 Doku"Didn't they teach you in pastor school not to take Arceus' name in vain?" Doku hissed as the Honchkrow revealed himself.
Even though they had never met, Doku felt nothing but hostility to his future father-in-law.
How dare he abandon Zori like that?!
"We're getting married."

 ZoriZori's fur bristled uncomfortably as the Honchkrow appeared, and she narrowed her eyes slightly, lifting her chin to stare at her father with an eerie calm. Her ears flicked back ever so slightly, a subtle sign that she'd tear the feathers from his wings if he ruined one of the most important days of her life.
She nodded as Doku spoke, but said nothing more, her leafy tail lashing once to show her discomfort at being within the cathedral walls. She could feel old hurt and hostility rising inside her every time she looked at the Honchkrow, and so she forced herself to look away from him, staring instead at the stone floor a few feet in front of her paws.

The holy avian let out a sigh at the amount of hostility in the air; by this point able to tell his commentary wasn't needed rather simply his position at the altar. Which soon enough with one flap of his wings he made his way to and waited for the soon-to-be married couple to follow.
"Not really into the whole incest thing, but lets get this show on the road anyway."
He concluded since no one really gave him a sure answer to his original question...

Doku"We're not siblings, bird-brain!" Doku hissed in reply.
As he followed the Honchkrow, he wondered to himself who in their right mind let this b*****d be a priest.
"Now I'm the one having second thoughts about this place..." He muttered in Zori's ear.

ZoriZori hissed softly under her breath, flicking her ears slightly as Doku whispered to her. "He's drunk. I can smell the alcohol from here." She murmured back, her voice full of displeasure. The scent was giving her a bit of a headache.
To dishonor Arceus this way, to have the whole cathedral smell of alcohol and filth... This was not as it should be.

"Hey, hey, now be nice. Daddy is doing you a favor here."
The Honchkrow noted as a constant slew of hurtful words echoed through the large establishment. Despite all the hate directed toward him, he couldn't help but feel a little bit giddy on the inside for having referred to himself as the father of something and not in the normal holy manor.
"So are we gonna' start this or what?"
He tried to hurry things along and get attention away from his drunken status...

DokuDoku mumbled something and stood before the pew.
He was hoping his wedding, although quiet, would be a little more formal than this.
Honestly, who let a drunkard be a priest?!

ZoriZori flattened her ears, wincing. "S-sorry...." She stammered quietly, feeling both ashamed and embarrassed.
On one hand, she was insulting her only remaining parent. On the other hand, he wasn't turning this into her best day ever...
Her leafy tail between her legs, she padded meekly up next to Doku, standing in front of him. Coming here had been a bad idea...
She kneaded the ground anxiously with her paws, staring at the floor as her tail curled nervously around her paws.

The avian shrugged as it seemed both of the Leafeon were at least now in the general vicinity of each other and directly before the alter.
"We're gathered here today...blah...blahblahblah... Vows anyone?"

DokuDoku again growled a little as Father Honchkrow began.
Seemed they weren't even going to get the full wedding package.
"Fine..." He muttered, turning to Zori.
As he began saying his vows, he kept the Honchkrow in his peripheral vision.

ZoriZori's ears pricked as Doku spoke his vows, and she felt her heart start beating a little faster. She felt both embarrassed and touched by his words, although she knew they were but standard wedding vows.
"I Zori, take you Doku, Alexander DeLuca Eclipse to be my husband, my partner in life and my one true love. I will cherish our union and love you more each day than I did the day before. I will trust you and respect you, laugh with you and cry with you, loving you faithfully through good times and bad, regardless of the obstacles we may face together. I give you my hand, my heart, and my love, from this day forward for as long as we both shall live." She finished, her eyes glinting with tears. She wasn't upset; she was happy. Completely ignoring her father, and letting herself be drawn in by the soothing voice of her mate. He was the one who was important to her just then, and it was he who she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.
"...I love you." She added in a soft undertone, for she knew that it wasn't really a part of the traditional vows.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
The Honchkrow noted with utmost seriousness; not wanting this prolonged any longer with his own antics. With that said he crept of the scene unnoticed, having the strangest feeling he wasn't wanted in the vicinity any longer; his job now over.

DokuAt these next words from the Honchkrow, Doku's animosity dissipated and was replaced with sheer joy.
He smiled as he gazed at his new wife.
He was married to the most amazing girl ever~
"I love you, too," He purred before he leaned forward and pressed his lips to Zori's.

ZoriZori purred lovingly, kissing Doku back. After a moment, they broke apart, and she nuzzled him affectionately.
She brushed rubbed her face gently against his shoulder, and the pair departed, leafy tail entwined.

Sitting at the front pew of the cathedral, a bizzare Eevee sat contemplating his paws before the ornate statue of Arceus.
It was bizzare in that while clearly an Eevee it was large in size and could just as easily be mistaken for a Flareon, sans the 'hair' tuft that the Fire Type had.
Around it's throat was a black choker, the pendant hanging from it was tucked into the fur of it's ruff and out of view.
It's bright red eyes flickered to the door momentarily before turning back to the statue of Arceus and giving a slight smile.
Visitors.
