❁Skye Arabelle Rhoswen❁ Her mind raced as Treachery told her of his plans. Crap crap crap… this is worst case scenario, right here. Why am I such the oblivious idiot?! She screamed at herself, mentally kicking her sorry a**. But now was hardly the time to get distracted; granted she got away, she could beat herself up over her mistake later. She had to focus on the situation now, unless she wanted to end up dead. As Skye felt his presence towering over her, she set her plan into motion. Without moving, her hands glowed as she transmuted vines to shoot out at Treachery, trying to stop the shovel by wrapping around the shaft and his arms. As she did so, she sluggishly rolled over, trying her best to get into a better fighting position. The pain in her head increased at least ten-fold when she moved her head, but it was better than being completely vulnerable. "I'm not… going with you. Not… without a fight…" Skye said weakly, dropping down into a fighting stance.

His face relaxed as he let the shovel fall. This was what he knew, death and treason. It made him know just how low a human could sink to save themselves. There was no lower, in fact. Treachery's face did not show any sign of surprise when his instrument of choice was stopped by the vines. State alchemists always liked to put up a fight. Even when they stood no chance. The vines, which were reaching out from the very bushes they stood before, wrapped around the shovel and yanked it away. A few even grabbed hold of his arms, serrated thorns scratching along his arms in their haste to hold him fast. Crying out in pain, he pulled away. The vines gave, but the thorns tared gashes along his forearms. Blood splashed around him, even hitting the girl who tried to stand ready. He saw her weaving stance and knew it wouldn't take much more to send her to the darkness. Hunched slightly himself, the boy thought quickly. "Should have known a little kindness was never returnable when it comes to military dogs. And I was starting to like you too," he said in a low voice. "However, you have no choice." Then he raised his gaze, eyes reflecting the red that had splattered on his face. Lifting one hand, he snapped his bloody fingers once. Suddenly, his blood glowed with a blue light. Each little droplet that had escaped him instantly turned into a pointed blade, the smaller ones as fine as needles. All around him, blades pierced whatever they landed upon, including the girl who had been too close.

❁Skye Arabelle Rhoswen❁ She had forgotten about the thorns. Quite honestly, it wasn't in her mindset to hurt him, but… what was done was done. She was upset, however, that the vines didn't at least hold him. Skye couldn't help but cringe a bit at the sight of blood though, shielding herself with an arm as some of it splashed on her. Bright red stained her white dress, making her angry at such a trivial thing. Still, she watched him cautiously, knowing that he was in the mood to get stuff done, and quick.
Skye opened her mouth to retort his comments, but instead of words, an agonized scream tore from her as Treachery transmuted his blood. Instantly her torso, arm and face were afire, as it felt someone had driven multiple needles where the boy's blood had stained her. Her own blood mixed with his as she crumpled to the ground, the darkness of unconsciousness finally claimed her. The last thing she saw was his cold eyes glaring at her.

Ace walks up to the front of the church looking it up and down with a sigh "Man that girl has got to be fired....I might do it when I get back to central I mean she has really bad issues even with the flame alchemist being her uncle." Ace says then enters the church looking at an almost empty room except for the few prayers as he looks for the father

(gee Ace, let us know when you're gonna do a time skip next time. I was like,"How did he get to the church so quickly and A:not see Ren who had been running their first and B: not see what happened at the forked road." Now I know. lol) Letting out the breath he didn't remember holding, he looked at the unconscious alchemist. With a grunt, he hefted her over his shoulder. Treachery kicked the wilted vines as he made his way up the left path. Trees and the winding hills quickly hid them from view as he ran up the pathway. After a while a familiar cemetery loomed ahead of him. He patted a stone pillar that served as a marker as he passed. Only a little while longer. Then he could add her to his collection. Until then, he carried the girl gently up the gravel driveway to his little home. A wind chime tinkling as he rounded the porch to the open door. "Lust," he called in a dead toned voice.

"Hello Treachery, I see you brought a guest with you." Lust said as she stood from her chair. A deadly smile graced her lips as she walked closer. "So what do you thing we should do to her." The woman said as she looked over the girl. "I see she tried to struggle, I love it when they try to fights. Its just so fun to watch them squirm."
Lust laughed as she sat back down, her face had lost all emotion she acted like she had. "Now tell me everything, I know that main brat is here. I don't believe there are only two of them. Now come on you can't hog all the fun to yourself."
Another laugh filled the empty room from Lust. Of how she love to watch humans, and their little emotion's acting like they where all high and mighty. It just made it so much more fun to watch them fall.

"Tie her up for starters," he said with a deadpan face. "I don't want her able to use alchemy when she wakes." Setting the girl on the floor abruptly, he walked to the kitchen sink and grabbed one of the unused towels. No grimace turned his face as he wiped vigorously at the wounds on his arms. Calmly he told Lust what happened while using the rope under the sink to bind the girl's hands in opposite positions behind her back so the palms could not touch. Then he tied her feet together. The entire time his eyes never strayed from the alchemist, half expecting her to stir, but knowing she wouldn't. "So we know there are two agents and possibly a third. How do you wish to proceed?" he asked the homunculus at the table. Stepping back from his task, he snorted in approval. She wasn't getting out of that for a while. His brown tinted eyes shown with no life as he turned his attentions to Lust.

❦Sloth❦ ❦Walking through life unnoticed, knowing that no one cares❦ She sat in the corner quietly, not caring if neither one of the other Homunculi took notice of her. It was her style, after all, to just be in the background. She preferred it that way, just because it took too much energy to be in the spotlight. Still yet, it was a bit annoying that Lust had called her out here, to this boring town, without so much dropping a hint to what the plans were (not that she had cared to ask). So Sloth just decided to let the other woman answer, as it was in her nature to do so.❦Too consumed in their masquerade, no one sees her there❦

"Well I say you use this one to lure the other one or two some where, just not here. Have as much fun as you want with them." Standing up she went back to her window. "Either way we will at least have one more to add to our little experiment."
Lust looked to the corner opposite of Sloth. Where a larger container was filled with a red subsistence. "I really don't care how you continue just do so." Her voice was harsh, to her it was no different. She crossed her arms over her chest. "We are so close yet so far from our prize. These stupid town folk only think its a plague. The idiots may be on to us, but as long as we give them some what of a show they'll fall like they always do."
Lust turned back to the window at the setting sun. The stone was almost in their hands. They just needed a few more fools to fall prey to them. So much to do so little time to do it. Then again they where almost immortal so all was fine.

❦Sloth❦ ❦Walking through life unnoticed, knowing that no one cares❦ "Do I help?" Sloth asked quietly, not bothering to use proper grammar. Besides, the others were already used to understanding her shortened sentences, so there was no need for her to elaborate. She didn't move from her position, just sat there like a statue. Much like how Treachery was seated back at the graveyard. However, there was no signs that she was indeed living; no rise or fall of the chest to indicate breathing (didn't need to), nor an occasional blink of the eyes. Only her hair swirled around her head, very much alive and dripping with anticipation for something to kill.❦Too consumed in their masquerade, no one sees her there❦ [[Skye's only gonna be out of commission for a while because she's seriously out. So… probably not until someone either 1) makes one hell of a ruckus or 2) really tries to wake her up]]

"Your experiment you mean," he amended for her. He never came up with the plan, but had been a willing participant. For the most part at least. "Fine," he said, a little annoyance entering his voice.Treachery turned his deadened gaze to Sloth. Silence filled the air for an undetermined amount of time. Calculations, it was all about calculations. "Yes. . . please. I think you would be beneficial," he decided with a nod. Walking into the other room, he packed a bag with a few needed necessities. Then he returned and set it on the table. Striding to the cupboard, he threw it open lightly and grabbed one of the many canning jars left empty there. The boy then went and filled it with the substance, dipping it into the vat slowly. "We'll need just a little of this," he assured her. He knew she was very protective of the bits they managed to contain. But you can't catch fish without bait. And the fish they were about to snare needed particular bait. "Sloth. Please take this and hold it safely til we get there," he told her in a smooth voice.

❦Sloth❦ ❦Walking through life unnoticed, knowing that no one cares❦ She nodded once, slowly moving her head up and down. Instead of taking it with her hands, however, her teal hair gently wrapped around the can, cradling it against her. She eased herself into a standing position, looking into empty space with dead eyes. She waited silently for Treachery's signal to go, in no hurry to get anywhere.❦Too consumed in their masquerade, no one sees her there❦

Satisfied that she had the jar safely held, Treachery returned to grab his bag. Opening it, he pulled out a little baggy. While he opened it, the boy knelt down beside their captive and pulled a hair from her head. He grabbed two, just in case and placed them inside before depositing it back into the duffel.Throwing it over his shoulder, he looked back to Lust. "If you get bored," he said in a dull voice accompanied by a shrug. "You know where the party will be." With a nod to Sloth, he trudged back outside, shovel in hand. Sometimes, he wondered why he ever joined this group of wayward homunculus. As he made his way back to the old cemetery, he thought about his collection. He knew why. They were the only ones who understood what he was and didn't cringe away. They didn't judge his actions. In fact, they often coincided nicely. But what would he do once they gained the power to be human again? Would they go their separate ways? Or were they fated to be together for eternity? He didn't mind the prospect really. He enjoyed Sloth, for all her tendencies. And though he butted heads with Lust the most, he knew he could tolerate her. (wow, some rambling thoughts from the dead centered Treachery. lol)

❦Sloth❦ ❦Walking through life unnoticed, knowing that no one cares❦ Sloth followed her partner out of the door, her bare feet making no noise against the ground as she walked. She made a conscious effort (a rare act for Sloth) to keep the bottle from spilling, though her hair had it so secure it didn't even ripple when she walked. "Where?" she asked, seemingly looking past the back of Treachery's head toward the distant town. She did not mind the shovel at all, actually giving a short look of curiosity. If she really bothered to care or even wonder about it, Sloth would have wondered why he had taken up that occupation, of all things. Maybe she would, once they were human again. Perhaps she would even stay with this odd group afterwards. The only thing she liked about them was that they didn't find it creepy that she hardly ever talked or moved; they just accepted her for what she was. Didn't try to change her, didn't lecture her to get off her a** and do something. She had enough energy in her to spare for her to appreciate the lack of thereof from the other Homunculi.❦Too consumed in their masquerade, no one sees her there❦ [[lol, I thought of the song "When We're Human" from Princess and the Frog just as I was posting this xD]]

Ace walks up to one of the priests and asks about the father of the church being told he was on the top floor. Ace starts to head up the stairway wondering what is going to happen once he gets up to the top.
