Bjorn thought it over for a long moment. When he spoke again, his usual quiet tone was back. "Despite that, we are safe." he said, looking from Hana to Aki. "You've been dead...or so the stories go. Do you think Gailor will trust the word of a handful of guards in a sleepy town like this? He will likely believe they hit the ale too hard that day." he pointed out.

Enserric the Grey (Also known as Eric Grisham)
AND THE SKY SHALL RAIN FIRE E stepped from the shadows. Fools, idiots! "And you think they will ignore the hundred dead? Even though you managed to pull off THAT astounding feat, seeing you kill a hundred men has made me... rethink your position as the savior of Faren. What about the wives and children of those men? Or are they all evil monsters? Or is it their fault that you ran away from the country and had to take the only job available? And even if they didn't believe Satoshi, that would mean an uprising. This town would burn to the ground, and everyone would die. You are a real and horrible monster. For all Gailor has inflicted, he has repaid with help and kindness. All you are is a murderer with inflated self importance. I'm taking Maka home. She didn't have to see this."
The voices were bothering him again. They were... happy with this development. The monstrous act had enlivened them, they wanted blood... Blood to rain from the skies. No. This had to be ended, and soon.
RAGNAROK HAS BEGUN ((Gurk, writers block. BTW, why are there so many Faren? Shouldn't there be more Gailor supporters than 2?))

He gave a mute giggle to the womans last comment. 'So straight to the point' he thought.
With a quick tilt of her head to indicate to follow, she then began to jog in the direction that she was headed in.
As it seemd they neared the destination
he inquired "What is you name?"
"We never really got a chance to intorduce ourselfs--"
But then his question was cut off when the came upon a group of people. He sensed that the atmosphere was tense with their faces full of frustration. Inquiries would have to come later. He deliberated that it deemed best to keep silent untill such appropriate time.
With that he stood at a side and listened intently, gazing at the new strangers...

((>_> I did not intend this to turn out like this, and it's pissing me off! The Faren people are NOT supposed to support Gailor and Gailor is NOT supposed to have helped the citizens of Faren! In Gailor's profile, it says he does nothing to help them, so that means he did nothing to help them! But, no! Apparently he has done so much good that they don't even need Aki to fight Gailor! In fact, things would be better if Aki didn't fight Gailor! That is what I'm beginning to think because of all the "Gailor has helped Faren" and "Faren does not need you" crap! >_>))

As they approached the others, she heard his question, but looked but as he seemed to stop midsentence. she smiled and then looked at the others she bowed her head to all presant people. "my name is selina" she raised her head and looked at the boy, he seemed tense. "I also picked up a friend".

((Sorry I took so long))
The faces looked back. Some welcoming, some still in frustration as if not taking notice.
He still took into concideration of proper etiquette in which he quietly introduced himself to the newfound strangers and Selina.
"My name is Laptus Borielle Azure. Pleased to meet you."
His head began to ache but he smiled as if nothing had happend.
'No not again. Not now, please.' he thought He faintly heard clanging however no soldier was in sight. Such overwhelming sadness, whos' was it?
There was screaming...a girl perhaps. He couldn't tell, the emotion was too great. "No! No! Help me! Brother.....!"
As the screaming dulled he put on his poker face and waited for someone to speak.

((Gah writers block))
The pain subsided to a mear throb. He look up at Selina.
"Is there anything wrong?"
He shook his head. Most now seem all seemed more focused on him.But it was probably his imagination.
"Nothing at all." he replied.
But he began to ponder and finally said, now a little bit more louder for all to hear.
"It seems Gailor's soldiers are after you unless I am mistaken. You cause quite a scene back there. I am most interested in what is going on to raise such a fuss."

((So what, Gailor is supposed to be a complete monster with no redeemable qualities? Where's the fun in that? Besides, being a king, it makes sense for him to want a region he has conquered to make money, and try to pacify it. Even if he was evil, he wouldn't want an uprising. Besides, I'm pretty sure if he's a complete monster, Enserric should be on his side anyways. Please move Eric Grisham to Gailor's side to balance it out a bit.))

[Dentrag, see: Adolf Hitler. Gailor is supposed to be a complete monster: he attacked a neutral country and slaughtered everyone in the castle to gain the throne. He's the king, and anyone that speaks out or acts against him will be killed instantly, without remorse or feeling. Also, I'm lost here. Can people start specifying the target of their post in their posts? Who is E talking to in his post? What about...whoever Lottie's character is? I've got no clue what's going on.]

Did you really just invoke Godwin's Law? Adolf hitler would never have risen to power if Germany had not had a crashed economy, high unemployment and poverty, and a feeling of being repressed by the west. How do we know that "King faren" was so much better than gailor? I'm trying to be realistic here -- ONE person in 8 billion people ever born was a complete monster. Unless the Gailorian nation was in a REALLY desperate political situation, AND the people thought that Faren was the cause of it, we would not have a hitlerian person in command. Otherwise, the people find him to be hideously evil and overthrow him -- see the end of the Shang dynasty. Stupid leaders don't stay in power for long -- they either get overthrown or are puppets of their advisors. Seeing as how Gailor seems to be intelligent, he would understand that being TOO Evil would get him overthrown, and would attempt to pacify the citizenry -- see Pax Romana. Also, there are no really good or evil people in the world -- it's relative. EDIT: I was talking to Bjorn. Given the number of short posts i had seen (2 pages worth) and their relative incomprehensibility, I responded to yours, one of the few intelligible ones, and the most recent. ))

[I'm not talking about how Gailor is basically a medieval version of Hitler. I was just pointing out the fact that both are complete monsters with no redeemable qualities, and yet both ruled an area..."successfully". Also, this isn't modern day. Way back when, and in fantasy land, peasants don't usually go "ra ra fight the powa" and overthrow the government...especially if they are ruled by fear. Like you say: the line between good and evil is relative. Thus, the citizens are forced to see him as good, and yet he does little good for them in the long run.
But I'm really the wrong one to be talking to. Talk to Stefis, who designed the character. I'm just running off what I gathered by the backstory, my own opinions, and by the actions of the previous Gailor in the first rendition of the RP.
Also, the reason I was confused was I swore E was fighting inside the city not a moment before. I might be mistaken. Regardless I'm too tired to formulate something coherent...at least, for a post.]
