A fright of panic increased Jerome's heart rate as he too suddenly became short of breath. He looked around in panic and wondered what he had to do. There had been no rehearsing or anything, especially for being outdoors
"uh...help..SOMEONE HELP!!" he screamed at the top of his lungs knowing well that when in fail...get someone else who knows what they are doing
Half dazed and disappointed from the turn out of the hunt the night before, the massive Elite somberly stalked the forest, not far from an establishment he knew well to avoid. However the scent of blood trailed to his nose and his massive head rose to glare at the direction it was wafting from. At first he thought that finally he had found an easy meal, but when he heard the cries for help, his heart sank. Still his curiosity overcame his hunger and he bounded over to find a worst case scenario. He had seen it many times before and was hoping he'd never see it again.
"We meet again. Though it would seem this time you are in much more danger." He spoke to the female, knowing full well she would not answer. "Demon. Go get a damp towel and some water." he snapped as his gaze fell on the Spartan.

Between the tasks of trying to breathe through her pain, and the increasing contractions intensity after every passing bit between them; if Koyuki could have spoke she would have she would have probably let out a cry to the heavens about their choice of help. Riding out another painful contraction as her paws had found their way to the grass and was pulling it up roots and all with white knuckled paws.
She could barely comprehend as he spoke, slowly drawing her eyes up to him as her chest heaved with each breath. What did he know about childbirth? Apparently a bit as he ordered Jerome away, something she wasn't comfortable with at all since she wanted him there even more so that Arbiter stood like a tower near her. Opening her mouth to try and speak, her voice once more died out from the pain before she could get a word in as her head fell against her collar bone.....why oh why did it have to be now!?
"Ahhhieeeeeeeeeeeee....!" She whined out painfully, wishing her mother was here more than anything.

The Spartan wasn't about to argue with something that big, with babies on the way. He mustered his strength and sprinted to the house, and flew to the bathroom, grabbing as many towels he could find and filling as many cups of warmish water as he could hold. Then he quickly, but carefully dashed back out with all of these things and tried to find a place to put them.
While the chaos was going on, Arbiter tried to find something. His hawk like eyes surveyed the area until he found what he needed. He motioned that he would be right back, and he quickly whisked off to a large rock. It wasn't the best, but it would do. He pushed it and rolled it over behind Koyuki. "Now rest against that until your mate returns." he said as he waited patiently, only to turn and find the ever faithful Spartan. "Good" he took one of the towels and placed it underneath the female. "Give the water to her, drizzle it on a towel and dab her forehead. It will keep her cool. Now listen to me." he said turning to the pained female. "When I tell you to I want you to push as hard as you can for 10 seconds, be sure to keep breathing" he said taking up a rather awkward position and putting Koyuki's feet on his chest.

What....where was he going now!? Koyuki was in near gasping fits now from the pain, but not really feeling the pushing sensation her mother had warned her about. Looking around to see neither of the males, she almost was relieved when Arbiter came back out of the treeline with a large rock rolling infront of him. Mentally rolling her eyes as she'd closed them tight for the next wave of her contraction, she did as she was told and leaned back against the rock to try and relax. Yet that was about as easy as to tell the river to stop flowing.
Once Jerome returned she felt at ease, as much as one could be while in the early stages of labor. Looking to her mate with pleading eyes to at least say something comforting, her eyes snapped wide open as she felt her feet rest on the Arbiter's chest as if she wasn't near hyperventilating before she certainly was now. "Ah..Ah I c-c-cant d-d-do thisssss!" She cried out, gritting her teeth once more.
However, back at the house the door slammed open as an irrate Corosina barged out onto the patio with her tail slashing through the air behind her. "What the hell is all the racket, keep it down when people are trying to cat-nap!!!...." Blinking at the sight on the front lawn between Koyuki, Jerome and Arbiter the tigress barely kept in her laughter as it did look quite comical from a third party point of view. Yet it wasn't long before the scent of what was really going on caught her nose and she blinked widely. "Ah...its time???!" Bounding over to the three she quickly tried to survey what was going on, having no previous experience with children herself but had seen it done amongst her prior pack of sorts. "Is this all you have?? Where are the receiving blankets, and a place to set the things?" Koyuki's screaming didn't help matter as the poor thing was caught in the middle of it trying to ride through the pain. "We need ice! We need..." Another scream, this time even that one caused Corosina to flinch as she leaned down and pinched the back of Koyuki's neck long enough for the vixen to pass out....not for long; but at least enough so that she could finish.
"Sorry sugar, but you're not ready to push just yet." She purred a bit mischievously, before looking to the familiar faces. "So Arby, you're doctor I take it...." her eyes slid over to Jerome who seemed to be in a visible panic. "Do you know where the stuff I said is? She wont be out for long..."

Wide eyed and lost, Jerome just stood next to his mate and waited for her to regain consciousness. He knew that he couldn't crowd her, so he just took the paw nearest to him and held it gently, knowing full well that when she woke up, he was going to loose a hand. He whipped his gaze over to the new entity and scowled. "Well if you say we need all these things, then you go get them!" he snarled. Obviously now was not the time to piss anyone off. He dabbed at Koyuki's forehead with some of a damp towel to relieve some of the heat that may be overwhelming her
Arbiter glanced over his shoulder to find a person he wasn't to thrilled to see. He giving suggestions was just mere insulting to him. "Look if you want to help, get your a** out of here and find these things. Other wise, Towels are the best I can do!" he glared looking back at the pained vixen. What did that witch know. There was no time to wait. When babies come, they come, and Arbiter knew that they were coming now.

Corosina shook her head, obviously unphased by their irritable attitudes as she let out a dramatic sigh. "Well fine....at least she'll appreciate the modern comforts..." Flicking her tail she stalked back to the house and tried to remember where the things could be. Easily she grabbed ice in a bucket from the freezer, and digging through Koyuki's room she managed to find some of the blankets she spoke about....but that basket....that would be a hard thing to locate....
What seemed like a passing of ten minutes lasted only seconds for Koyuki as her eyes fluttered open hazily, bringing her free paw up to her head. "Ano....what happened?" She felt the warmth of Jerome's hand holding hers....and warmth on her feet? Turning her head she blinked blankly at Arbiter, almost wishing she was dreaming. The pain had dulled for the time being as Koyuki remembered something and looked around, before back at her still large stomach. "ah...still in there?"

"Hey, welcome back" the spartan said with a relieved smile. "That she-witch tiger was just here. She's going to go get more stuff I guess" he said with a tone of spite in his voice
"Yes. Apparently she thinks what we have is not good enough. But with that being said, you still have some pushing to do." the elite said knowing it wasn't best to push this matter, but he had no choice for the time being

"More stuff....?" Koyuki blinked and looked to her mate, given she'd never been around kits other than when she was a kit herself she figured both Arbiter and Corosina would have more of an idea about what was needed....even if their opinion seemed to differ. "Well....being prepared with extra can't hurt right?" She was sure they had everything they needed, but normally Koyuki liked to have backups, to have plans, to have those just in case of emergency....
Well, she wished she could have had a plan of action as the pain returned tenfold as her body once more synced with her nervous system from the unconscious spell and sent the vixen into a world of hurt. Gripping Jerome's unfortunate hand her head reeled back to let out a pained, sharp cry; tail doubling in size as her hairs stood on end. "Ahhhhhhhhhieee! Make it stop, MAKE IT STOP!" It hurt, so very badly especially for someone her size, or lack there of....no wonder the magic of the bowls worked so well...
Immediately she pulled his hand up against her and held on tightly to keep his arm near, but tried as hard as she could to keep her paws from crushing his. Push...she had to push right? What about the C-section? With Jerome in his tired state she knew it would be too far for him, and Arbiter was well...preoccupied, the only female around was currently off in the house still obliviously looking for things apparently and her mother wasn't even here! Tears fell down her cheeks as she felt helpess, that none of this was going to even the remote hopes she'd had for this so called 'miracle'....yet the reality was here and now was what she was going to get.
She had to deliver these kits the way nature intended, in a way....and she was determined to succeed.

Pale and exhausted beyond any prior comprehendable means, Koyuki's chest rose and fell heavily still from the efforts which could be seen bundled in their receiving blankets while they adjusted to the outside world. Two little...well, quite large bundles of joy; a boy and a girl....twins. Barely able to keep her eyes open as all her weight was supported by the rock and the blanket which gave some comfort, Koyuki kept passing in and out of consciousness from the blood loss - but otherwise she was fine....and she was a mother.
The sensation was daunting, but she was saddened she hadn't the strength to hold either of them.

Jerome was as proud as can be. He felt his chest was going to explode with the pride that was overwhelming him. To relieve his mate, her tenderly took hold of the one nearest to him, which was the boy. He couldn't help but shed a tear when already he could see his little man having the same sleek hair he did...just darker.
He looked to Koyuki. "What are we calling them?"
The massive elite felt that he was no longer needed with the new parents, so he felt it best if he slinked off back to the woods and cleaned his claws from the blood and lord knows what else. He felt bad about leaving them so soon, but it wasn't in his nature to linger in one place for too long.

Twisting her head slowly as Arbiter left without so much a word, she realized she owed most of this new found joy to him....and licking her parched lips gently she managed to hoarsely call after him "...Thank you..." before turning her fleeting attention to her mate and kits. The scene brought a beautiful smile to her lips, tired eyes trying to imprint it to memory.
"....name one....after a planet.....remember?" It was something she couldn't forget, the conversation leading up to the past month...to their little family. Letting out a long breath as she tried to relaxed, closing her eyes momentarily.
So many smells, so many noises. The little kit could hear conversations around her but felt the confines of the blanket as she tried to stretch out and kick; whimpering softly as she was unable to get herself free or really understand what was going on as she lie on the ground.

Jerome paused for a moment as he searched the endless possibilities for names. It was a difficult decision as there were so many fitting ones. He doesn't look like a Charbroydis, nor a Reach. What will I call him? he thought to himself as he looked a the little boy and watch him nuzzle the blanket and stick a thumb in his tiny little mouth. Hopefully he will grow out of that.
He looked up and for some reason, one name stuck out to him. One of the most diverse planets he had ever visited and one of the most bizarre. If anything It's name would fit some aspect of a developing personality. "I will call this one Bryyo"

"Bryyo....How l-lovely..." The vixen smiled her paw lazing off her frame to reach out to at least touch her little daughter, a bit shocked to suddenly feel her nose touch against her palm before she nuzzled her head against her fingertips. Biting her lip gently, her eyes cracked open to look down at the little thing as she wriggled and secured her head against Koyuki's hand before drifting comfortably back to sleep.
Be it the hormones, her exhaustion, or a mix of everything, Koyuki would feel the proud tears slip down her cheeks....how could they have been so blessed? "My-Nariko...." She found comfort in her mother's habit of calling her such...but remembered Jerome didn't know her native tongue. "My hard working child..." Turning her gaze to Jerome, she smiled warmly; wishing she could reach out. "Bryyo and Nariko....I love it, as much as I love you..."

Jerome smiled. "Save that love for when we can get you and the newborns to safety." he said as he shifted the newly dubbed Bryyo to his left arm, and offered him his right. "It's not far. You can make it" he said encouragingly

Moving? Oh dear...looking down to Nariko, Koyuki heaved herself from the rock with a wince; pushing her body as far as it would go to get herself and the kits inside. Gently easing their daughter into her left arm took his own with her right as she had to use his stability to slowly ease herself up as her lean was heavy against his side. Needless to say she wasn't going to be letting go of their precious cargo.
"L-lets go...." She breathed, a faint smile on her lips as she tried to walk strong and steady....bed had never sounded so good even after the weeks of bedrest.

The Spartan followed behind cautiously, making sure to catch the vixen if she fell or stumbled. It was a long journey, but soon the 4 reached the small crowded bedroom. Jerome, being a gentleman made sure Koyuki and the new kits got into the bed safely, before he himself crashed on the sleeping bag nearby, looking at his swollen and obviously broken hand, but he was willing to deal with it, despite the pain it caused.
