SukiSuki floated high above ground level, just above the smooth surface of the roof. She'd never been above the West Wing before, but she liked it. Heck; you could see the whole guild from here! She smiled; even the sky couldn't escape her sights here. It was so huge! She settled down comfortably onto the rooftop to wait, hoping that Damon would arrive soon enough.

~ Damon~ Damon slowly stepped onto the rooftop, strangely calm. He was confident this would go well, he never failed to swoon girls before, so why would now be any different...? With a single rose clutched in his hands and held behind him, he stepped farther onto the rooftop, it wasn't long before he spotted Suki staring out at the expanse of scenery that lay out before her. He quietly continued walking until he was almost right behind her, "Hey there, stranger. Can't recall seeing you around these parts before~" He was kidding of course, he figured it would be....cute?

SukiSuki smiled. "Hey stranger; got any plans?" She joked back, floating up to Damon's eye level. Man, she really needed to evolve. After a few moments, she registered the rose that the handsome Sableye held in his hands. "Is... Is that rose for me?" She asked, both astonished and flattered. Nooooo; it was obviously for the roof shingles. Nice job, Suki.

~ Damon~ Damon smiled sheepishly, "Why, yes, yes it is.". Damon gently reached over and awkwardly fixed the rose in her 'hair', this was just all too new to him. He walked closer to the edge and sat down, staring at the kingdom that lay before him. He gazed out at the town below, the hundreds of buildings looked like a child's play set. "Honestly, I really don't know...I've lived in the Mines most my life and haven't had much time to look around. Do..." he grasped for the right phrase...what would Armand say? "...have any preferences?" Damon mentally slapped himself, great going man, now she'll either think you're a lazy or dumb as a rock...which would be suiting....because you eat rocks...

SukiSuki smiled, tilting her head slightly as Damon fixed the rose in her hair. She floated down next to him, still smiling. At his next words, however, she found herself giggling. "I don't think you quite meant that the way it sounded." She noted, trying not to laugh. 'Did she have any preferences'. Niiiiice.

~ Damon~ Damon blushed furiously, crap he had a feeling something like this would happen, "Oh, um, really? Well, uh, what would you like to do?". He smiled at her, hoping what was really the fact he knew nothing about this town would be hidden by what he thought would come off as politeness. He really had no idea what girls really liked, did she want to go out for food? A walk? Did she just want to sit here and talk? Arcues forbid...

Suki"You promised we'd go out for ice cream, remember?" The Misdreavus smiled kindly, reminding him. "Come on, let me show you the Frosty Diner!" She murmured happily, taking the Sableye gently by the hand and leading him down the stairs, off the roof, and away to the diner.

~ Damon~ While being dragged along Damon managed to utter a small, "Oh, right, I knew that..." It was probably painfully obvious that he really had forgotten, but it was worth a shot. Arceus, could he not act like a total idiot for once? It was so strange, he'd never been this nervous and awkward in front of a girl before, never! [[TO THE DINER >:U]]

 Rayne
Rayne perched on the edge of the railing around the roof, headed lifted up so she could stare off into the distance. She felt down, well...that was to be expected. Her father'd just been killed. Still, oddly enough, she wasnt lapsing into depression or dwelling on the subject. Storm himself had taught her it was never good to think too much on something that hurt. The Pikachu was tough, she'd be fine. Still... "...gonna be lonely without you, dad." Rayne strongly believed in the afterlife. In Arceus. She knew her dad was in a better place, she wasnt a athiest like her grandfather or anything.

CallieCallie poked her head up from the ladder leading up to the roof. She had followed Rayne here, knowing the Pikachu was in a bad way at the moment. The Sneasel felt an obligation to try and cheer her friend up. Callie hoisted her self up onto the roof and approached Rayne from behind. "Rayne...? Are you... Alright?" She asked softly.

 Rayne
The Pikachu's Riolu tail flicked up at the voice and she turned. "Oh hey, kiddo. What ya-"Her ears twitched at the tone of the Sneasel's voice. Sympathetic. She raised a fist and lighty popped the smaller Pokemon in the head. "Dont do that. Dont you dare throw a pity party for me!" She demanded, eyes flashing.

CallieThe Sneasel pouted and rubbed her forehead. "I'm just trying to be a good friend, Rayne..." Se whimpered softly. "And don't try to act like you're fine, because I know you're not..." If Rayne was okay with her father dying, then Callie wasn't sure they should be friends anymore.

 Rayne
Rayne folded her arms. "I'm not fine. I'm torn, I'm sad...I'm all kinds of pissed off, but...I'll get over it. Time heals and all that other s**t." She turned and cast those red eyes over the Sneasel before frowning. "Dad said, a long time ago he was a bad Pokemon. He killed, he attacked...he killed my grandmother. His mom. All his life, he told me, dont regret anything or you'll spend the rest of your life trying to repair what you have broken. I love my dad, loved him. I'll miss him, but...he wouldnt want me to be upset. He'd want me to move on. So...I respect his wishes. Even if...it hurts." The Pikachu glanced away, eyes tearing up.

CallieCallie frowned and reached up, wiping the tears from Rayne's eye. "I understand you want to respect your father's wishes..." She replied. "But, I don't think he meant never be upset, ever." She then wiped the tears from the other. "I think he meant for you not to dwell on it. He passed away so recently... You should be allowed to cry..."

 Rayne
The Pikachu rolled her eyes. "Rayne Alexia Thundertail does NOT cry." She stated firmly before bursting into tears. Well, so much for the show of power. Hey, she wasnt made of stone. She was allowed to be emotional too. Sometimes. Very rarely. Go away.
