Placing the kunai in the slot, nothing happens initially, but then the light from below begins to shine more and more brightly as a column of green light erupts from the center of the tile and begins to reflect off of all the mirrors in the room. As this occurs, the kunai is once more lifted out of the slot, but this time it does so slowly, hovering in the air as it gently rises, reflecting the light of the column around the entire room as it emits a soft, but high pitched frequency and begins to shimmer.

Slowly, a green light begins to fill the room as everything begins to grow brighter and brighter, again, blinding the team only momentarily until they are suddenly freed from the light, only to open their eyes and find themselves back in the dark corridor where they originally fell through the ground and were dumped into the mirrored tile room. There were two torches on the wall, one on each side of the corridor and in the distance, a feint white light could be seen.

The team is able to traverse the rest of the corridor without incident as the light at the end of the tunnel grew larger and larger. As the team walked forward, torches on the side of the corridors lit up as they passed by. As they came closer and closer to the end of the tunnel, they could see that it was opening up into a large room both in height and in width, and that the cavern was incredibly well lit despite it's size. Now that the entrance way was so close, the group could see that Aoshi was apparently standing in the middle of the room, seemingly waiting for them.

Walking into the room, you could see that the cavern was larger then the arena itself, 100 yards long, wide and high at least. In the middle of the room was a carved circle with a 100 ft diameter, which Aoshi stood in the middle of, flipping the scroll around in his hand playfully as he awaited your arrival. Around the circle, there were three pedestals about 4 feet tall, each one placed an equidistant length from each other on the circle, forming a perfect triangle. The area within the circle and the pedestals themselves were all rather dusty, as could be seen when a slight breeze whipped through the room, kicking up dust particles all around as you drew closer to Aoshi.

Watching the group finally appear, Aoshi said nothing, placing the scroll in a holster on his back. Resting his right hand on one of the hilts of the blades he had at hi ships, Aoshi waited and watched as the team approached the circle.

Very suddenly, the entire room began to shake violently as dust and pebbles began to fall from the top of the cave. Just as the cave moved, Aoshi looked around almost in a panic. In an instant, he was gone, disappearing without trace before suddenly appearing, taking no time to explain or even ask for permission as he slung Kingu over his back and picked up Mauske and Zenko in one arm each. what happened next could only be described as about 10 times more disorienting then the experience of switching from the mirrored tile room tot he ice cavern and back.

Just as soon as Aoshi had grabbed everyone, you would feel like every muscle in your body was contracted simultaneously, creating an extreme sense of discomfort and anticipation. Then, as if you were launched from a catapult, you felt yourself almost spring backwards as the world slowed down around you and you were rocketed forward to the center of the arena, even the dust falling around you, moving in slow motion as you arrived. the entire ordeal could only have lasted a second, if even that from start to finish, but you soon found yourselves in the middle of the room, on the ground around Aoshi, your bodies still quivering from the technique he used to move you here. Only an instant later, the ceiling of the cave fell, dropping over 90 feet from the air, before stopping abruptly less then 5 feet above the group's heads. Then after another few seconds, the walls closed in as well, crushing the pedestals as they passed, trapping the team in a box as the lights then suddenly went out as a large amount of shifting could be heard, as if they were being buried by pounds of dirt dropped from the sky.

The group then felt a sudden upwards movement as it felt like they were being lifted up high into the air. It was completely dark, but you could hear Aoshi's voice from the dark... "Well that was certainly fast. Sorry for the rough ride everyone, but you weren't able to complete the puzzle before time ran up, or to be more precise, before four of the other teams finished. Don't worry though, it doesn't particularly mean you failed, it's just that we have to get the last phase of the test underway. No sooner had Aoshi finished speaking then the movement suddenly halted, jarring everyone for a second before they heard muffled cheers. The dome of earth they were encased within then dissolved from around them, falling to the ground and sinking into the earth as they found themselves in the middle of the arena, surrounded by the screams of the crowd. Looking around quickly, Cobra could be seen speaking to two groups of Genin, and all of the teams were now back and scattered throughout the arena.
