"Yea... Although.. I wouldn't mind seeing him again.. Just for old times sake." She curiously winked at Riddle, giggling afterwards.
Inside the little bag was a clear, glass ball. It was about the size of a tennis ball. Autumn reached into the bag and pulled the ball out for Takato. As soon as it emerged from the bag, it began to glow a light blue color. On the inside of it were some tiny snowflakes and fall leaves. They were twirling around each other, almost as if they were dancing. After about a few minutes, the ball began to glow a light brown color, almost that of Autumn skin. It was also at this time that the rotation of the snowflakes and leaves changed their course, twirling the other way now. "Does Takato like Autumn's gift for Christmas?"

"Yes, indeed. It is quite beautiful." He marveled at the use of magic, but wondered who had made it.
"Once you see him, it's kinda hard to forget him, the way he acts." The doorbell rang again. Shona darted towards it and opened it. Clourio stood there, smiling brightly. Shona moved out the way and let Clourio in. He walked in and over to Riddle and Kitty. "Took me a good ten minutes to get rid of your traps Riddle. What'd you set them for, a swarm of vampires? And who...oh, I remember you. I see you've learned your lesson." Clourio grinned, remembering the prank he pulled on her, noticing she wasn't wearing a skirt this time. Riddle sighed and shook his head. He hadn't been here for five minutes and he was already causing trouble.

Autumn smiled gently. "Autumn is glad... Takato was hard to pick out for."
Kitty glared at her old friend, but then smiled, walking over to him. "You would think that wouldn't you Clourio? Well, you're completely wrong. True, I may be wearing pants right now, but that doesn't mean that I don't have a skirt up my sleeve somewhere." It seemed Kitty wasn't much better than her old prankster.

"I wouldn't expect anything better from you, Kitty." He laughed, it sounding a bit like an enemy from a book, but what could you expect from a vampire? For the most part, he laughed normally. "......why do I make friends with the likes of pranksters? Oh yeah, I was one. Then again, Melrin was always there to straighten us out or help us." "Yeah, but times troubled him at his forest city, and now he's there, fighting off monsters again. Stupid elves."

"Elves huh? I haven't seen any of those little pests in years it seems... Nor have I seen any gnomes in a while...."
Upstairs, Autumn had put the glass ball onto Takato's desk, next to a tightly closed book. It continued to show off it's little wonderous display, the glow and pattern of it changing every few mintues.

"Yeah. If Melrin shows up right now, I'd be happy..." "Yeah, I haven't seen him in a few months. I hope he solves that crisis soon, it gets boring not having him nag us to death about what we do wrong." "You actually miss that?" "Yeah. I nearly got fried because of stupidity, and by some of the vampire slayers in your squadron." "Not my fault you charged in there like an idiot. You were lucky I was on call, with the Grunnies and all."
Takato watched intently, feeling guilty he hadn't thought to get Autumn anything. Skybolt rolled his eyes, and tramped back into bed. Shona had woken them all up early this morning, screaming "It's Christmas, it's Christmas!" and waking up everyone in the house. Otenko was quite ashamed, thinking he'd done better to teach her well.

"Uhhh... What exactly are you two talking about now..? I'm just totally lost.... Then again though, you two were always good at doing that to me."
Autumn turned around and walked back over to Takato's bed, looking at the Dragon plushie that her eyes saw. She cocked her head to one side, swearing that she had seen it move just a second ago, but that was silly! So, she just shrugged, and sat back down on the bed, watching Takato.

"It's only things we would know about..." Riddle was cut off by the doorbell ringing. Once again, Shona lept up and ran to the door to answer it. She returned a moment later, looking confused. Following her was an elf, about Riddle's height, looking tired and worn out. "Hello Riddle, Clourio." "Melrin!" "What're you doing here?"
"Yes, he moved." It was almost as if Takato had read his thoughts, but he hadn't. He'd seen it enough before, and had once experienced the same confusion, when he first met Skybolt. "Skybolt isn't an ordinary plushie."

Kitty was baffled as she saw this elf walk in, followed by a confused-looking Shona. She hadn't really known Melrin too well, only Riddle and Clourio. Still though, if he was one of Riddle's old friends, then chances are he was an old friend of hers too.... She just couldn't remember being friends with an elf very well.
"But... Plush can't move... Right Takato? Even if Skybolt is not ordinary.. Plush are not supposed to move." It was extremely obvious that she was confused, for she had thought that she had been seeing things.

"Who is this Riddle?" Melrin couldn't remember meeting her either, if he ever had, and he had the best memory out of all of them. "This is Kitty, Melrin." "Hello Kitty." He held out his hand to shake.
"That's because he's not a plushie at all. He's actually a Dragon, but he chooses not to show you, until you've proven yourself to be trustworthy." "Takato you idiot!" The little plushie's form changed and morphed into a living form of the plushie. "You weren't supposed to tell her! Why did you?!" "That's because I can trust her, why can't you?"

"Hello Melrin. Very nice to meet you." She grasped Melrin's hand, shaking it firmly, and then letting go. She looked over to Riddle for a split second, looking a tad confused, but then looked back to the elf in front of her.
Autumn shrieked some, jumping back a bit, causing her to sort of jump right off of Takato's bed. She looked at Skybolt and then over to Takato. "T-The Skybolt plush is a-a-alive....?"

"Yes, he's alive, he never was a plushie at all, he just took that form to hide himself from non-believing humans." "So stop calling me a plush, ya hear?"
"Well met Kitty. Merry Christmas." "Strange, I thought you didn't celebrate Christmas." "Yeah, I don't recall you joining us in the celebration." "Tis the season." Riddle shrugged, so did Clourio. Shona had shuffled off long ago, not really interested in their conversation.

Autumn looked back at Skybolt and saw out irritated he was with her. So, she nodded, slowly got back up, shaking a bit here and there, and sat back down on the bed. "So... Should Autumn call Skybolt plush Skybolt or something else?"
"Yes... Tis the season to be jolly and thoughtful. So.... Who is ready for some cookies, milk, and nog?" She was somewhat trying to change the subject, as to involve Shona again.

Shona nodded. "I would, Kitty. Please?" "I wouldn't mind some Nog." "Nothing for me." "I'll take some milk, and a cookie." Clourio pulled out a corked silver flask. He smiled, and uncorked it. It was obvious blood was in it.

Kitty smiled and nodded to them all, beginning to hand out the cookies, milk, and nog to everyone, except Clourio of course. "Shona, would be so kind as to take some cookies, milk, and nog upstairs to Takato and Autumn please? I believe Skybolt is up there with them as well."
