Charles looked at her incredulously. Am I a God fearing man, of course I am. I'm also a practical man who knows how to sacrifice some common decency for the greater good. Yeah I'll say that. Except the words lost their way.
"I'm God fearing and worshiping. My laws that were passed were for the greater good. So this God fearing nation can get out of the gutter and back on track. The taxes on Cannabis have tripled government revenue and decreased the national debt thirty percent. The passing of the National Execution Act has decreased the time inmates spend on death row. The Mother's Choice Act official gives the choice of abortion to the mother, as long as it is before the second trimester. These are all things that were needed to stabilize the country. Some may go against God, but the good of the people is God's will isn't it?" He could believe he was defending his own actions in front of a girl who would be classified as a slut. Still he wanted her. He knocked back the rest of his whiskey.
"Would you like to sit down?" Charles motioned to the couch.

Lilith gave Charles an odd look.
"Are senators interpreting the will of the Almighty now?"
She followed Charles to the couch and took a seat beside him; she was close, but not quite touching. Yet.
"I find the rules of god to be quite, uh, restraining...don't you?"
She smiled seductively at him and her hand wandered up high on Charles's thigh.

Pride appeared in the window of the girl's apartment, watching over Lust, almost nonchalantly. He sat in the windowsill, quiet and attentive.

Wrath
Wrath, now Saladin Khan Dragon walked out of the alley and let his senses range out. He could feel the rage of nearby rapists, the rage of men who were scorned by their wives and girlfriends. What he could really feel was the fact his body wasn't dying from the inferno of power locked at its center. Saladin was indeed a being possessed by hellfire. Again he let his senses range out and found a void of rage. Every human had rage, from the smallest of embers to the tallest of flames, or in Saladin's case a massive roaring inferno only dwarfed by Wrath's own. There were six voids. almost all evenly spaced, then he found a seventh. Lilith walked among them. Two voids were close together, another three not in the city. The last was the one he wanted. He began walking towards it, the lack of rage his only beacon.

Charles didn't stiffen as most men would as a woman touched them for the first time. He had poured another snifter of whiskey. His hand dropped onto hers stopping it just shy of its intended target.
"No, the law of God is not restrictive, the religions ordained by God are, Catholicism, Christian, Lutheran, Baptist, Mormon, and the others. I have one bible, a King James edition bible and I know many verses. I understand the word of God to a degree." She was tempting him and he was tempted to let her.
"I do not claim to channel his will, but his words. He says to govern justly and that is what I try to do. Govern wisely and that is what I try to do. Live free of sin and temptation, I try. I confess my sins to him every night and believe Christ is his chosen, to wash my sins."

It had caught her off guard, to enter the livingroom where no one was, then hear a voice behind her, though, she didn't show it. Kat turned her eyes over to Pride, a small smirk appearing on her face. "True." Lust said, putting her fingers in her small pockets, looking at him over her shoulder. "I didn't expect you so soon." She said lightly, licking her pale lips.

Lilith couldn't resist a small laugh at McCoy's expense. She leaned over Charles to set her barely tasted water down on the side table; her breasts brushed against his arms.
"Perhaps I'm speaking a little presumptuously, Senator, but that seems a little...hypocritical. You claim to help channel his words, and yet you openly endorse sin. Christ doesn't work like that; he judges by intent. If you sin willingly, knowing that you can always be 'forgiven' later, that is still the same as if you had sinned and not bother to get the blessing of Christ."

Envy, thinking herself alone along ago as she did not sense an humans in the near vicinity had started musing aloud her plans. When she realized that someone was close, she immediately shut up and sat up, looking around her with her senses. All of them. A slight smile alighted upon her lips when she recognized the force.
"Wrath, old boy, is that you?"

Charles wanted to be angry at the insolent little b***h but she was right. He didn't try very hard to stray from temptation. Still he considered himself devout.
"You make it sound like I plan to sin. I don't, I plan to not sin. I try my damned hardest to stay from temptation and keep my cool. I'm human though. We are designed for trial and error." His hand moved from hers to her leg and began to travel upwards as well, the liquor in his system edging him on.

"Yes it is I Wrath. Now in the newly possessed form of one Saladin Khan Dragon. A man in his wrath raped and killed his mother and sister. Ripped his brothers head off, massacred over a hundred people in his village, raped a half dozen women and then lit the whole affair on fire. A rage that still burns brightly even after death, only dwarfed by my own. Oh and he isn't bad looking." Wrath sat down next to Envy and wrapped one arm around her shoulders. He chuckled lightly as he continued to feel around him.
"Have you been busy my pretty little green monster. Making people envious of you. Turning them to our cause?" He laughed louder, the sound distorting slightly under his power. Birds fled in terror.
"Oops. Anyway that b***h is on the mortal plane. It seems the Dark Lord has acted to make his final plan come true." He rested his new head on her shoulder and sighed.
"My follower has amassed a few hundred followers, using the chaos I caused earlier. We will need more. At least a hundred thousand per sin, if not more." Wrath was Lucifer's best tactician on hand. His mind clear of battle rage when the battle began.

"I won't fool around in this matter."
He dropped in through the window and only took a few steps forward.
"You said I had to prove myself for you to trust me. I figured that not taking control of you with my own power would be proof enough, but I guess not."

Envy raised her eyebrows at Wrath.
"Sounds more like my kind of party then yours. What did they do to him?"
She snuggled into Wrath's hot arms, her hand caressing high on his left thigh.
"Plenty of new followers; only one 'leader' so far. It's been a busy night."
Her wandering hand ceased at the mention of Lilith.
"Lilith? Here? s**t..."

Wrath chuckled, the sound different in his ears, the vocal chords different. It was a bright tenor, if it had a color it would have been a subdue brown. He liked it quiet a bit.
"He slit his own throat after the massacre, the wrath corrupting him to his core. He did this after attacking another village and they captured him. He couldn't gain freedom and the wrath turned inwards. A glorious death by my standards." He chuckled again. Her hand had wandered high and stirred that human instinct buried in this one's body. He didn't fight it either.
"Yes she is here, and she is most likely doing Lucifer's bidding. Hopefully that will put her in place. If not then who cares. She has just as much power as we do on this plane." His lips touched her neck after this, they were perfect and her skin tasted the same as last time. He was delighted in her work.
"What is on the agenda then. Retire for the evening and begin our insidious work in the morning or continue the path of ruin for more hours." His hands slid across her cooler body. The rage emanating from Saladin's body enhanced by his own, but controlled like never before.

She was right, even the words sounded hypocritical in his ears. He sighed realizing he had been living a lie for so long. Still it was a lie that his supporters bought into, but out of the limelight he could let the mask fall and give in now. So he did. He kissed her back his arms wrapping around her pulling her close to his body. She was lithe and seductive even in clothing, what would she be without. He had to know and his hands found the hem of her shirt and began pulling up.
