"That was a comment that was left open for you to decide" he said not looking at her but rather the cubs that stretched and purred in their sleep.
"You won't figure me out. As much as you would like to, I assure you there are secrets I have never let past my jaws." he said with a slight hint of a growl. He didn't like being mysterious, but he knew as an Arbiter his anonymity was by far the best thing he could have. Especially with that glorious mark of shame branded on his chest.
"So your decision is to you. Either stay and be in the mist, or leave and be free of trying to crack a puzzle that cannot be cracked" he said with a nod

"Oh....I will, yet not as you think." Corosina shifted her shoulders to stand, turning her body and taking nimble steps back to Arbiter and the cubs. Once more taking a laying position as she curled comfortably infront of them she reached out and with her paw pushed the tail of one out of the others face as they lounged happily in slumber. "I don't need to know everything about you....or your secrets."
As a soft grin curled on her lips her own tail flicked around, opting to clean the bite wound there for a moment before continuing. "You as a whole is a puzzle I wouldn't want to crack, however, I will get no where by leaving before not finding out your piece in my puzzle. So your secrets are safe in your mist." She said softly, returning to lick her tail from the perky wolves.

He understood her words, but at the same time he didn't. It was more so the fact that she was implying something that was not in his plans...or for that matter even a consideration
All the same, he lowered his head carefully to one of his free paws and rested it gently. He didn't have much else to say to her, and for some reason or another he found it hard to look at her. Maybe because he was reminded far to much of his younger year...or perhaps it was just something else he couldn't put a claw on

The quiet atmosphere between the pair had left the feline rather drowsy, from the combination of the morning hunt, and battle with the wolves and of course her stress....it was no wonder she was feeling in need of some kind of nap. Glancing over to the cubs who seemed blissful in their sleepy states and Arbiter who remained as stoic as ever looking off in his own world.
Lowering her head onto her paws she curled her tail tight around her frame, enjoying the gentle sun beam which filtered through some of the canopy of leaves above. Slowly a purr began to rumble in her throat as she allowed her acid green orbs to close, ears lowering to her skull as it wasn't long before she drifted in and out of a light slumber.
Besides, it was mere instinct that the 'mother' adapted the code of sleep when the babies sleep....and she wasn't going to be unwise not to follow it.

Unsatisfied with her sudden decision to sleep, he raised his head and glared at her questioningly. Soon rising to his feet gently as not to disturb the cubs and making his way to the cliff side where he could travel back down the hill and retrieve his armor. He didn't like just leaving her there, but he felt an awkwardness between himself and her now that he felt only time could solve.
------------------------------------- -2 weeks later-
Traveling the island for a solid 2 weeks, Ripa all but forgot the troubles of the demoness. He had many more issues that were trifling to him, like the sudden appearance of covenant forces, and the absence of all but one or 2 elites in the shop. It was perplexing to him, but not so much as the grunt forces that he had found in the forest.
Then there was the matters of the Eastern shore. He refused to go that way as he heard tell of a monster killing at will. He was a strong man, but not stupid.

Life had been anything but pleasurable for the feline vixen, grateful and furious at the same time that Arbiter had left her during a nap did not sit well with her; no matter how much she figured it for the better. For the who weeks she'd watched the cubs the best she could, but falling back into a deadly cycle of lust she found herself falling into the same routine. Each one leaving her more frustrated and tormented than the last, luckily there was only one casualty.
To her pleasure, while absent for some play time a mother cougar had stumbled upon the cups and amazingly took them as her own; while this made the vixen happy she didn't need to care for them any longer....once more she realized how alone she was.
The woods were thick in this area as she slipped around the lush foliage. Calming down was priority number one, as her lashing tail gave all the more warning that anyone who rubbed her fur the wrong way would get more than they could handle. Luckily though she knew this area well, and as the gentle rush of the falls came to view she knew this was the optimal place to unwind. "Purrrrrrrrrrfect." The tigress rumbled out, shifting to an anthromorphed stance before reaching the rocky crop. Pulling her hair over her shoulders she slipped under some of the current, purring happily as the water massaged her tense back.

Dreary from a long days run, trying to catch a group of fleeing grunts fro questioning, he found the forest's thick foliage and often clustered trees caused more of a problem then he thought. While he did finally catch the grunts, they were no where near as helpful as he had hoped, and knowing grunts made a poor meal, he was forced to let them go.
So now, hungry and tired from wasting his day trying to catch the group, he wandered aimlessly, and stumbled upon a pool of water that was fed by a small, but sustaining waterfall. He made haste to the waters edge and scooped his head along the water's surface, with jaws open. His thirst and hunger had left him blind to the oh so obvious demoness relaxing under the waterfall

Tilting her head back to soak her hair, running her claws through the mass of white hair; it wasn't until something dark amongst the lush greens and clear blues of the pond caught her eye. Looking down her breath caught in her throat at just whom had taken to drinking from the lake.
"Oh hell no." Corosina felt her brows knit together, tail thrashing behind her to flick water this way and that.
Yet....there was something else which welled, but she pushed that aside quickly; she knew what had happened last time. Being satisfied for two days was not worth the increase of hunger from her curse. Yet here he was, what a bloody tease.
Leaning down she picked up a rock from around her paws, chucking it far so it landed about two feet from his head in the water with a plop to get his attention. Watching him with intense acid hued orbs she put her paws on her hips; wondering what the hell he was doing out here anyways.

Having gotten his fill of water, he was preparing to take off some of the burdensome armor, and rest in the water while his body relaxed and cooled from the heat of the day. But a sudden rock had fallen only feet away from his muzzle. His head snapped up, eyes wide with surprise, but the moment he saw the ever familiar vixen, the golden eyes became half hidden behind tired eye lids.
He tried his hardest to be cordial, even after the long day. He hadn't the slightest she was angry with him though, so her stance was a bit shocking to him, as was the flicking tail. Greetings would have to wait.
"Is...something the matter?" he asked, half hearted in his words, but not to intentionally piss her off

Oh, if only you knew. She thought bitterly, but kept her face placid and cool least she wanted any kind of fireworks. A bit disappointed with his rather.....sleepy tone, she wondered what the heck was the matter with him no less. None the less she knew it was putting out the fire in her soul, and let out a sigh as her shoulders slumped faintly.
Besides, why should it bother her that he had left like she had done to countless males before....and after that night.
"I wasn't exactly expecting company..." Corosina decided with, figuring it just wasn't worth it now, no matter how nice it might have been to relieve the stress a fight could have been. Stepping down from the rocks under the falls, she wrung her hair out before flicking it behind her back. Walking across the shallows, she reverted town to her fours and tilted her head.
"You seem....tired."

Raising an eyebrow at her eventual comment he just had to address the rock. "You throw rocks at unexpected company?" he inquire as he finally decided to sit back, and talk his helmet off, setting it beside him. He was glad it was off of his head. It didn't look heavy, but it was.
"I am tired." he decided to leave it at that. He didn't want to trifle her with his problems, even if she did ask, he wouldn't have much to say anyway.
Shirking away the rest of his armor, he soon waded out in the water only a bit, and rested his massive frame in the cool water sighing in relief almost immediately. He rested his long neck and head on the near by banks, but tried to keep visual contact of the demoness

A sly smirk crawled on her lips as she shifted her eyes over to the large elite; deviousness reflecting off the bright green hue. "You're lucky that's the only thing I threw at you." While rocks were not usually something she'd whip, depending on the type of fox it was either her own body or for the more aggressive types - her claws.
She wasn't going to deny that watching him shirk off his armor brought back rather....pleasant memories, feeling that tingle run down her spine as if it was his claw like before too. Flicking her long tail in winding snake like grave and fluidity, once the alien was comfortable in the water she found herself drawn to the armor. Leaning down she picked up the breast plate and realized just how heavy it really was; grinning quietly as she held it against her chest and looked down as if trying to imagine if she was wearing it.
Imagining she'd look quite sexy in some warrior armor, Coro' let out a bemused chuckle as she could tell from last time how restricting it was to get up close and personal. Setting it back amongst the set, she strolled into the water up to her hips and let her hair float on the surface. "Are you now....been busy since you left?" Corosina asked with a casual tone, trying to hide the curiousness.

His eyes flickered to her movements, and tried their darndest from closing, but he didn't at all have a problem with suddenly needing to be awake when she not only touched the armor, but moved it and played with it. He was surprised at how fast he was still able to jolt to his feet, almost as if she were the enemy.
He looked to he armor in her paws, then back to her, and snorted aggressively. He didn't have to say anythign more. His armor was precious, and were he even a normal elite, he still would have reacted the same, but with the armor of the Arbiter...it was just unexcusible for anyone to touch it. He didn't even fell right wearing it at first, but now he was almost sworn to protect it over his own life. Just showed he had nothing better to look out for.
Having watched her put the armor down, he watched as she came close, but that comfort zone in his mind was crossed, so he walked over to where she had placed the chest plate and inspected it. To her, it was just armor, and for him to be so protective must have seemed stupid, but in his mind, the armor was a rite and a burden.
"No. Not busy at all" he finally growled as he turned to face her, making sure he was between her and the armor

Dunno what the hell his problem is... She thought with an ill tone in her mental voice, shaking her head as she could hear his motions around the armor. It was true, she thought the studly male might have lost a few screws over a hunk of metal; yet it just showed the different values of their culture.
Besides....she realized bitterly with a grin in his expense, he certainly didn't have a hiss fit when he near begged her to take it off him the first time.
Folding her wings out to full span, they stretched over the water till she could see their reflection when she looked to the side. Crouching down she dipped the wings into the water and slid them forward as she checked for any nicks and tears, or otherwise spots which might needed tending too. Luckily it seemed today was just about cleaning as she rubbed spots off the thin leathery surface. "How....Enthralling." She finally allowed the smooth purr like words slip from her lips, taking a glance over her shoulder to see his look of annoyance - to put it kindly.
"Here I thought you would have had a good reason for leaving." Not that she could entirely blame him, it wasn't like he was hers or anything of the sorts; yet at the same time, she wasn't enjoying the fact the act had bothered her more than she would have thought it to.

Watching her movements and trying to stifle a yawn, he didn't understand entirely as to what she was doing, nor did he really want to know either.
Clicking his mandibles at her comment, he glared her down as he was growing accustomed to. "Do I need a reason to walk away?" he inquired, his voice remaining stoic. She was lucky had hadn't ditched her sooner on that day. Then again he was sure their act would result in child...and he was certainly shocked to see she at all didn't seem to be carrying. It certainly did leave him to question things he didn't ever think he'd have a problem with. But he was getting old...it was inevitable
