"They were... friends of a season," she smiled. "We formed a sort of group, the lot of us. Some wandered off on their own paths, and some chose to start families. I did not keep in touch with them, sadly."

"That is very sweet," she chuckled. "However it is not necessary. As I said, we were seasonal friends. The time has passed when we needed one another. I would like to find a lifetime friend, however such a thing must be natural."
