"How dare she imply that!" Throngar thundered in sympathy with your brother. "As if you'd pay attention to flower arrangements!" He then happened to glance round... then stopped. "Hey," he grunted, not quite understanding what he was seeing just yet. "Where'd my hat go?"

"Indeed," Alcharius cackled along with her, before sobering a little. "Still, they are known for their stamina, even if they have to use more energy covering the same amount of distance. We'd better keep moving."

Jinx nodded and began running again, "Do you think they'd know which way we went?" She asked looking back.

"If they were sober, they'd probably notice the tracks, or have the sense to cast a tracking spell," Alcharius noted, before adding witheringly, "But in their current state? Doubt it. I expect we've got at least until halfway through tomorrow before they'll be on the right lines. Unless they're unusually lucky and somehow manage to choose the right direction utterly at random."

Throngar stared at Gorum for several long moments, as if working out what his brother was saying, then grunted and stood, taking his staff - or perhaps leaning on it - as he did so. "I can try," he grunted. "'Course, not meant to cast magic when I'm... uh... when I'm like this." He hick'd, then raised his arms and began an incantation. "Ginjay ochuki hastrutha kleros!" There was suddenly a crack like thunder... and a branch snapped with an almighty crack off the nearest tree and plummeted down, striking Throngar on the head on its way. A raven who had been sitting it flew off, cawing in shock, as the dwarf mage let out a great howl of pain.

Jinx jumped when her heard the loud crack that sounded like thunder, the sudden sound scared her so bad, it made her run faster. "How far is the nearest town?" she asked frantically.

"Twenty furlongs east," Alcharius told her, also sounding just a little rattled, though getting over it rapidly. "Stihltonn. A small town of halflings and Gaians."

Jinx ran as fast as she could towards the town. When she got there she was so out of breathe, she fell to her knees by the city walls and panted.

A familiar sound greeted jinx's ears as she slumped on the ground. Hihi second bestest of friend.did you fall? ill get you upup. and with that the fire imp began pulling at jinx's arms

"Get your filthy hands off me!" Jinx exclaimed pulling away from the Imp.
Two guards were on either side of the gate. They were both Gaian. "Are you alright Missy?" the one closest to her asked.
"Yeah, I am fine," She said, She pushed herself off the ground and walked through the gates. The guards eyed her as she walked through, leaving the Imp outside.
Inside, the city was as busy as ever, even though it was night. Street lamps lined the cobblestone roads, horse and carriages went up and down the roads driven by half lings and Giaians, but mostly half lings. Jinx walked proudly down the sidewalk and disappeared in the crowd of people.
Shoppes where everywhere, it ranged from butcher shoppes, bakeries, clothing and Inns/Taverns.

The raven that had flown off the branch in shock fluttered back down and seemed to land mid air, until Grim stepped out from the shadows. "You two have been making enough noise to wake the dead" he said in a slightly pissed off tone, "and now you're drunkenly destroying my forest, what brings you here dwarves?"

"Hey!!" came an unknown voice from inside a tent. "Don't talk about the dead until you KNOW they're awake!" said the same voice, before a walking skeleton came stumbling out of the tent. "I'm awake! What happe- oh. My grandsons are drunk."
