Sal"Whoa, whoa, hold up, big sis," Sal said in her most convincing of defensive tones, "I don't need anything from you, especially cash." She allowed this statement to sink in as she took the liberty of her sibling's room supposedly. It was a mess just like the one back home. The key machine was out of its box and her chest of drawers had been interfered with recently, this morning perhaps. "Oh no, Naomi," Sal continued, "This is not about me taking something from you but offering it instead. Now, I see the few people out there, enjoying their breakfast and the slight humming of a stereo and I love what you have done with the place but," at this, she crossed the floor and placed an arm on her sister's shoulder, "What if I said that I could get more people in here? Wouldn't that make you happy? All that I'm offering are my services as a waitress and a professional customer. I'll be in that display window every morning with a smile on my face and a good book - free of charge." She let go of her to face her with one of her 1,000 Watt grins. "So, what do you say? Hire me and get more dough in that pocket of yours?" Jesus is my Lord ♥

Naomi She had to hand it to her younger half. The girl could pitch an idea like only a successful car salesperson could. Naomi found herself smiling and blinking rapidly at Sal, trying very hard not to laugh because it hurt her sister's pride undoubtedly. She was looking for a job and free food. There was always an opening for help at the cafe and family was family when it came to the rest of it. Naomi clapped her hands together and filled the space between Sal and herself, hooking arms immeditely and leading her back to the kitchen. "Sal, I hear your proposition loud and clear. However, as much as I would like to hire you off the bat, there is always the issue of my partner and our first employee. We just can't have to barge in here, demand a job and get it." Arms still entwined, she slowed down as they approached the centre of the business kitchen, just between Vas and Kaden. "Hey guys, sorry about the rushed introduction before. I would like to meet my younger sister, Sal - just Sal. She has asked to work here as a professional customer. Apparently, she deems herself appealing enough to draw in people off the street by simply reading a book and having breakfast." At this, she gave the child's skimpy yet biker outfit a once over, "So, what do we think? Basically, she's asking for a place to stay in exchange for bringing in people's wallets." She sighed at this breakdown of her sister's true intentions and allowed the expected stress to show itself on her face openly. Maybe she could help Vas out somewhat even though he did have almost everything under control. She sighed again but kept a small smile. Jesus is my Lord ♥

Vassili hadn't looked up when Sal had come through or now. He listened and just nodded as he began making another order. Moving faster than it seemed possible. He was making seven orders at once and none of them were burning, or under cooked. He slipped all seven plates onto the out table and looked up to find himself with no more slips. He turned to Sal and did a once over.
"Fine with me, though I don't have any say it is your cafe. I am just the muscle." He chuckled as he began washing a mountain of dishes.
((Sorry. So that awesome job I was talking about. Well I have no job now. It is great. I have a feeling I am either gonna get really busy or be on way to much.))

SalSal twitched uncomfortably and unhooked her sister's arm. Business had always come first for Naomi, no matter what she said. She eyed the other two misfit employees and caught Vas looking at her, even if it was for a brief moment. She smiled and it deepened at his offhand approval of her working there. Always the flirt, Sal grabbed a spare apron and notepad before taking up the orders that the man had put down recently. "I bet you are," she said, winking at him as she took up the slits as well, matching them to the plates. In her opinion, she was a natural for these type of jobs. You met new people, flirted with no strings attached and of course, the pleasure from transferring someone else's money to your possession. Her skirt and apron swayed a little as she made her way to the eating area and handing out plates of food, service with a smile. ((Sorry to hear that. What happened? What are you going to do now?)) Vassili watched Naomi's sister walk out with the orders. He shook his head and turned to Naomi.
"She is interesting. Are you sure she's your sister? Complete opposites you two." Vassili began putting away the dishes as he waited for more orders to come in, pondering what Naomi's sister could possibly do for the party.
"She could advertise the party. Already dressed for it."
((Looking for work. Hopefully I get this job at Applebee's and then I can continue to look for work.))

NaomiFinally, Naomi allowed herself to help the others with the workload. As time passed, more and more people filtered in off the pavement. Her gratitude was with God for her sister's unexpected visit. Vas' question made her smile even though her back was to him by now. "Yeah, that's Sal for you. The little devil has been making waves since our childhood and yes, she's my sister," Naomi responded, ignoring the last part on purpose. It was not that they were complete opposites but that Sal had the opportunity to be a drop dead gorgeous babe more than she. Give Naomi a bod and spunk like that, they might as well be twins. Tugging on her own oversized t-shirt, she did not voice this to her co-workers. The role of nuturer was fine for her. "Kaden, I haven't heard from you as yet. What do you think about my sister working here?" The manager grabbed some vegetables and diced them before throwing it into its respective container. Following this, she continued restocking the other spices, glancing over at Sal ever so often. ((Okay cool, I wish you luck. What is your dream job, by the way?)) Jesus is my Lord ♥

((Well, thanks for clearing that up, SNPR 01. Aww, Cuppy, feel better soon and I think I'll have to pray about this work thing and you.)) SalShe had just served her last table when she almost skated across the floor. Not having anything else in her hands, she picked up the flyer that had nearly floored her. A party...here? Sal looked around to see some of the customers with identical posters in hand. Intrigued, the young woman sauntered over to the kitchen and grabbed a stool, holding up the flyer to her sister's face. "Hey Nami," she started with the home name that she had attributed to the older version of herself, "What's this thing? It says something about a party every Thursday night and today's Thursday." She turned swiftly over to Vas, "Do you know anything about this? A party might be fun. Of course, I'll have to change and maybe even help. What do you think?" She had posed the last question to Naomi since it was her business and unwanted intruders were never allowed. Jesus is my Lord ♥

Vassili turned to the girl as she came back in. He wasn't sure if Naomi and Sal were the same age, but Naomi was a woman and Sal still just a girl. At least for now. Her question posed he started to chuckle.
"Yeah I know about. In fact Naomi is the honorary guest to the first Party. In light of her... Well you can ask her later. I'll be behind the bar and the booth." Vassili tossed the apron off and walked into the dining area. It seemed there weren't any new customers, but only the people that were examining the flyers. He began to make rounds introducing himself as just the DJ.

NaomiThe older woman looked up at her sister's entrance and glanced at the flyer. She was ready to explain it but Vas had already done that. Her cheeks flared a bit with embarrassment as she nodded to Sal that she would relate the reason for her being honored later that night. "Also, Sal," Naomi said, wiping her hands clean, "It is just good to take a break sometimes and the party is for anyone who is able to come. Why don't you go over and ask Vas about helping him? He had said something about advertising but I think it was more a remark on your choice of wardrobe." She smirked her sister, who was a year younger than her chronologically but so much more mentally, and tugged on the hem of her buttoned up shirt. "Go on and ask him what time would he like to start? Only so many hours have passed." She hit her sister playfully before positioning herself by Kaden to interfere with more supplies. Jesus is my Lord ♥

SalThe twenty-four year old woman stuck her tongue in her cheek and eyed her sister by the wolf-girl. Something was different about her. She was not as judgemental as she remembered last. There was going to be a party every week after all and it had been Nami's idea. Her gaze went to the guy, Vas and followed him as he made his way through the eating area, talking to people. He was kind of mysterious with all of that clothing covering him and he had not been too bad on the eyes. Intrigued, she hopped off the stool and walked over to the man. She loved her walk. It was not a rush to get from point A to point B but more of a show for those willing to watch, filled with her sass and flirtacious tendencies. When she reached Vas, Sal swung her hips at him with the intention of bumping the poor man to the side. "Hey there," she greeted him with another electric smile, "Nami, I mean Naomi, said that you were wondering what I could do for the party. I think the advertisement thing is a good idea but I want to know what else that you would like me to do." Sal chuckled at her behaviour and allowed that joy to display itself well on her face. Naomi was shy and refused to get hurt again. Sal had the secret to her problem but refused to share it. Her elder sister thinks that she is irresponsible. There was no way that she was adding heartless to that as well. All in all, Sal just loved to play and she did it well. "So," she continued, pulling herself out of the little reverie and poking Vas in the arm, "What do you say? What can I, Sal, do for you?" Her eyes looked up at him in a bashful manner with flushed cheeks to boot. ((So tired so I am very sorry if this is not up to par...)) Jesus is my Lord ♥

Vassili smiled underneath the mask. In the past a slight bump would have set him off. He was glad of his self control. With a chuckle he slipped an arm around her waist and pulled her closer.
"Well A good DJ always has some arm candy. I think the morning rush is about done. So let's go upstairs a you can assess the place." He waved bye to the guy he had been talking to and pulled the buxom girl along with him. When they reached the stairs he pulled the mask off. The yellow filter was hurting his eyes.
