[New idea, but I dunno if you, specifically Aurora, will mind. x33 Plus its kind of a nucky post. n.n;; Swamped in hw. ]
Sachi suddenly paused in the middle of her cleaning job, glancing upwards to look at Aurora. She was leaving already...Biting her lower lip, she gripped the wooden stick of the broomstick. Perhaps it would be a good idea. No..But then again, she needed it! Heaving a large sigh, she swiftly walked over to Aurora, hopefully unnoticed as well."Aurora..." The unpracticed name on her tongue sounded awkward, but she rushed on with her ideas before her nerve left her.
"Aurora, I was wondering. You're really powerful...And since Raeka," her voice became even quieter, softer. She had no idea what would happen to her without him; he was the person that had always been closest to her growing up. "When he comes to, I want him to know that I haven't neglected my studies. I want him to wake up and see me and be proud of me." Lifting her lashes, she glanced up, trying to gauge the other female's expression. "Therefore, I want you to train me. I want to learn things that I might not be able to under Raeka, and I want to become as strong as you. That might be too much to ask, but please consider?"
Taking a deep breath, she fiddled with the stick in her grasp, forcing herself to keep her gaze on Aurora. "So..?"

...A new target.
A young man stood behind her. His face was not visible from beyond his cloak hood. Infact, that only thing that gave away his gender was the sweet scent of masculinity. A few strands of blue hair fell out from his hood as he bowed his head forward slightly. A gentle laugh came from the shade of the hood. An unseen smile crossed his face. 'If you aim for me, you will go without food.'
'What do you want?!' Naru shouted defensively. The fear could easily be seen in the young lass' face, but she tried her best to hide it.
'Are you frightened little girl?' he chuckled once more. 'I can see right past the mask you're trying to put over your face.'
'Stay back! I'll shoot you!' A tremble came up her arm.
He reached unto his cloak and slowly pulled something out. The sound of metal came from within. He slowly pulled out a dagger about 5 inches in length.
Frightened for her life, Naru released the grip on her bow and shot the arrow for the mans head. He tilted his head to the right, slightly. The arrow passed right by his cheek, slicing him slightly and ripped right through the back of his hood. He quickly and precisely shot his dagger towards her.
She closed her eyes tightly. Waiting. A strange sound could be heard from behind, but she figured the dagger would have peirced her skin by now. She opened her eyes, fearing it hit her so that all the nerves were severed, rendering her unable to feel pain. Then she realised, she hadn't been struck. She looked behind to notice a snake pinned to the tree by his weapon. A rather venomous species, no less.
An epiphany had come to her. This mysterious man had saved her life. Tears had already began to run down the youths face at this point. Turning around, Naru realised the man was crouched down just infront of her.
'So young... You shouldn't be here. You're not ready to be in the wilderness yet.' He wiped both tears from her face. 'There there, child. It's okay. Everything will be fine now.'
The man pulled the hood from his head. A trickle of blood slowly ran down his left cheek. The depth of warmth in his eyes were the first things Naru noticed. She couldn't help but break out into tears once more... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Naru remained in Rikkus arms, unconsious. Everyone was quiet. With all that had happened, was there any wonder no one knew what to say. It seemed that the only one who was known by all was Diablo. Everyone was a stranger to everyone else. The tension among them was thick enough to slice through.
Aurora seemed to be the one to break the ice. She was the first to speak up and it seemed she wanted nothing to do with anything here. Walking out, all Rikku did was watch. She was too frightened to speak out, but the teen wanted Aurora to stay. Rikku had trouble explaining it to herself, but she felt somehow safe having her around, despite her near violent outbreak.
All eyes were on the door as she bid her farwells. However, it seemed one was just brave enough to take a step of action. Sachi had slowly, almost hesitantly, approached from behind. The next question came as a shock to most. 'Will you train me?' Joseph and Rikku were taken especially by surprise, as they had no one to train them. Rikku always had Curio, but it seemed he was the enemy now. Joseph had Diablo in the past, but Diablo had set his position aside and given it to the Lady Kaori of the Shinigami clan. He had left without even notifying them. Hopefully, they understood.
After a question had set in, a daunting silence followed. Rikku was afraid to speak out at first, but Sachi had stated what Rikku had hoped to say. She felt somewhat low about herself. Rikku was not affraid of any foe. Not even the big guy. She'd jump into any bout, no matter how outnumbered she'd be. She was even brave enough to fight the elder elf, Diablo. But when it came to voicing her emotions, there wasn't a thing in the world that scared her more. She bit her lip momentarily and struggled to find the words to stay.
"Please Aurora... Please stay. If not here in the inn, atleast stay within the vicinity. I really... think we... need you..."
Joseph gazed at his sister, despite not knowing she was related by blood. He never thought that this young girl, who had once tried to kill him would be fighting so hard to keep this band of people together. He wondered what her intensions were now. Turning to Aurora, Joseph smiled. "Yes. Please stay. I can tell already, Diablo won't be the only one who'd enjoy your company."
((If you want to leave, you can. ))

*Aurora turned to look at Diablo and makes herself smile a little until she hears Sachi. Aurora turned and looked at the girl she had helped with her spell.*
"But I am no fighter if that is what you wish to learn, I am a healer."
*Yes, she could fight if needed to, but she would rather be a healer.*
"I do not know how well I will be able to help you...."
*She heared Rikku and Joseph, she then moved to look at them both. Her eyes then fell upon Naru. She knew who's sister this woman was. Slowly she walked over to Rikku and Naru, her face no longer showed any feelings at all. This was the woman she had said she would hurt to get the info she wanted. She knelt down and then gently rested her hands on the woman's body, she whispered.*
"Tanka harwar."
*Aurora's headjewel shined a bight blue as her eyes and hands glowed a deep violet, soon Naru's body was swallowed up by the violet light pouring from Aurora's hands. This would help heal anything wrong with Naru.*

He continued to stand outside the bar, his eyes wandering from Aurora's face which held a strained smile. He was unable to handle the forced emotion as it tore at him. His hand moved up and brushed some of his from his face, so much had happened on this day and now that it was nightfall it seemed as if all was calm, all that showed from the battle earlier on was the forest that had been damaged, it pained him that he had caused the forests that allowed them to take up residence harm but what was done was done.
His attention was cut short by Sachi's questioning of Aurora as he then looked back to Aurora out of the corner of his eye to see what she would say. As she answered he gave her a semi-questioning look, something had seemingly changed within her that seemed odd to him. It was almost like she had lost a part of herself while on her travels and it had been replaced by something else, a bit colder. He couldn't put his finger on it but he dropped the thought as he must have been over thinking it, after all they each had their own events that took place on this day and tension was still high.
He peered into the bar now at Naru, he always considered her as his older sister in a sense, even if she was a cousin, they were always close and to see her in pain bothered him. He watched as Aurora strided over and healed her but there was the mental trauma that she had endured that will last for a long time, and that bothered him greatly for he knew that only she would be able to deal with those.
His ears picked up Joseph and Rikku's words of asking her to stay, but what was bothering him is that Aurora said nothing to them in response. Was she to leave again like he used to do when he had heard news of Curio? He stared at the back of her head trying to figure out what to do to get her to speak of something other than "the buisness at hand" and sit down to talk to the people around them and get to know them.
He looked away and then turned his body away to stare out into the forest, he knew Valindil was out there and he had to find him. There was still many questions that were left unanswered by him, as well as the events after the kingdom had fallen. These were things he had to know, what had happened after that kept his friend away? Was he playing a double role and playing him for a fool so that he could set up to betray him later? The turmoil within Diablo could probably be seen upon his face as his eyes drifted to the ground, hence why he had turned around to advoid the gaze of the others as to not worry them.
(*Yawns* There we go, now stop bothering me. xD)

Sachi nodded understandingly to Aurora, a bit let down. But still, knowing to heal was a great power, and would help her in the future without a doubt. And she could tell right off the bat that Aurora was a strong fighter if it ever came down to it. The teen opened her mouth to respond, but silenced herself when the woman made her way to Naru.
When she was finished, Sachi glanced around her to guage everyone's expressions. The feel around her seemed strained, as if everyone was hiding something. It was impossible to shrug off the feeling, and it only made Sachi more tense. Pursing her lips, she squared her shoulders and faced Aurora.
"I can tell from what Raeka taught me, you're a great healer and a great fighter. Teach me how to heal." Although she worded her reply as a command, it was really a request. It was important to balance her skill between healing and fighting, and who better to teach her than Aurora.
Her gaze flickered to Diablo quickly. He was bound to be affected by her question, and to Aurora's response. He seemed more distant the rest, and biting her lower lip, Sachi resisted the urge to run to his side and ask him what was wrong. She'd only known him for a while, but she'd grown fond of him, seeing as he had been the one to offer to train her.

A cold autumn breeze blew through the trees. Crickets chirped cheerfully as the small critters went about their business. The moonlight had shone down upon the dead of night and all along the forest. Most of the tree's had already began to loose their leaves. Another light source could be found near the forests edge, right where it turned to prarie grassland.
The wood cracked as the fire ate away at it's composition. Embers flew up into the air. Twas a beautiful sight. A few feet from this burning inferno sat a young blue haired male, though half blind, watched the flames very carefully. Eager for his new 'companion' to awaken. Atleast, he saw her in this light.
A few feet away, covered in think blanket, lay the a delicate young lass, about 16 in appearance, though it was impossible to tell her true age. A drop of water fell from the tree above and trickled down onto her pointed ear. This was enough to awaken her. He eyes opened slowly. With a sudden realisation of the situation, she sprung up from her slumber and glanced around.
Not knowing what to think, she looked around confused. A voice from behind interupted her investigation.
"I see you've finally awoken. Did you rest well?"
A recollection occured to her. "You... you saved me."
The male smiled sweetly. "I'm glad to see you remembered." This caused the girl to question his statement. He caught on right away and quickly responded, "You fainted soon after I approached you. I figure it was from how hard you've been pushing yourself. You seem like you're too young to be out in the wilderness."
"Don't you dare tell me what's good for me! You don't know me! I'm 56 for God's sake!"
"Aye. But you still seem quite youthful in appearance. They say on occasion, some elves act the age they seem."
She couldn't say much to that. She was quite immature given her age. They both remained silent for a moment. The male finally broke the silence.
"Name's Faenaro..."
"...Naru."
"Pleasure to meet you."
A strange warmth began to creep into Naru's cheeks. Was she blushing? 'Oh no,' she thought. 'I hope it's too dark for him to notice...'
"You don't have to get embarrassed around me," Faenaro said with a grin.
Naru wanted to die inside. ((xD)) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Naru rested peacefully, unknowingly in the arms of a stranger. She didn't know it earlier, but her little water trick with the dagger had caused some internal blood lose, which was the initial reasoning for her light headedness and fainting. Though no one else knew it at the time, but she'd be unconcious for a couple of hours while her body replenished it's lost blood.
Joseph made his way over to Aurora. He looked down at the unconcious elf that lay in his unknown sister's arms. He turned his glance over to Aurora. "You healed her, didn't you?" That in itself was pretty plain to see. There was another question that lay in the back of his head. Did she know Naru needed healing?
He didn't really wait for a responce before he took action. Knowing the bar had a series of bedrooms on the top floor, he figured that Naru would be better off resting upstairs. Since Naru was the only other person present that he had once bonded with, he felt most comfortable handling her. Lifting her from the pink-haired girls lap, turned to Diablo, stating, "I'm gonna take her upstairs. She needs her rest."
He waited for the famous Darkfire nod of approval, then turned around and made his way up the stairs. When he reached the top, he chose the door on the farthest end of the hall. It was on the right side of the hallway. This was the room he used to sleep in when he and Diablo called this building their dwelling. He turned the knob while still holding Naru and slowly opened the door. When the door was fully opened, the room beckoned him to enter. Thus he did. Walking up the bed, her placed Naru down gently. Pulling the covers over her, Joseph watched as they slowly fluttered down upon her body. He admired the elfs elegance for a moment.
She quietly made herself comfortable. Cuddling up in the blankets, she unknowingly pulled them closer to her face. Hidden beneath the covers, a gentle smirk crept across her face. Joseph smiled. "It's good to see you again." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ After Joseph left, a terrible silence befell the entire bar again. Raine was still primarily concerned about her brother. He knew that by now, all his injuries would have healed and that he would make it through the night. But she still felt this odd worry for his well being.
Rikku's main thought was trying to get her brother to realise her existance. For 14 years, she didn't even know he existed. Now she finally found him, he doesn't even know that she exists. The teen spent the last 2 years walking the land, trying to figure out what she should do with her life, all the while wondering why Curio sent her after her own brother without even mentioning their blood relation. This was her reason for hating that man.
Unable to bear it any longer, she stood up and turned to Diablo. There were a few questions that remained unanswered. "Diablo," she shouted, "It was 2 years ago, in this exact same spot that I met you. There was something you taught me that day that has changed my life and there are still some things that remain unanswered."
She paused for one minute to allow him to realise what she was saying. Without even waiting for a responce, she went on to say, "Why have you not told Joseph that I am his si--"
"Sister." A strange vioce rang from outside, unfamiliar to most, though it would raise the spirits of two in the room. All eyes were at the door. What was seen was a slight shock. Two youth, one about 16, male, long black hair. He wore goggles on his forehead and a bandana loosly around his neck. A heavy hooded sweater lay under an orange coloured puffer vest. He also wore big black boots and a pair of baggy cotton pants that sort of tucked into his boots. His hands were covered by a pair of thick black gloves, while his right arm was wrapped in bandages and his left bore a thick metallic gaunlet. He had two katanas attached to his belt, aswell as a pouch attached to his right hip.
Behind him stood a strange girl, who wore just a flower patterned kimono, aswell as wooden sandals and white silk socks. Her hair was done up as if she had just come from a formal oriental party. She she didn't seem oriental in the least. One peculiar thing about her appearance stood out to some. The bamboo threaded armor attached to either one of her hands hidden beneath the large kimono sleeves.
The male smiled. First he looked at Raine. Raine gave him a glance as if to say 'what are you doing here?' He then nodded and turned his attention to Sachi. "Sister... I'm so glad you're okay."
((Thought I'd try to make things interesting. It might be a good idea for you (Sachi) to PM me so I can fill you in on what's going on here. Everyone else... roll with it. xD))

Aurora had watched Joseph as he took the woman she had just healed away. Softly she sighed, to make sure everyone was alright she did the only thing she could think of. Aurora stayed very still as she closed her eyes, gently in small waves she sent out her healing gift thoughout the whole building. The waves were strong yet still very gentle, it would be easy to trace the healing back to her. Once she felt that she had sent enough, she stood up slowly and made her way over to Diablo. Her voice was like a song as she spoke, it was touched with both saddness and tiredness.
"I will stay...."
Her eyes fluttered up to the rafters before finishing.
"...in my normal place."
She looked back to Diablo's face, her look held that it was her wish, yet she still looked to Diablo with the same gaze as she use to give him in the bar to say she will listen to anything he had to say. Slowly she looked over her shoulder to Sachi a tired smile slowly appeared acrossed her lips.
"Your first lesson will start once I have rested, child."
Once more her gaze returned to Diablo.

Diablo's eyes remained adverted from the others as the patrons of the bar went about their buisness. As Joseph made his way up stairs he glanced out the window, he noticed movements outside of two people, and their footfalls were unfamiliar to him. He was unsure as to how to go on about this, since this place was no longer his 'home', his mind then set on the unfamiliar term of 'home.' He never had a true home, even as a child he was always on the move after the kingdom fell. Sure he had places he stayed at but most of them never felt like this thing otehrs would call a 'home.' But then, he was an Assassian on a quest to avenge the loss of the one place he had really called home, and the loss of his family.
His eyes narrowed at the wall, his family stood within the bar currently. They were not related by blood to him, but unknown to them, he'd willingly give his life for each of them if the time ever came.
His eyes fell onto Rikku as she asked her question, but before she could finish her sentence a voice called out finishing it for her. Before anything could be said, his response to Rikku was simply put as. "That is because he's not mentally prepared to learn that yet, give it time and he'll find out on his own, unless you wish to give up that information. Just remember that he is more fragile mentally then you'd think." He was subtly refeering to the demon that resided within Joseph, he really did not know how it came about but it was now important to keep Joseph's mind as stable as possible.
His eyes lowered to the floor as Aurora spoke of her "normal" place as it reminded him of the old bar and all the memories there. He then spoke quietly, "The normal spot as you call it does not exist within this domicile as there are no rafters, I'm sorry to say." He looked back up at her, he felt pained that he had never thought about it before now to make sure he'd set up a place for her, but then again looking back on it, he had no way of knowing she'd one day find him.
His eyes turned back to where the voice had come from, and then to Sachi, he then asked, "Do you know them? For I know the siblings of all but you within this room, so I'm guessing they are here for you." His hand had moved to the hilt of his smaller sword, his thumb pushing it up slightly to loosen it for quicker access just in case. The blade he had used earlier when fighting Curio still laid leaning against the door frame out of range of his arm so this would have to do.
(x.x I'm sorry for the crap post, I've been feeling all broken and stuff.)

Sachi squirmed uncomfortably as silence reigned in the bar for a moment. So much was happening, it was hard to absorb it all. She glanced off to the side for a moment, jerking back to reality when Rikku's voice broke the quiet and rang in her ears. The longer they stayed together in the bar, the more secrets from the past were beginning to unravel. Interesting as everything was, everyone's evasiveness was starting to take a toll on sum. Glancing over to Raine, she winced, sensing her worry for Raeka, who had nearly raised her when she was younger.
Somewhere between Rikku's shouting, a different, but very familiar voice interrupted her. Eyes wide, Sachi slowly turned and faced the tall male teen, mouth slightly open. Recovering herself quickly, a grin spread across her face. How long had it been? Withiin moments, she was by his side, hugging him briefly before letting him go.
"Brother! What are you doing here!" To her, the mood in the bar had lightened significantly, but it seemed that some people were confused. A small voice in the back of her head was questioning about the other female behind him, but she pushed the thought out of her mind. Her eyes scanned her brother, as if she was looking for any large difference in him since the last time she saw him. The bandages were new, she'd have to ask him about those later. Sachi looked at him quizzically, but at least he hadn't changed much, and she was extremely glad to see him.
Turning to Diablo, she smiled. "Yes, this is Issac, my brother." Her eyes immediately shifted to Diablo's sword, and she looked at him pointedly. "It's alright, really. But..." She swiveled around quickly again, looking at the face which resembled her own a bit, seeing as they were fraternal twins. "Who is she?" she murmured quietly, throwing a curious glance towards the girl.

Silence. Oh what a lovely tune it plays. The melody of nothing at all. It's so sickening, it cuts right through you. It slowly drives you mad. Born into a world of audio, deafness is tragedy.
Neither elves were deaf. The just didn't know what to say. Faenaro mainly for not having ever dealt with the female species other then elders, wasn't sure how to address the young girl who sat across from him. Though he did learn a lot from the elders, so this was only temporary, until he could find suitable words to speak.
Naru felt uncomfortable. Who was this strange man? What did he want with her? For all she knew, he was a diranged killer who had just found his latest victim. There are some really sick people out there. For all she knew, he was going to scalp her and wear her scalp around like a wig. Or maybe she'd be boilded and eaten.
Faenaro admired the girls beauty. One thing he was always good at was observation. He could always notice things. It's like indirect mind reading. Based off of ones actions, you can have a brief overview of what the person is thinking. This girl seemed very troubled. Perhaps the silence was making her feel uneasy. Maybe he should show her that he's not harmful to her.
Feanaro stood up and walked clockwise around the fire. Naru was so lost in her fabrications that she didn't even notice him coming. She seemed to be staring blankly into space at this point. Crouching down infront of her, his face was about a foot away from his.
Naru noticed he was right there. She shrieked in surprise and fell backwards off the log she was sitting on, only to land on the solid ground behind her. Faenaro laughed gentley. "Need a hand?" he questioned, reaching down to help her.
She blushed again.
'She's kinda cute', Faenaro proclaimed to himself.
'Agh, he's so creepy!' Naru beat herself up for not running away. 'But still... he's so kind. Maybe he isn't that bad....' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Get some rest." Joseph wispered to his new, unconcious companion. He sighed. Today was very rough. His body never ceased to amaze him.
He began his journey here 2 days ago. He had a strange hunch that something would occur at the bar. His old home. This was his old bedroom, too. So many nights would he come up to this room and slumber. Now it looked like Naru was taking over. Joseph admired Narus' beauty. She looked no older than 30 years. Really makes you wonder how old she really is.
Gravity was taking it's effect on the youths eyes. A funny thing about Joseph was that he could go days without feeling one bit fatigued. The past two days had been very long. It wasn't too long ago that the Shinigami ball took place. The following day was quite eventful and the 2 day journey and the battles from today didn't help much. He was rather drained.
Eying the corner of his room, it looked quite inviting. But something caught his attention. Something was going on downstairs. "There are two new auras? One male... One female...." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Sister...?" The final words of Rikkus' sentence was finally heard.
The strange male hugged Sachi as she approached and held on to her for a moment before letting her go. He waited a moment to respond to his sister, but eventually said "I missed you. I had to see my sister once more before... I repay my debts.." For just a brief moment, he face remained expressionless. It wasn't for long, so only the swift caught it. It left his mind just as soon as it came. Had Raine been paying attention, she certainly would have caught it. Just to be sure, the male quickly glanced over at her. Raine was not looking in his direction, but that didn't mean she wasn't paying attention.
The males name, Issac, was now known to all around. There were slight simularities in the faces of the two, which spoke of them as being twins. Feternal, obviously, as thier opposing genders. Issac bowed slightly to Diablo. "Good evening. I am Sachi's twin brother, Issac Fujiiro. 'Tis a pleasure to make your acquintance. I would presume you're the leader of this pack...?" he questioned, as he notioned in Diablo's direction.
His question was set aside for the moment. A question arose from his slightly younger sister. Though most wouldn't have heard it, Issac didn't need to hear her to catch on to what she was asking. He knew his sister long enough to know what she was like. It was a puzzled gaze that gave her away.
Issac stepped aside, now revealing her to the entire bar. "This is Cassandra. She's been traveling with me for roughly a week or so. And.."
"Isn't she part of the 'debts' you mentioned you needed to repay, a moment ago?" The voice of Raine had interupted. So she was paying attention. It would appear, she knew more than expected.
Rikku, who seemed somewhat uninterested, was now seated at the bar. Truth was, she was somewhat upset. Acknowledging what Diablo had said, she knew he was right. It wasn't exactly what she wanted, but it's what had to be.
Issac was about to reply to Raine, when a creak came from the stair case. All eyes were directed towards the stairs. Joseph stood just above the wreckage of what was the bottom of the stairs. Though, only the first 5 steps were damaged, so it was still possible to climb them.
The lad eyed the two newcomers. A tone of sarcasm came from his lips, as he said, "Is there supposed to be some sort of party here or something? Who keeps inviting these people?"
((Appologies to those who have been waiting on me. Posting, unfortunatly, has not been on the top of my to-do list lately. So I decided to it done while I still had the time. Sorry guys. Hope it's not too bad.))

*Aurora listened carefully to every word spoken. It seemed that the calm was still not here and she was weak from her travel to truely do much good. She sighed as she recalled what Diablo had said about her normal resting place, she slowly let her eyes roam the room until she found a corner that was clean compaired to the rest of the damaged bar. For a Queen, she sure did not act like one. She whispered softly to Diablo as she pressed a golden locket into the palm of his hand.*
"Do not worry, My Darling. You know I can always find a corner to sleep in."
*with a short sigh she continued.*
"Take this locket, it is of no use to me now. Everyone in that locket has been taken away from me, and I only know where one resides at."
*Inside the golden locket was a picture of her four children. She smiled weakly at Diablo, but she was unable to hide the tear that made it's way down her cheek. She then started rummiging through her bag and pulled out a few charms. Quietly she made her way to the door and windows as she invoked her charms. She knew that Diablo would have his home well guarded, but a little extra never hurt. She hung her charms above the windows and the door, she used her hovering spell if it was to high for her reach. Once she was done, she retired to the little corner she had picked out. As she relaxed in the corner in a curled up ball, she spoke softly but made it carry to every ear in the bar.*
"May the Goddess bless you all and keep you well. If you needed my services, I will be resting right here."
*Slowly she closed her eyes and fell into a light slumber, easy to awaken if needed.*
~As his Mistress sleeps, he takes to the air. Neal made is way around the bar room three times before landing on the shoulder of Diablo.~

Diablo stood there seemingly just as uninterested as Rikku. His eyes had wandered off to Aurora who was seemingly listening to the conversations. He could see just how tired she was from her travels and he knew even if he offered her a bed upstairs she'd decline it.
His eyes shifted to the male once he spoke, his hand relaxing as the sword made a quiet click sound as the gaurd hit the top of the sheath. He kept silient even as he made reference to these debts, as his mind had wandered elsewhere. His own mind had been racked, he finally settled on a course of action.
Just as he pushed up from the bar he came face to face with Aurora holding a locket out just to have it pressed into the palm of his hand. The metal was a bit cool to the touch. It was common knowledge that those of the Elvish blood lines did not feel the cold as others did, but this was a cold of another sort. The sense of loss made it momentarily cold as it then warmed to the temperature of his skin. He looked at Aurora and was at a loss for words. She retreated to the corner she had chosen to rest in, and started to set her charms finally falling into a slumber.
Not too long after he felt the claws of Neal cut into his shoulder, he didn't wince but he gave the creature a bit of a annoyed look. His attention was soon diverted from the little Dragon to the top of the stairs and to Joseph. His eyes staring intently at the young boy, he knew he'd have to finally do as he should have long ago. He glanced towards Neal and said, "Stay with Aurora, I must speak to a friend."
His attention returned to Joseph, his voice rang out again "Joseph, I must speak with you privately for a moment, will you please come join me?" He turned and made his way through the door towards the kitchen area. He stopped infront of a counter and placed his palms down upon it and gazed down at the aged wood. How would he do this and not lose the trust of the one person whom he relied on? He shook his head slightly and muttered "Well if the decisions in life were easy, we'd never have any stories to tell. Hopefully this one will turn out to be a happy ending."
(I'm sorry for putting this off for so long, multiple reasons have kept me from posting. I just hope you all can forgive me for procrastinating.)

Smiling as she felt those strong arms around her and protecting her again, Sachi replied: "I missed you too.." She began to say more, but pursed her lips as she finally got a good look at the strangely dressed person behind Issac. Sachi blinked, absorbing the new information her brother gave her, and the rest of the group. Nodding in gretting to Cassandra, she suddenly tensed when her brother mentioned debts. "Repay debts? What debts?" she eyed Issac suspiciously. And how is Cassandra a part of it? Though Issac's twin sister had never laid eyes on Cassandra before, she suddenly had a wave of frustration and irritation. Had that woman done something to land Issac in trouble? Not only that, but it was hard to accept that she might be close to Issac. Although she was the younger twin, Sachi had always been rather protective of her brother.
A voice coming from above them interrupted her train of though. Annoyed with his sarcasm, the teen shot him a look. In a way, it was rather unfair of Sachi. she didn't care much and didn't like how their group had been expanding before; she just couldn't keep up. But now, despite the fact that she was still utterly lost, it was different. It was Issac! She hadn't seen him in who knows how long. Pausing, a pang of sorrow stabbed her heart. Turning on her heel, she faced her brother directly. "You said once more..." It was a statement, not a question. But the way he said it, the way he paused, did he mean it would be the last time they'd see each other? "What do you mean by that? And the debts?" Her voice was level, and her eyes focused on Issac, completely ignoring Joesph and Diablo. For the moment, it didn't concern her.
Inside, Sachi had already made up her mind. Somehow, before her thoughts had started jumping around hysterically, she'd decided that she'd stay with her brother from now on. Raeka would probably be disappointed with her when he found out, but as brother and sister - twins! - surely they had to stick together. And not only that, Issac could teach her a thing or two. He'd always been much more powerful than Sachi, even at a young age, and much more careful. Perhaps she could even help him repay his debts, whatever they were, even though she was uneasy about what it was.

Night had fallen, like a small child who had wandered onto a large patch of ice and lost his sense of ballance. The moon was just beginning to crack over the horizon as the last rays of the day disapated. Naru lay peacefully in the small room numbered 203 on the eastern side of the bar. Bathed in moon light, she slumbered. Even Raeka was no longer of the concious world. He lay, almost dying, surrended by the situation at hand, unbeknowest to it. All others we either lost in their thoughts. Or lost in the confusion.
Raine. Raeka. Rikku. Joseph. Issac. Sachi.
They all things in common and they all had their differences. And the two that stood out the most had no idea they were even on this list. On top of being the only two siblings born years apart, Joseph and Rikku didn't have a sibling relationship. Mainly because Joseph was unaware his sister was actaully his sister. Hence Diablo's meeting. Was he finally going to tell Joseph about his long lost, yet found and ever present sister? Rikku followed Diablos' footsteps as they crossed her path from behind. She could only hope things would turn out... decent.
Joseph jumped down from his elevated surface. As he walked, he stopped in front of a small door, which upon opening it, appeared to be a small closet. He pulled out a large metalic item. Grabbing it firmly from the bottom, he pulled it open. Once flipped right side up, it was seen as a step ladder. "If anyone needs to get upstairs, here you go.." he stated as he placed it next to the stairs a couple feet to his left. Without speaking, he followed Diablo to the back.
The two old companions walked through the back door and rounded the corner. There was another short hallway that extended about 10 feet and turned once more to the left. At the end of this hall there was a door that led downwards into the celler, but turning to the left, there now stood a slightly longer hallway. At the end lay a door, the back entrance. Along the right wall, there were two doors, labeled '101' and '102'. Two more rooms to stay in, probably for cooks who needed to rest after a long day of being slaved to the metalic heat box. Right inbetween those two doors, on the opposing wall, was another door that was labeled 'Kitchen'.
As Diablo opened that door. Joseph followed as the elf entered. His elder friend had notioned him to take a seat, so the lad walked to the end of the room and made himself comfortable on the counter top. He was expecting some sort of a comment about this action from his friend, but without wasting time, he questioned, "So.. What did you need to talk about?" ((Sorry Travis, I moved you a bit. Think of it as giving you something to go off of)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As soon as Diablo left, Raine took control. She figured, she was now the eldest in the room, so she might aswell handle the kids. Or.. at the very least, her kids.
"Issac!" the stern tutor had called. Issac flinched slightly as he gazed over to his seemingly irate master. Raine lifted her hand up and pointed to the front door. "I think you have some explaining to do, young man"
At this time, sweat was beginning to form around his face. "Can we do it in private....?"
"Of course we are, you fool. Why would I bring up your personal life infront those it doesn't concern?"
Good.. Sachi can stay out of this... he thought to himself as he let out a sigh of relief. Raine caught on to his sigh. Though she was semi-telepathic, she didn't need to read his mind to know what he was thinking. It was written all over his face. She quickly made her way across the bar, placing her hands on the backs of both of her 'children' and lightly pushed them towards the door. Issac didn't have time to react.
Before he knew it, all three of them, Raine, Sachi and himself, we all standing outside in the front of the bar. An uneasy face had befallen the teens face. Raine had seen this face enough times to know what it meant. She had always let it slide before... But not this time.
A slighty sigh escaped the elfs mouth before she began, "Alright Issac. You've got explaining to do and you've got to do it quick. I know what you're planning and I'll approve only if you spill all the details."
Issac scratched the back of his head and tried not to make eye contact with her. Her stern eyes always frightened him. "But if you already know what I'm planning... Why do you have to ask what I'm doing?" she replied somewhat uneasy.
"I've seen this face on you a million times, child. I want to know what you're hiding from your sister." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cassandra quickly took in her surroundings. Fairly large bar. Based on the size of the outside, she guessed the bar itself only occupied roughly half of the main floor. Leaving an unknown amount of rooms in the back and maybe 5 big or 9 small rooms upstairs, perhaps even ten depending on how the stairs were built. Looking at Joseph and Diablo, she knew they weren't the types to build such a place, let along this astounding. Her best guess was that they had either bought it off someone or found it as it lay deserted. They didn't look the type to have money and this place was anything but populated, which led to her belief that it was deserted.
In one corner of the room, lay the blonde female who was called Aurora. In the other corner lay a man of unknown name and title. He seemed injured as there was fresh blood present on his clothes. Plus, the smell was unforgettable and it was coming straight from him. A clunk of glass hitting wooden counter top broke her concentration. That's right, there was still the pink haired female in the bar. Cass never got the girls name, but judging on her features, she was no older than Issac. Maybe 14 or 15. Her eyes shifted to the glass the girl held firmly in her hand. Suddenly, Rikku had stepped off her chair and turned around, now facing the observer. Placing her hands on her hips, she questioned "Are you going to order anything?" with a slight hint of aggrivation.
Cassandra smiled. "Aren't you a little young to be drinking?"
Her voice was so gentle. So pure. Rikku wasn't sure what was more shocking. The girls voice or her question. She paused for a moment before replying, "I'm not.
I hate alcohol. Can't stand the smell. Hate the taste. What's worse is how it makes you act..."
"So what were you drinking...?
Rikku turned her head and eyed her glass. Raising an eyebrow, she tried to remember exactly what it was. Suddenly, her features brightened, like a lightbulb had gone on in her head. She lifted both hands in front of her, extending both index fingers as if to say 'just a moment'. Circling around the bar, she kneeled over and began to rumage through the junk that lay behind there. Cassandra tilted her head and watched as a variety of items came flying from behind the bar to land on the counter top behind. She slowly began to approach. As she reached the bar, Rikku jumped up from behind. Jumping slightly, as she was frightened by this gesture, Cassandra placed her hand on her heart in order to slow it down.
Rikku placed the bottle on the counter. The label read 'Elven Ale'. "This is it. I'm not sure what's it made of, but it has a very smooth taste to it. It smells like sweet berries and tastes kind of like milk... somehow. Maybe I just don't know what milk tastes like.... Anyways. This Ale is an ancient elven recipe. Again, no idea how it's made, but it's amazing. It's like the elven equivelant to alcohol, but it's not alcoholic. It doesn't make you drowsey or tipsy or anything. What it actually does it... helps you to concentrate. It focuses the brain... Quite the stuff really. Plus, when lit, it can burn for months."
Cassandra just stared at the bottle. "How... educational" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The wind blew gently outside. The moonlight was shining down on the forest. It was the only light seen around...
Except in one spot.
Valindil grabbed a log and threw it in the fire. He decided to set up camp for the night. He found a couple hairs grazing in the forest and instantly thought, 'hey look, supper.' They were roasting over the fire. His quiet dinner was about to be interupted. Hearing footsteps from deep in the forest. His eyes remained closed, as he remained calm. "Lost your way, Darson?"
The red figure stepped out from the shadows. The light of the flace flickered and danced on the surface of his porcelain mask. "Just taking a midnight stroll, dear Valindil. And what pray tell are you still doing out so late?"
"Cooking." he answered, simply.
A sinister chuckle had came from behind the mask. "Dear friend. You know I mean you no disrespect... but the Barron may have something to say about your little camping game. He'd want to know why you're camped so far, yet so close to the enemy, and why you're not doing anything about it."
"My orders were to relay the message then retreat."
"Your orders were to send the invitation and return to base, unless something unexpected were to occur."
"Something did come up. Supper."
The red clothed man frowned under his mask. Valindil couldn't see it, but he knew it was there. He had won this battle. A smile of satisfaction crept across the large elfs face.
As Darson began to walk past the elf but the elf had a word of warning for his 'dear friend'. "I wouldn't go that way if I were you. The entire area is gaurded by a giant wall of fire."
"Are you forgetting my area of expertise, dear Valindil? I am fire."
"Don't say I didn't warn you...
Darson continued to walk. As he did, a small spark ignited out of nowhere and grew into a giant flame. The flame then spread all the way around in a circular formation. As far as the eye could see, both horizontally and vertically, were flames. "Silly kids... Play with fire, and you're wound to get burnt." Darson reached his hand into the flame. A yelp of pain escaped his lips as he retracted his hand from the flame. The paiin was so inscruciating. Like nothing he had ever felt before. "Impossible! he yelled.
Valindil just chuckled. Darson glared over at the elf. He knew something. "I tried to warn you. This area isn't gaurded with just a simple flame spell. It's gaurded by a form or soulfire. It only burns that which does not obtain a pure heart. Notice how your clothes aren't even singed? Your clothes weren't burnt because there's nothing negative about them. But your heart is full of blackness. You'll never pass through this flame."
Darson pulled his glove off his hand. The elf was right. The glove was unphased but his had and burned to dust. A small flame ignited from the palm of his hand and circled around where his fingers had burned off. They slowly formed fingers, then solidified. He had reconstructed his hand. Standing back up and pulling his glove back over his hand, he formed a fist. "I will find a way in. They will know the name Darson J. Mortomus.... They will know the Jackyl." With that, he began to walk the perimeter of the flame.
((I can say without a doubt, I had a great time writting this one))

As Aurora slept, her headjewel began to glow brightly. Even as she rested, he kept tabs on everyone from the woman sleeping upstairs to the friend of Diablo that she had marked with the slay markings. It had been days since she had slept, and she doubted she would even be sleeping long, for her body was there, but her spirit was else where. Her body needed rest, but her mind wanted to be fed. Her spirit followed Diablo like a small kitten; she knew that Diablo and Neal would be able to feel her. If it wasn't for her charms, people would believe her body was dead.
~Neal never left Diablo, he wrapped himself around Diablo's neck like a necklace, a lot like he did for his Mistress. Neal chirpped a little in Diablo's ear when he felt his Mistress' spirit come up along side Diablo.~
((Sorry guys, been busy with the saving for the apartment.))
