing a few mini-exercises, Kaze picked up his scroll and sheathe accompanied with his sword, and left the Dojo. To where? Probably the Training Grounds. Maybe Shinji was doing a class?

The effects of the earthquake at the dojo weren't as strong as at the library or the Tsuchikage's Office, but it still was something to be worried. The ground shaked enough to damage the dojo but not enough to destroy its structure. It was built to be really resistant as it was a place where people would train. Yet, the foundations of the dojo won't resist another tremor.

Arriving at one of his least used training areas, Deidalus was once again disappointed to find that the Tsuchikage was nowhere to be found. "Hm. This is getting to be quite tedious." He said, his face still impassively happy. Stepping out onto the Tatami mats, Deidalus began to survey the dojo. The walls appeared to be a stone similar to that used in the construction of the academy. The floor was covered in Tatami mats arranged in an auspicious manner. "That will bring good luck, and that is something people in our field of work could always use more of." Deidalus muttered to himself. Coming to the conclusion that there was no more use to be had at the dojo, Deidalus left to once again continue his search.
