Hello, thanks for accepting me. Here are some random things before I post the profile skeleton. I am Harley. I'm kinda shy, but I am willing to open up.
I talk with my hands a lot, which makes a ton of people assume that I am Italian(but I'm not). I play the violin in my high school orchestra, but I don't like it much. I write poetry. I am typo-prone, but I proofread and catch MOST of my typos.
I like candles because they are the only thing I can set on fire without hurting anyone. I'm also very fond of using parentheses.(You can probably tell from this post. I keep adding little afterthoughts and details by using parentheses. I hope this isn't annoying anyone...)
I never want to get married, I like being alone. I think a husband would seriously cramp my style. I don't want to have kids either, their immaturity really bugs me, even though I know was a child once. If I decide that I do want children, I'll adopt eight year olds Still children, but a bit more grown up. And lots of kids need parents, I don't see why I should contribute to the world's massive population when I can just adopt children instead. I may change my mind about marriage and children later on, but this is my game plan for now.

First of all, I'd like to convey my deepest gratitude to Shade Soul13, who granted my request to join this guild within an hour. So thank you. I've been looking for a guild like this for days (since I've decided to join one).

An introduction, eh?

I usually go by Pat (as I've changed my Gaian username half-a-dozen times). In Gaian years, I'm around 5 years old (older than this account). In real-life, I've reached what most would call real adulthood--and that's twenty-one years of age. --I still haven't gone out and bought alcohol, for reasons unknown.

My interests lie in many a thing. But at the front-most of that list, I'd have to say that literature steals most of my time. Usually fantasy and science-fiction, but sometimes a regular fiction novel grabs my attention (crime-fiction, for the most part). And then there is my, in no way insignificant, collection of sapphic-romance novels (a guilty pleasure, if you will). At the rear, we have fan-fiction. From dozens upon dozens of fandoms.

Other than a reading-maniac, I would like to call myself some sort of artist. Just as I love to read, I also love to write. Not often, since most of my stories start and end in my mind (never quite making it on paper--or hard drive, as it is these days). Then there is Photoshop. Not so much recently, but I used to spend entire days on that program, manipulating the computer into letting me make my imaginative art true and solid. Lastly, I dabble in a little photography (although nothing worthy of any air-time).

As to why I feel this guild is for me:

I'm an completely and utterly anti-social. More than that, really. I dislike human companionship. I've sometimes gone as far as to say that I dislike humankind in general (and I'm starting to believe that it's true). And, unfortunately, I think I'm a bit of a sociopath. Well, it could also be that I'm just a really, really big a*****e; but it doesn't really matter which it is. So, there, I've warned you all. --Oh, and by the way, I don't go around stabbing people at night to satisfy my inner evil.

Hmm . . . I dislike the expectations modern society burdens us all with. The whole: "graduate high-school, go to college, get a boring job, get married, have kids, and die old and happy." It doesn't bring happiness, just acceptance. And that's another thing I severely dislike: the desire to be accepted by said society. I don't seem to have that symptom, but every one of my friends and family do.

I used to spend a lot of time with video games, but, recently, all I've been able to stand is Diablo. Love T.V. shows: Burn Notice, Covert Affairs, The Gates, True Blood, Psych, White Collar, Rubicon (and those are, obviously, only the ones that are currently running).
